Chapter Three
Dad was missing and Sam was alone to learn who the woman in white was.
Dean studied the handcuff holding him to the table then glanced around the room. "Levarra… could use some help here?" he breathed before looking back at his father's journal and raised an eyebrow at the sight of the paper clip.
He quickly snatched it up, bending it and shoved it into the keyhole turning cautiously until the cuff popped open with a click.
Dean stood gathering was he could and shoved the journal in his coat. Dad was not here, but he left clue to where he could be.
Sneaking from the room and down the hall he carefully opened a window and climbed out to slide down the fire escape
"Calm down James bond"
He nearly screamed turning to see Levarra standing behind him arms crossed. Her thick auburn hair was pulled up into a messy bun, and she worn a soft gray hoodie over a dark V-neck. Different clothes.
"Fuck Levarra" he inhaled the scream as she raised an eyebrow. "The hell are you doing here, how'd you find me"
She inclined her head to the Station building. "You called Dean"
He furrowed his brow, turning to looking at the window then back at her. He shook his head. "never mind, look we got a problem, I need to get ahold of Sam; Dad's not here and we have a woman in white situation"
He started moving, taking ahold of her elbow to make her follow.
"Of course John's not here…this all could've been avoided if you just let me look for him myself" she growled out as Dean found a small worn out phone booth and pushed her in first before cramming in and shutting the door.
"Don't start with me Levarra" he picked up the phone and groaned before patting his pockets.
She reached into her jeans and pulled out a dime holding it out.
"Thanks" he took it, pushing it in the slot and dialed.
"Sam?" he exhaled "Yeah I'm good but we have a problem…Sam...Sam Dad's not here!"
Levarra shifted turning her head to watch the world outside the phone booth as Dean talked to his brother.
The sides of glass were beaded with rain. She narrowed her eyes as the shadows across the street seemed to shift.
She studied the shape for a minute, the form looked human but, she got towards the area of the eyes and felt her blood chill at the sight
Dean slammed the phone down, "Let's go" she blinked looking at him
"Huh?"
Dean slid the door open falling out and she followed quickly eyes watching the spot of the street, but nothing was there now.
"Levarra?"
She turned looking at Dean. "I know I was dick earlier, you coming or what?" she met his eyes, nodding
"Yeah, Yeah I'm coming" she followed the hunter as he began making his way down the street.
Levarra hung back as they reached the old farm, holding out Deans back up gun to him as he took it and made his way around. "Sam?"
She moved forward cautiously, mind on the figure from the street and eyes searching for Sam.
She sniffed and turned spotting the impala by the front of the house. Something flickered in the window.
"DEAN! FRONT SEAT!" she bellowed.
Dean turned raising the gun and squeezed the trigger.
Levarra quickly dove out of sight, the world spinning before she landed on the floorboard of the impalas back seat, just as the front bumper smashed through the house. She inhaled sharply as the car jerked to a halt her head hitting the metal of the bench seat and she collapsed holding her head. Ears ringing as the house became the battle ground.
She blinked owlishly turning over after the next few minutes passed the Woman in white was gone. And the brothers were bantering.
"Tell you what If you messed up my car, I'll kill you" Dean stated as Sam Laughed
The brothers climbed in and dean put the impala in reverse arm swinging over the bench seat, He glanced down as Sam muttered about his wounds.
Levarra's golden browns met his green and she gave a weak nod.
He exhaled nodding and began backing up.
The ride back to the college was tense, Sam insisted on going back, and not looking for Dad. They bickered until Sam won the argument.
Dean pulled the impala up to the curb and Sam climbed out, bag in hand. He turned patted the hood of the impala and walked for his apartment.
Levarra sat up running a hand through her hair and climbed over the seat settling into the passenger spot.
"ok, you can help me search for Dad" Dean rubbed his face as Levarra yawned.
"You were right, Sam is better off here" Dean sighed
Levarra rubbed her arms, a chill racing through her as Dean mumbled to himself. Looking around the chill turned into a spike of electricity in her spine.
"Dad's just going to have to suck up that I found out about you"
"Dean"
"Yeah, yeah I know"
"NO DEAN" he turned to her, her face was pale, and her eyes were pained.
"Dean it's here, The fire it's here!"
The impala doors swung open and Dean hurtled across the hood of the impala and Levarra lurched from the passenger seat the two racing across the lawn.
They reached the front of Sam's apartment, the windows glowed with firelight.
"SAM!" Dean began scaling the stairs.
Levarra reached for the railing. Something caught her throat and she choked as it tightened and her feet left the ground, she flew. Back hitting sidewalk and she slide out to the grass before it let go.
She gasped for air coughing. And pushed herself up.
She blew her bangs from her face and looked up.
"Hello princess"
Inhuman yellow eyes looked down at her.
