Book 2 chapter 4 plans in action pt 3 America here we come

As the giant Escalade rolled down the street James switched the plates back to the original ones. He then removed the bag from Harry's head.

"What the hell was that?" Harry asked

"That was our plan to get you away from the Dursley's for good. Now we're off to America and Newark nj "

"What was that that aunt petunia called you?"

"Nigger is a term used to belittle black people and comes from times of slavery in America. Now only racist people use the term."

They drove back to the hotel in silence as they thought of the next plan of action.

Once they got back to the hotel and up to their room jay called hermione and told her that Harry would be safe and sound in America until the school year started.

After that they took a portkey to the apartment in Newark where Maria and her parents were waiting for them. Right when they arrived Maria ran up to jay and kissed him before giving Harry and rick hugs.

"What now?" Maria asked

"Now we show Harry around the neighborhood as he will be staying with us for at least this summer."

Jay and rick brought Harry outside and showed him around.

"That's mr Kim's grocery." Jay said pointing at a bodega "that's where we go and get snacks and just chill. And that's mr Johnson's wash and fold that's where we do our laundry."

Just then a group of guys in burgundy walk up.

"What's up jay, rick" said the obvious leader said to them. "who the fresh meat"

"Sup roc ru" jay replied. "This is Harry Potter, a friend from school. Harry this is roc ru he is a g in mob piru a offset of the blood gang. He looks out for the kids here and makes sure we don't get in any trouble."

"Yea cause you know if you do you gonna get a beat down. Hey that bougie school y'all go to ain't that in England?"

"Well Scotland but same difference. Why"

"My little cousin Sandra got accepted to a boarding school out there. You remember Sandra right? Light skinned a little sass thinking she's all high and mighty because her white daddy came to the hood and took her mama over there with him. Well strange part is that she got her acceptance letter on her eleventh birthday just like you maybe it's the same school. If it is can y'all look out for her?."

"If it is then I got you."

"Cool bro. She Comin out here next week to visit, you know auntie shay don't want her to forget her roots."

"Hold up a tick." Harry said. "Do you mean Sandra shelling?"

"Yea why"

"Aunt Petunia used to babysit a Sandra shelling. Her dad is my uncles boss. She was the only one nice to me before I met jay and rick"

"Oh you the lil Nigga she was tellin aunt shay stories about livin in a closet?" Damn if half of what she say is true, damn you had it rough. Auntie shay don't believe it though because Sandra used to make up all kinds of stories about stuff movin on its own and shit."

As they got back jay told Linda about what roc ru said about Sandra moving stuff and that she might be a witch.

"I thought I told you not to hang out with Jason anymore. He was a good boy until he started hanging out with those bloods now it's all about selling drugs and shooting guns with him. And besides why would a nineteen year old want to hang out with a bunch of kids. I told he he's just trying to get you to join his gang. Just like he did with rick."

"Ma that's my family also they like brothers to me" rick said "and beside they the reason nothing bad happens to us. And roc just wants the best for me that's why he's glad I'm in school and not hanging in the streets."

"Well what ever what's done is done maybe you could invite shay Sandra here I would be nice to see them again. I haven't seen them since Sandra as a baby."

The rest of the week was uneventful. The next week Sandra and shay came over and jay introduced them to Maria and her family. Rick and Harry went to mr Kim's for some chips and sodas for everyone. Maria suggested that Sandra hang out with them.

"Sandra if I said the name Ollivander what would you say"

"You're a witch" Sandra said excitedly "me too oh Hogwarts will be fun mum said it would be weird not knowing anyone but I'll know you guys"

Just then Harry and rick entered the room.

"Harry" Sandra said running up to him "what are you doing here"

"Well me and jay and rick and Maria are all school chums."

"So your going to Hogwarts too? Bloody brilliant."

The rest of the month passed by with Harry having his birthday party at the end of it with hermione and the grangers in attendance
