Under a vast blue and shining sky, Astral floated, following his friend Yuma with their other friends Kotori and Bronk.
Yuma soon stopped before running a few feet away and looked around. "So where's my next opponent?"
Astral could hear the two sighing behind him.
"Careful Yuma, you don't want to get a big head while you're at it." Kotori spoke up in annoyed tone.
"What? Come on guys? I got to enjoy this winning streak while I steal can." Yuma responded.
"This appears to be unusal event for Yuma." Astral thought.
"I summon Destiny Hero-Diamond Dude." A voice popped up.
At that moment, the blue ghost turned to his side and found two boys who looked alike, dueling using what looked to be hero themed decks that where similar to the greats duelist from the past, had.
"I don't remember seeing those guys before." Bronk commented. "must be new transfer students?"
"Interesting, I did not know that you humans could clone yourselves to duel against yourselves." The hetrochromatic alien said.
"They're not clones Astral." Astral heard Yuma saying.
Turning his attention on to his dueling partner uttered "huh?" He could tell that the face that Yuma was giving was a confident one, but he couldn't help be a little skeptic about friend's knowledge.
Yuma node. 'They're twins Astral."
"Twins?" Right after his dueling friend gave another node, he then asked "What are twins?"
At that moment, Yuma's smile shifted into a questioning expression. "They're brother, but are at the same time."
"I see." He stated before looking back at the boys. "Being twins means that you look exactly the same as your sibling?"
"I think you need to have checked there."
As he gave a question look, the red-eyed duelist continued. "I'll show you."
Once the group gotten to the twins, one of them used used a trap that took both of their life-points away and brought them down to zero. They lied on the ground, until one of them sat up. "Agh, why do always end in a draw?!"
Astral soon noticed that despite looking a the same age as one another; there were differences between the two boys. One that just complained had longer then the other with purple eyes and a mannerism that said he was more of a person that was quick to angered, while the other kid seem to have a shorter hair that was held a read headband and had brown eyes.
Wearing a frown the child with the headband said "Gee, T.K.O I don't know."
"Hm, T.K.O?" Astral thought to himself. "It appears that Yuma was right these two."
The ghost watched his human friend greeting the two. "Hi."
"Oh, hi." the headband wearer said in a bit of a nervous tone.
"You must be new around here?" Kotori questioned."
"Yeah, we just moved here a few days ago. I 'am K.O and this is my twin brother T.K.O."
The longer hair lad gave grunted.
There were something about that kid that kind of reminded Astral of Yuma's rival Shark.
"I 'm Yuma and this is my friends Kotori and Bronk."
After both Kotori and Bronk, the red eyed-duelist asked "Hey, uh, what were two dueling about earlier?" Yuma asked.
"Oh, we were just training for this up coming Pow tournament. We couldn't decide if we want to enter one on one or team for double battles."
"I'll help you guys decide. Let me duel you?"
"But how genius?" T.K.O spoke up. "It would be a two on one."
"Let's see." Yuma said right before closing his and hum a bit.
As soon as he opened them back up, Bronk offered "Hey, how about I'll team up with you?"
"That's a great idea Bronk then it'll be fair." Kotori stated with a smile.
Yuma node. "Sounds good to me. How about it you two?"
"Okay."
"Fine."
Soon the teams set and about ready to duel. Astral floated back next to Kotori, curious on how the duel will ended up.
"Let's duel!" Both teams called out.
Yuma and Bronk made their moves, while the Blue ghost noticed that as soon as K.O and T.K.O made some moves of their own that they have different style despite the looks. The one name K.O seem to be the more cautious of the two-rarely to-if-ever attacking. It kind of Reminded Astral of his own style though the headband wearer of own dueling style, however K.O didn't appear to have a whole thought into his.
T.K.O was exact opposite of his brother; always on the attack barely any defending. This reminded Astral a tad of Yuma's old ways, impulsive and hasty. Including times where the twins butted heads because T.K.O's action almost like how he clashed Yuma on ideals.
Despite, the battle the brothers showed and finally working as a team, they lost to team Yuma and Bronk.
Right after the two landed after getting by Yuma's and Bronk's cards, the said owners cheered as the field and the area went back to normal.
Astral watched as three friends walked up to the twins.
Yuma said "That was a great duel you two."
"Thanks." Uttered K.O rubbing the back of his head with his hand. He then turn to his brother and asked "Say, how about we team up since we fought like a team?"
"Fine." T.K.O said in a defeated tone though the blue ghost could see a soft smile on the purple-eyed child's face when K.O did them the same though more noticeable.
"I 'm sure you'll do fine. Yuma commented.
Just then, the bell ring and everyone said their good byes for now.
Following Yuma through the hall way, Astral made an observation later that though siblings may look alike and maybe very different they can make the beats of teams.
Author's note: Sorry, if got anything for Yu-gi-oh Zexal wrong. I have a bit of a hard trying to find the sub so I had to settle with English dub.
Also, I just curious if anyone besides, noticed that K.O could make a Yu-gi-oh a protagonist or that the show could make a Yu-gi-oh show with just a few tweaking.
