A/N: Shiyo Todoroki and her story both belong to me. The rest of the BNHA world belongs to Kohei Horikoshi. This is based on the English dub version of the anime. Thank you for reading, and enjoy!

"Hey sis," Shoto lightly knocked on his sisters door, "It's exam day. We gotta go."

Shiyo laid in her bed, completely undisturbed by her brother. She groans at the sound of the knock, however. She pulled her covers back up over her head, and drifted back off into the sweet abyss of sleep. That is, until her door bursts open. She jumped back, startled back into reality, and spots her brother smirking by the door like he had just won the lottery.

She sighs in annoyance and throws her covers off. Shoto smirked as he went to run out of the room, but in one swift move, Shiyo had iced the floor underneath her sibling. Shoto slid out the door, face-planting into the wall, and landed on his butt. Shiyo giggled as she shut the door on her stunned twin, who laid there motionless and in shock at how quickly the tables had turned.

He scoffed, and then laughed softly, "Come on sis, we gotta head out soon."

"Okay!"

The twins walked to school next to each-other, almost walking in sync as they read their books. They did this every day, but it never ceased to amaze their schoolmates. They admired the twins concentration on their books as they walked up the steps of their middle school, and avoided other students without glancing up to look where it was they were going. They had the entire path to their classroom memorized. How many turns, sets of steps, how many crowds of students there would be, and even how many steps it took to get from the entrance to their desks.

"How excited are you to take the exam for UA?" Shiyo asked her brother as they rounded the corner into their classroom. They both set their books down softly on the desks, and sat down. With their desks being right next to each other, they were happy to be able to talk about their days, any other topic that could be bothering one another, or even the excitement for the day to one another.

Shoto sighed, and rubbed the back of his neck with curiosity, but showed little to no nervousness, "We'll get into UA, I have no doubts about it."

Shiyo admired his confidence, "I sure hope I do, or I'll be quite the embarrassment for you. There's no way they won't let you in." She laughed awkwardly.

Shoto sighed, leaned sideways, and flicked the side of her head, hard. Shiyo flinched at the sudden attack from her twin, and looked his direction. He wasn't smiling, but he also didn't look upset. He sat back straight in his seat as she rubbed the spot he flicked.

He looked back at Shiyo, who looked at him confused, "You'd never be an embarrassment, whether you get into UA or not. You'll always be my twin. Don't you dare forget that again."

She smiled.

Shiyo and Shoto were twins, and there was no denying it. Not only were their quirks almost the same, their personalities were also extremely similar. Despite being opposite genders, they melded perfectly, and rarely fought like average siblings. From their standpoint, they were twins as well as best friends. From a young age, they were trained by their father Endeavor, the #2 Pro Hero. Despite being a hero though, the twins were horribly abused by their father. The incident that left them with scars continued to drive them forward, however, and Endeavor couldn't do anything about it.

Shoto hushed Shiyo awake. It was night, and the tea smell wandered into the twins rooms. Shiyo got confused seeing her brother standing over her, but he hushed her and promised he'd explain. "Mom's in the kitchen talking about us." he spoke quietly.

They both wandered into the hall, and stood at the kitchen doorway. Their mother was talking to someone, but the twins couldn't hear who it was. They stood there, stunned at what they were hearing.

"Everyday, the children seem more like him. And the twins, their faces sometimes look unbearable to me. All I can see is their father. I can't raise them anymore."

"Momma?" Shoto stepped out, and Shiyo following behind her brother.

"What are you saying?" Shiyo piped up softly.

Their mom looked back at them, in horror, and the water flew into the air. At the second Shiyo understood what was about to happen, she threw herself into the mix to protect her twin, getting her neck and shoulder burned by the water in the process, but sparing Shoto 3/4ths of his face from being burned.

Rei panicked as the screams from her children filled the house. She instantly realized what she had done, and attempted to soothe their burns with her quirk, making the burns numb, but the burn progressing over the numbness, as if the boiling water was still there.

As their screams became louder, Enji's footsteps chimed in, and the screams became nonexistent.

"Shoto and Shiyo Todoroki," A voice chimed from the front of the room. The twins put their books back down as the teacher continued, "You both need to go to the principals office. He has an update with your admission to U.A."

As they stood up to leave, the class filled with whispers.

"They tried out for the national school?"

"They are Todoroki's, of course they would go the hero route."

"Hope they don't turn out like him."

Shoto took note as Shiyo squirmed in frustration to the comments. He sighed, tapping Shiyo's arm, and dragging her out of her thoughts. He nodded, and lightly smiled. His smile reminded Shiyo quickly that they weren't their father, and they would show them soon enough. They walked down the long hallway to the teachers lounge, where the principals office happened to be. They walked through and into the door in the far corner.

There, the principal sat with papers, and a type of amused grin on his face. The siblings exchanged a confused expression, and sat down in the two empty seats.

"It seems you two won't need to take the written or entrance exams for U.A." the teacher smiled, "It seems thanks to your academic scores in your current classes, your recommendations were accepted by the school, so the entrance exams are not needed to be taken."

Shoto and Shiyo both shared an expression of disbelief, but only for that instant before the twins jumped up with excitement.

The Todoroki Twins were going to U.A High.
