Kyouka didn't even try to hide the amused smile on her face as she watched green cinnamon roll from the corner of her eye.

"This isn't funny, Kyouka."

"The fact that your leg is in a cast because you overexerted yourself, no. The fact that you're pouting adorably, that is a big yes."

Izuku let out a groan as he placed one of his arms over his eyes. "Why did this have to happen?"

He soon felt his mattress sink and his arm moved off of his eyes. Emerald green looked into amethyst purple, wondering what she was going to do.

"Is it really that bad, Izu-kun? You get to have some rest and your girlfriend gets to take care of you," she said, running her hand through his soft, fluffy hair.

"But I don't want you to take care of me," stated Izuku. "Why should you have to waste your day because I did something stupid?"

She adjusted herself to lie next to her man, careful not to jostle his leg. She then nuzzled up against him. It was only in private moments like this could the usually shy couple be this intimate.

"I'm not wasting my day, Izu-kun," replied Kyouka in a soft tone. "I love being with you and it hurts me when I see you hurt."

"Even when I hurt myself?"

"Especially when you hurt yourself. The point is that I want to take care of you. If the roles were reversed, wouldn't you want to take care of me?"

"Of course I would! …Oh."

"Exactly," said the shy rocker with a giggle. "You really need to learn that it's okay for other people, especially me, to worry about you, Izu-kun."

He let out a sigh. "I know and I am trying."

She placed a light kiss on the edge of his mouth. "I know you are. Now, do you want head down to the commons room to watch some TV? It'd be better than staying cooped up in here all day."

"…Yeah, I'd like that."

Helping him sit up, she then handed him his crutches. As he stood up, she went over to open the door for him. Once he was out of the room, she closed the door and the shy couple made their way over to the elevator. As they waited for the elevator to arrive, she glanced over at Izuku and couldn't help but smile.

She was happy that he didn't push her away.
