Baby Love – The Supremes

Kyouka was very tired at the moment as she laid in the hospital bed. Tired, yet satisfied as she smiled at the little bundle in her arms.

"Hey, little girl," said Kyouka in a soft tone.

She glanced over at her husband, who looked at their newborn daughter in awe and nervousness.

"Sh-She's so tiny," said the green-haired man. He reached over and gently ran his hand through the tuft of purple hair on the baby's head.

"Well she was just born, Izu-kun," replied Kyouka with a giggle. "Give her time and she'll grow…although since we were never the tallest out of our peers, she probably won't grow too much."

"You don't know that, Kyouka."

"Izuku, I was the third shortest girl in class and you were the second shortest boy. Genetics will play a roll in how tall she'll get."

Izuku blinked in confusion before going into thought. "Wait, Fumikage was the second shortest boy in class. The shortest would have been…"

"The perverted gremlin doesn't count, Izuku," replied Kyouka in a deadpan tone.

"R-Right," stuttered out Izuku with a sweatdrop. He then looked back at their daughter. "Speaking of genetics, she looks like she'll take after you, Kyouka."

It was true. The child had Kyouka's hair color, eye shape, and even her own little earphone jacks.

"She has your freckles, Izu-kun," said Kyouka, smiling at the diamond-shaped patterns on her daughter's cheeks. She then turned to her husband with a worried look. "B-By the way, we still need to come up with a name."

Izuku merely smiled. "I already have one picked out. I think you might like, too."

The purple-haired woman raised an eyebrow. "Oh yeah? Well what is it?"

"Izuka," replied the green-haired man. "I…I figured you might have wanted to continue your family's tradition. I-Is that okay? The name?"

Kyouka stared at her husband with wide eyes before beckoning him to lean closer. When he leaned down close enough, she grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him into a deep, loving kiss. Releasing him, she gave her now red-faced husband a loving smile.

"Izuka is a perfect name for her, Izuku."

"G-Glad to hear that you like it, Kyouka."

A slight noise came from the bundle, gaining the new parents' attention. The slightly squirming baby opened her eyes and looked up her parents, who stared back in surprise. Kyouka grinned happily at what she saw.

"Looks like your freckles aren't the only thing Izuka inherited from you, Izuku."

Staring up at the new parents were a pair of bright green eyes that clearly came her father. Izuku's own green eyes started to tear up. He reached over to once again to gently rub his daughter's head.

"Welcome to the world, Izuka Midoriya."
