You Really Got A Hold On Me – Smokey Robinson & The Miracles

Kyouka's eye twitched in annoyance as she looked down at her notebook. It wasn't because she couldn't think of any lyrics to write down. In fact, she was able to write a whole song.

The only problem was that the song was about a certain green-haired cinnamon roll.

Letting out a groan, she hid her blushing face behind her hands, despite the fact that she was the only one in her room at the moment. Looking out from between her fingers, she glared at the offending notebook.

"Why did this have to happen?" she questioned to herself.

She wasn't exactly sure when this all started. She suspected it was at the Sports Festival where he purposely threw out his chances of winning just to help Todoroki. What she did know was that she greatly admired Midoriya Izuku and wanted to be closer to him.

"Too bad I'm too much of a coward to ask him," muttered the shy rocker with a pout. She hated being so insecure.

Looking back at the lyrics, she blushed once more. What made this situation worse was that she felt she was addicted to the freckled-face cutie. She might have been scared to ask him out, but she would finds ways just to hang out with him…usually in the form of study sessions after she tells him that Momo was tutoring too many people at once. Her blush became deeper when she thought of her one-on-one time with Izuku.

There were other ways, of course. Whenever Class 1-A would have movie nights for example, Kyouka would always try to get a seat right next to Izuku. This actually became useful whenever someone (usually Mina) had the brilliant idea to have everyone watch a horror movie, as when the scary parts happened she would scream and latch onto Izuku for protection. It was embarrassing for both of them, yes, but Izuku never pushed her away and would keep her safe.

Then there were the times she would wait for him to come back from training and cook for him. She would play it off like she was just going to make herself something, but would ask if he would like some as well. He would try to decline, but his stomach said otherwise. The first time she cooked for him, it warmed her heart when he said how delicious her cooking was and always looked forward to cooking more for him.

"Oh, I have it bad for Izuku-kun," said Kyouka with a groan. "I can only imagine what his reaction would be if he knew how much power he holds over me."

The thought of a red-faced, stuttering mess of a cinnamon roll made her giggle. She then let out a sigh before frowning, once again looking at her notebook.

"…I need to tell him. If this keeps up, who knows what will happen."

Filled with determination, she stood and made her way out of her room. She had a cinnamon roll to find and confess to.
