Prolog; Tea Time

Discord, Lord of Chaos and the real reason you're probably reading this story

It was game night, or at least it should be, but his friends were busy and that was OK. He had been a little 'mift' that he had spent months on his new campaign Ou·bli·ette World, but all his plays were busy, The Lord of Chaos could handle unpredictability just fine. Spike deserves to lose his V card, even to a griffeness. Then Big Mac deserves time with his wife. Discord thought to himself with a sigh. Though I guess it's good time that I could get to know my newest friends with a tea party. As he floated through the dimensional void with a tea set and food trays in his mismatched 'hands' , his tail holding a piece of paper. "Let's see, three dimensional doors down and right of the black hole." Discord murmured as he looked around stopping only when she saw distortion. "Ah, there we go." The Draconequu said as he passed though.

The room that he came into was a massive dining room. A cozy little fire was in one corner but a gigantic round table. The sight was amazing, Not exactly my style but still tea is tea. Discord thought

"MayAhh, Discord. Soo glad of you to come." A white fuzzy cat in a waistcoat and prismatic colored eyes grinned at him. "I see that you brought soome things please, let me take these." The cat gestured as Discords tea try and food try were placed on the table. Originally it took some time for Discord to get used to Cheshire's strange purring speech and his strange speech impediment.

"Thank you Cheshire, where are the others? Or is it just us?" Discord questioned

"No, no," Cheshire purred. As he gestured again and the table grew and was set with plats, and all other things for a tea party. "They are comming, in sort, I can make the table."

"Oh, so posh." Discord teased.

"Why thank you." Cheshire smiled and made an elegant bow.

Discord then brought up his paw and ticked off his all that he brought. "I brought all manner of things; Pizza Nachos, Strawberry Upsidedown Kepl Cakes, and some actually 'singing' Ginseng tea"

"Oh, cool Discord brought Pizza Nachos." A new voice rasped as a set of draconic claws reached for the Nachos.

"Jabberwock, pawwas off." Cheshire hissed and smacked his claws away.

"But Tweedledee and Tweedledum will eat them all." Jabberwock groused. He was ruffly man shaped with arms and wings like a dragon, his human head almost rectangular and his face was gunt with mess haphazard hair, big round glasses covering his eyes.

"Not, my probblem." Cheshire hissed angrily and pointed to a chair. Dejected Jabberwock shambled to a chair.

Not long after that twelve other characters started to fill in and take their seats Some looked human dressed in various animal dress or in victorian garb. There were also animals that were unatureal large and unusual looking as well. The guests sat around the table eating, chatting and relaxing.

Discord only smiled at the cluster of creatures in front of him. They were all so different and were… well his… new friends. Yes, friends. This struck Discord as odd, he had made friends with such interesting beings. "So how is your game going?" Discord asked. Apparently the thirteen control an entire world and it was like one big O&O game. They have a world full of monsters of NPC like people, called Tians and they invite Players to live there and play in the world, Masters, without DMs to stunt their choices. It made him chuckle at such a thought that while they were here taking tea the O&O game even continued.

That got them all to stop and look at him. "Fine. Though things have been getting a little messy as of late. Mr. Frankland and his game of terror and the King of Destruction wiped out yet another landscape, again and again and again. He's driving me nuts!" Raving Humpty Dumpty is a boyish character with tiny horns and sheep fleece on his body.

"Well Discord how is it going with you?" Jabberwock asked between nash of nachos.

Discord thought about it, they all believed that he was like an O & O DM creature like them. "Oh, not really that bad. My regular plays have been busy to play my new campaign but… Well I am fine."

This caused the other thirteen to froze and stared at him. All of them seemed to be terrified at what he just said. Many were frozen in mid act, Queen hands were shaking. Caterpillar let long billows of smoke come from its mouth. Humpty Dumpty finally spoke. "That's horrible. Are you OK? I mean… Without players…" Humpty Dumpty did not let his words finish.

Discord seemed a little nervous at this and worked his mouth wanting to answer, he hadn't intended to make them scared but it was Cheshire who broke the awkwardness. "Hay, I've got an idea! Whhy not let him borrrow some of our own players. I mean wee all have a few ideeas who we could send, just noot too ah well you know?"

"I hope you don't mean Mr. Franklin? OR Doctor Flamingo?" Asked Alice.

"Noo, noo," Assured Cheshire.

"I'll agree to that if we get to send The King of Destruction there." Snapped Humpty Dumpty

"I was thinking of his brother, Ray Starling." Added Red King.

"We still should send him for good measure!" Humpty Dumpty snapped.

"Fine if only to get you to shut up about it. But who else?"

With a wave of his arm Hatter spoke up with a laugh. "Why not his whole party? Meria Adler, Rook Holmes, maybe even Figaro or possible that other sibling… I think it was Hugo Lesseps, yes a relative of Franklin, because he seems to be a good knight like figure."

Discord looked at him astonished at them. "Wait, you would like to lend me some Players from your games?"

"I know it sounds extreme," Bandersnatch growled. "But then there is the fact that you are the only visitor we've had and losing a new friend is not good for us. Besides we're only letting you borrow these players until things pick up for you."

"Yes we'll need to work on a few things on our end." Queen added. "But if we all work together, yes I'm looking at you Dormouse, and I haven't forgotten you Jabberwock."

"Discord, would you be willing for us to help you?" Jabberwock gave a sinister grin.

"Thanks, I mean this is just soo amazing for all of really want to help me? " This got the chaos gods' mind going. Maybe I can make my campaign even better. Make Ou·bli·ette World into the most amazing thing that any creature has ever played. This causes a shaft of light to strike the Draconequus like a message from above. He could only bask in the reverence before snapping back to the real world. Looking around the table at the others at the table he was surprised he then smiled.

"Right, we need some information from you and then we could work on the trans fur… Discord, do you have any ideas?" Started the Dutchess.

"A few," Discord smiled and snapped a talon and an interactive model of his work appeared and seemed to overlap the entire table. It was a complex board with all manner of beast and monsters ties, traps and riddles all ready to be used against the players. "This is Ou·bli·ette World. The main Dungeon I had in mine." Discord explained.

"Whhy we'll work on alll the things we need. But we willl be glad for anny help if you are willling to give it shoould make an innteresting expperience for all involved." Cheshire added his impend seeming to get worse denoting his excitement.

"Thank you but are you sure you all want to help me out like this?" Discord asked.

"Of course," Jabberwock broke in and then continued. "But, I have one thing I must ask before we begin."

"And what would that be?" Asked Discord Puzzled.

"Simple, What is your opinion on Atomic Firebreath?" Jabberwock gave him an even wickeder grin.

Discord returned the grin to him. "I'd say, Atomic Firebreath is great for any Kujue."
