Scene 1: The Chang family members' house/Adelaide's bedroom
Adelaide's asleep in her bed and she wakes up in excitement.
Adelaide: "Here I come, time to take action."
Adelaide gets right outta her bed, walks around and trips right on a wooden building block.
Adelaide: "Whooooooooooa! yipes! I tripped on a building block!"
Becca (from downstairs in the dining room): "Adelaide,"
Sid (from downstairs in the dining room): "come downstairs to the breakfast table, please!"
Adelaide walks around downstairs on her way to the dining room.
The dining room
Adelaide pours out some Rainbow Fruity Crunch in her bright pink breakfast cereal bowl, but finds no prize toy figurine.
Adelaide: "Nothing but just Rainbow Fruity Crunch and no prize toy figurine."
Adelaide begins enjoying her Rainbow Fruity Crunch then later walks around on her way to the bus stop and on her way to the Great Lakes City Elementary School building.

Adelaide: "Oh look, banana cream pudding cups, my most favorite after lunch dessert snack."
Adelaide walks around and trips right over a tennis ball that's lying right on the school lunch room floor.
Jeffrey: [Laughing Uncontrollably]
Adelaide: "I just can't believe this is really happening to me."
Meanwhile on her way back home to the Chang family members' apartment, Adelaide walks around and Marvin and Melvin push her right off the curb of the sidewalk.
Adelaide: "That does it, I'm going back home right now, I can't stand this entire day any longer!"
Adelaide goes right back inside the Chang Family members' apartment.
Sid: "You seem terribly upset, Adelaide, is everything alright?"
Adelaide: "Mother? Daddy? Sid? I don't want anything for a dinner meal, I'm gonna be right upstairs in my bedroom if you need to see me for anything."
Adelaide depressingly goes right upstairs to her bedroom.
Adelaide's bedroom
Adelaide's now lying face down on her bed.
Adelaide: [Sobbing Heavily]
Sid: [Knocking On Door]
Sid enters Adelaide's bedroom and sits right on Adelaide's bed.
Sid: "I came right in here to see exactly how you're doing. (Adelaide lifts her tear-stained face right up from her bright pink pillow.) this must be a super hard day for you."
Adelaide: [Teared Up] "I-I-I-I just had the worst day of my entire life, Sid. I tripped on a building block, I got no prize toy collectible in my Rainbow Fruity Crunch, I got humiliated in the school lunch room and I even tripped and fell right off the curb of the sidewalk."
Adelaide: [Sobbing A Bit]
Sid: "Oh my word. Adelaide. let me snuggle up with you."
Adelaide's now sobbing heavily in Sid's arms and chest just as Sid begins stroking her hair and consoling her for a bit.
Sid: "Shhhhhhhhh. it's gonna be alright, Adelaide. things are gonna get better by tomorrow morning."
Adelaide: [Between Sobs And Weeps] "I know. I just hope they really do."
Sid: "Well, sometimes days can be like that, especially in Royal Woods, Gunther Town or Great Lakes City."
Adelaide: [Sniffs A Bit] "Really, Sid? thanks a bunch, I really appreciate that."
Sid: "You're welcome. I'm super thrilled you're agreeing with me. now come on, let's go right back downstairs to the dinner table in the dining room."
Sid and Adelaide go right downstairs to the dining room and they enjoy a dinner meal of meatloaf, mashed taters and green beans as well.
