50 years after the Clone Wars have ended, a fresh out of stasis Kix goes to the moon where the Venator went down with the 332nd on board. He's looking for something.
As he searches through the sand, Kix tries to imagine what happened. Commander Tano, Commander Rex and his brothers were all on board the Venator when it went down. They must have been traveling to Coruscant when Order 66 was initiated. He wonders if Commander Tano had been killed by the clones or by the crash. Either way Kix hopes her death was swift. The Commander had earned that much. Kix' stomach starts to twist at the thought of his fallen brothers and the former Jedi. So he pushes the thoughts away and continues on.
Kix finally finds what he's looking for buried deep in the sand. He pulls out an old clone trooper helmet. The blue paint is faded and chipped. But the Republic cog that's painted on the center of the helmet is still there. Tears fill his eyes as Kix remembers the man who used to wear this helmet with pride. As Kix touches Jesse's helmet to his forehead tears slip onto the faded blue paint.
"I'm sorry I couldn't save you brother."
