"You are an asshole, you know that, Dom?" Catheryn screeched, punching at his chest with all the strength she could muster. "We BOTH are responsible for this child. BOTH! Not just me, not just you, BOTH of us! Oh, how simple it is for you to just opt out of taking care of your child! Why am I stuck with all this responsibility, huh? Where's my choice in this? Oh, that's right... I don't have a choice, but of course you do. How lovely," she stopped hitting him and stood up from the bed, not capable of looking him in the face at the moment.

Lyn furrowed her eyebrows. "I'm being serious! If you're going to be my husband, I'm not going to award you with my body! You deserve to suffer! No sex for you, buddy boy," she grinned triumphantly at Sebastian.

Suddenly, Demi stopped in her tracks, her heart jumping and landing in her throat as she noticed Ethan walking out of a building. Everyone else stopped too when they realized that he had walked out of an abandoned building that no one has set foot in in decades. They noticed that he had some kind of box in his hands and that he was observing his surroundings, hoping that no one had seen him.

Lyn got a hold of herself and sucked in all the pain, trying her best to numb it. She ripped a piece of wood off of this bench near by, making sure the end was pointed enough. She broke the car window and lodged the stake into Monica's back, interrupting her and Sebastian's make-out session.

I Don't Want to Love Him, but I Just Do...

Chapter 11

Numbness

As Lyn was racing towards Catheryn's house, she felt this huge crushing feeling in her abdomen that felt so familiar, a feeling she never wanted to feel again ever in her life. Deja vu literally slapping her in the face where her scars had finally mended, only to be reopened again.

Why was she feeling this way? She didn't feel anything for Sebastian Giracho! What's happening to me? Tears started to form in her eyes, sliding down with no force. Her vision started to become blurry and all she saw were foggy figures sliding passed her as she ran with lightning speed.

The thought of Sebastian kissing Monica only made tears slide down her cheeks even more; the mere thought of him actually saving her struck her so painfully. She knew they were only together because of an arranged marriage with no feelings anywhere to begin with except for hatred, but how could he do this to her? With the person that she hated more than him? Or do I hate him? That thought repeated itself over and over again in her head. She didn't know what she felt for him.

She finally arrived on Catheryn's doorstep, wiping the tears away so she didn't look so weak. She was about to open the door when she heard shouting coming from inside the house. Lyn brought her arm back to her side, not knowing if she should enter or not.

"This is the most irresponsible thing you have ever put yourself into, Cateryna!" Lyn heard Catheryn's father yell at her.

She backed away from the door. This could only mean one thing: Catheryn told her parents about her being pregnant. Her eyes widened and she just sat on the porch, not wanting to intrude in that argument. She didn't want to make things worse. Hopefully her parents understand and go easy on her... she thought.

Her father continued: "I will kill him," he confirmed, "I don't care how long they put me in prison! I will cut that little asshole up into pieces and throw him in a lake full of acid! He took advantage of my little daughter..." he spoke more to himself than to Catheryn in a depressed tone, his voice cracking up. "My daughter is going to suffer this accident for the rest of her life because of a night of 'fun,'" he hissed that last word, glaring at her with a death glare.

"Daddy-"

Her father cut Catheryn off, "Don't say one word," he closed his eyes and held up his hand, sighing deeply, not knowing how he was going to handle this situation.

Her mother was crying in the corner hysterically, too ashamed to look at her daughter straight in the face.

Her father shook his and opened his eyes to reveal that they were filled up with tears, his face turning a dark shade of red. "Your mother and I are so disappointed in you, Cateryna. You have shamed this family's name! You have shamed me, your mother, yourself, this whole GODDAMN FAMILY! I can't even look at you! You know better than this! We've taught you over and over again about these consequences and you still go and do them!"

Catheryn was now sobbing, her face in her hands. She shook her head in her hands, sniffling and crying till no end. "Daddy, I'm so sorry... Please forgive me!" she pleaded.

"No," her mother walked in between her husband and her daughter, "none of this 'I'm sorry, Daddy,'" she said it in this baby tone, "you will pay these consequences! You will have full responsibility with that baby! Don't expect me to help. Do what you have to do to. I don't care if you have to drop out of school! I don't care if you lose all respect from everyone! You're not living in this house anymore," she declared. "You want to do adult things, huh? You want to have a night of 'fun?' Bueno, dale! Adults have their own job, live in their own house, and have their own responsibilities! I want you out by tomorrow morning!" she avoided Catheryn's gaze and left without saying another word.

Catheryn was in complete shock. Her entire body went numb, she couldn't move on muscle, she couldn't feel any emotions. She sat on the couch, watching her father stand right in front of her and her mother walk away. She had been kicked out of her own house without a job, without anywhere to live, without Dominic... What was she to do now?

"Where am I supposed to live?" her voice squeaked and cracked as she managed to say that. "Daddy, you can't let my mother do this to me..."

"I can, and I will. You should have thought of this before letting that idiot get into your pants," he voiced boomed. "You figure this situation out yourself. I don't know where you are going to live but-"

Lyn barged into the house, no longer standing her best friend getting yelled at and kicked out of her own house when she's at a time where she needs all the help she can get. She marched up to Catheryn's father and made sure he saw how furious she was with him.

"Lyn, what are you doin-?"

"You know where she's gonna live?" Lyn cut Catheryn off and directed her question to Catheryn's father. "She's gonna live with me," she pointed to herself, "Do you not see how hurt she is right now? How desperate she needs help, especially her parents' help and support? You will regret this for the rest of your life," she paused, "one day when she's older and she's married and that baby of hers is all grown, you're going to forgive her, actually pleade for her forgiveness, but she will never forgive and forget what you did to her right here, right now."

Catheryn's father looked down at Lyn, wanting to say a few things back to her, but also not wanting to disrespect the princess of his country. He knew that he had to keep his mouth shut, and he knew that she was right.

Lyn noticed a hint of regret in her best friend's father's expression. She didn't care if he changed his mind about kicking Catheryn out, she was going to live with her and she was going to help Catheryn out through this whole nightmare that she's having.

She turned around to face Cat after she couldn't stand to look into Cat's father's face anymore. She placed a sisterly hand on her shoulder and said, "Come on, Cat, I'll help you pack. We're leaving tonight."

Catheryn didn't know how she actually stood up from the couch because she still had no feeling in her entire being. She was so in shock, she couldn't even speak, she just did what she was told to do. She was so grateful for having a friend like Lyn who would actually help her out through this when no one else would.

She went up to her room after Lyn and packed everything that was hers as quickly as she could to get out of this house that had become a stranger's house to her in less than an hour.

Monica woke up coughing, placing her hand to her temple as she felt this huge migraine. She noticed that her hands, arms, legs, feet had veins popping out of them as if she was dead. She felt up her face and she felt the veins there, too. How was she alive? She looked at her surroundings and noticed that she was in a bedroom, lying on the floor.

She looked to the side and saw a muscular figure lying on top of the bed. She also noticed that figure was staring right at her and she jumped in fright.

"Ow..." she touched her back and noticed there was a gaping hole there that was mending itself. Black liquid smudged up against the hand she had touched her wound with.

"You're lucky I saved you," the voice coming from the muscular figure who she knew was Sebastian. "Lyn almost killed you," he continued.

Monica chuckled and smirked at him. "Well, at least my plan is in effect and working," she stretched out her arm and placed it on Sebastian's thigh seductively. "You'd never let that bitch kill me, now would you, babe?"

He shrugged her hand off and stood up from his bed. He kneeled down next to where she was lying down and looked straight into her eyes. "I will protect you and I will never let that bitch touch you ever again, my love."

"That's what I like to hear," she smirked at him, looking down at his lips. She grabbed him by his shirt, pulling him closer to her, and kissed him powerfully. She felt satisfied as he responded with the same forcefulness. You are so going down, Lyn Scar, she thought as she continued on with the moment with Sebastian.

Lyn helped Catheryn unpack and move into one of the guest rooms at her house. She felt this tear in her frozen heart that reminded her of what Sebastian had done to her. She replayed the scene of catching him make-out with Monica over and over again and that only tore her heart more and more until she knew it was about to break in half.

She really didn't want to discuss her situation with Catheryn because she knew Cat was in too much stress as it is and more drama would only stress her out even more. She was going to help her move in and in a couple of days when everything has cooled down, she will explain everything to her.

"Thanks," she heard Catheryn say as she placed the last of her clothes in a drawer. "This means a lot to me, Lyn," she went up to Lyn and hugged her. "I don't know how I can repay you for all of this."

Lyn parted the embrace and gave Catheryn a you-have-got-to-be-kidding look. "Are you serious, Cat? You don't have to repay me at all! You are my best friend and I'm not going to let you live out on the streets. This is your home here for as long as you need it," she smiled.

Cat nodded and smiled back. "Thanks again," she slid her luggage bags under the bed. "Are you sure your parents are okay with this, Lyn?"

Lyn nodded, "They'll have no problem, trust me," she reassured. "If you need anything, I'll be in my room," she closed the door as she left.

Catheryn plopped down on her new bed and shut her eyes closed. Everything that happened today played itself on the back of her eyelids like a movie. How could her parents have down this to her? How could Dominic have left her? A tear slipped from her shut eyes. She thought he loved her... Why else would they make love? Dominic was the main reason she was torn apart. She loved him so much and would wish that he would change his mind and come back to her, but she knew his mind was made up. She knew he wasn't going to come back to her.

She caressed her stomach, feeling some type of force reverberating to her, knowing it was all in her head, but also knowing that her baby was calling out to her. She will keep her promised she made earlier; never will she abandon her child like Dominic and her father did to them. She was going to take full responsibilities of this baby and she was going to do everything she can to stay in school and live her future like she always planned. They are in it together for life.

The next morning, Lyn had left Catheryn sleeping at the house as she went off to school. She didn't want to disturb her and she knew she needed her rest. One day absent from school wasn't going to kill her, and Lyn knew that Catheryn was going to get her life back in line soon.

As Lyn was walking to her locker, she avoided everyone who passed by her, afraid that one of those people was going to be Sebastian and she was going to completely break down when she saw him. Was he going to be at school today? Would he have he even come up to me and explain everything that happened? She asked herself.

She felt so hurt and so betrayed, and she didn't even know if she would even forgive him if he apologized. What was he thinking? How could he have given into Monica that quickly? Was I falling for him and he just feeling trapped in this arranged marriage? Lyn stared into her locker, forgetting what she was going to get from her locker, a curtain of pain and depression sweeping over her.

"Lyn!" she broke from her misery and noticed Jandro was the one that had called her. Jandro, Ali, Liv, and Demi were walking up to her, their expressions full of worry. "Where have you been? We've been looking everywhere for you!" Jandro gave Lyn a huge bear hug, burning up from his extreme-temperatured skin touching her below freezing point skin. She didn't mind though; she hugged him back, feeling secure in his embrace.

"You do know why cellphones were created, right?" Ali asked as Jandro parted from the embrace. "We've called you and left you a trillion messages and we even walked to your house and you weren't there! Where were you? You had us worried sick!"

"Yeah, do you know how far your house is?" Demi began. "You know how lazy I am and I walked I don't know how many miles for nothing because you weren't at your house!"

"Guys..." Lyn started to say when she suddenly got distracted by something that shattered her into pieces again. She stared and just stood there, her jaw wide open as Sebastian and Monica walked hand-in-hand passed her as if she didn't exist and as if they were dating exclusively or something. How could Sebastian have the nerve to hurt Lyn anymore?

"Lyn?" Jandro waved his hand in front of her face and turned his head to see what she was staring at when she made no response. "What the hell?! What is he doing with Monica, Lyn?" he gritted his teeth, ready to finally kill Sebastian, the moment he was waiting for for a long time.

"I don't know..." her voice cracked, trying to hold back the tears. She didn't want to cry in school, especially if it meant that people would think she was jealous and hurt by what Sebastian did. "We went on this date and I went to go buy something, I come back, and they were making out..." she intentionally skipped the part where she almost killed Monica.

Before Lyn knew it, her friends weren't in front of her anymore. Jandro had gone full speed up to Sebastian and spun him around. Before Sebastian could do anything, Jandro punched him so hard that Sebastian flew into the lockers and made a dent in the metal. Demi had gone to teach Monica a lesson. Ali and Liv stood to the side not knowing what to do.

Albert and Cole, who were both standing nearby, saw Jandro throw that punch and came by to his aid. Albert pulled back Sebastian and Cole pulled back Jandro. Sebastian had some of his black blood spilling from a slit in his lip where Jandro had punched him, and Jandro had a broken nose.

"Let me go!" Jandro demanded but couldn't get out of Cole's grip. "This douche hurt Lyn! I'm not going to let him get away with this!"

Sebastian smirked over at Lyn who was too dumbstruck to have even moved from where she was standing by at her locker. "Still have your puppy fighting your own battles? Pathetic, Little Miss Princess," he scoffed.

"I'll show you who's a puppy!" Jandro's entire being started shaking and his skin started stretching in places in an unnatural way.

"Oh, no, he's going to transform!" cried Liv. She quickly got in the middle and tried to remember the spell that prevented werewolves from forming that she read the other day in the library. She racked her brain but she just couldn't remember. She soon realized that Jandro was almost fully formed and that she was in the way.

Jandro's canine teeth were inches from Liv's face when she suddenly felt strong arms push her to the side, spinning her in the air till she landed on something that didn't feel like the impact on the floor that would crush all of her bones that she imagined would happen next. She looked to see that she was on top of Cole, who had saved her from being bitten by Jandro.

Albert let go of Sebastian and transformed into a magnificent ivory werewolf to confront Jandro. He jumped onto Jandro and sunk his teeth into his neck only enough to make a minor injury, trying to pull him out of the school before anybody got really hurt. Jandro, in pain, gave into Albert's tugging and in seconds was outside in the parking lot of the school. Albert let go of Jandro and they both snapped their teeth and growled at each other until they disappeared out of sight.

Lyn finally came back to her senses, walking up to Sebastian who was still on the floor where Albert left him. Demi had stopped arguing with Monica now, still looking out the school doors where the werewolves had disappeared, stunned, along with Ali and Liv.

Sebastian stood up to face Lyn, wiping the blood that was dripping from his lip still. She looked up at him with her arms crossed. "See what you do, Giracho? The question is, why? Why take me out on a date then go and make-out with my worst nemesis? Better yet, why agree to marry me when you aren't ready to just settle down with one girl? Why do this to me?"

Sebastian chuckled. "Don't you get it, Lyn? This was my plan all along. Lead you on, make you fall in love me, then when you were hooked in my trap, bam! Revenge," he smiled evilly. "Did you actually think I was falling for you?"

"Huh..." Lyn looked down at her feet, the numbness of her body not allowing to feel any of the pain she would have if she was feeling her emotions. "And I thought you were actually changing..." she muttered under her breath.

"Don't make me laugh, Lyn!" he snickered. "You're pathetic and I'll repeat over and over again. Wedding's off, Lyn. Good luck being queen of Transylvania now," he laughed and with that, he wrapped his arm around Monica's waist and walked away.

Nothing makes sense, Lyn thought to herself. It's as if he was forced or programmed to do this to me by Monica... How could he have hurt me so?
