Kaetar took a deep breath and tightened his grip on his bow. Both Loiya and Joel were with him under the guise of a scouting mission that was occurring in the last few hours of daylight, though patrolling was nothing new to Joel or Loiya. He didn't want to say anything, despite the fact that the whole thing had to happen. Misha, Gus, Zeke, and Stefan were following but Kaetar couldn't see or hear them. They were walking near a forest so he supposed that they were in there somewhere but since he never knew where they were, he couldn't point them out. He glanced over at Joel, who was riding on his horse. Joel nodded, then took a deep breath himself. "Loiya," he started.

"Hmm?" Loiya had to stop and turn around.

"Are you working with Saira?"

Loiya stiffed and he visibly paled. Joel smirked.

"Just as Chibuike and Syrin said then, right? You disappear to update her, you lead her to us, you didn't stop Saira's attempts to capture Kaetar and apparently you tried to take Kaetar to her once. Anything more to add?" Joel asked with a smirk. To him, Loiya must have lost and Joel was thoroughly enjoying it.

"Dammit I had no choice! It's so easy for you to sit there and preach about my behaviour when you get anything you want with your father's gold! It's so easy when you aren't pulled in two directions, isn't it?" Loiya said with a growl. It was uncharacteristic anger and Kaetar couldn't recall just how often Loiya seemed truly angry. He seemed to truly hate Joel.

"I'm not mad at you!" Kaetar chimed in. "I understand it."

Loiya looked at him sadly. "Thanks but..." He inched forward to Kaetar but stopped when Joel drew his sword and held it between Kaetar and Loiya, effecting stopping Loiya in his tracks. Loiya growled and looked up. "What the heck Joel?"

"I'm not going to let you touch him!"

"You know what, Joel? How about you get off that horse of yours and challenge me? If you win, I'll leave, no questions asked. I'll go join Saira or just go home if she lets me... but if I win, Kaetar's going with Saira."

"Sure," Joel said, jumping off of his horse. Kaetar gasped. Didn't he get a say in any of this? His two friends were deciding things for him! He was a prince, not some sort of item! Just as decided he was going to get in between them, a sword was suddenly held to his neck, forcing to stop dead in his tracks. When he looked back, he saw a girl he never saw before and he was startled to see that she was actually a cat laguz. She had the bright yellow eyes of a cat, long black hair that was tied into a loose braid at her right. She also had Daein armour down her left arm, on her chest, and hips. Her right arm was covered with some sort of sleeve while she covered her legs with knee-high boots, though she also wore black shorts that exposed her thighs.

"Who are you? Our military doesn't have any laguz!"

"Name's Ummie," she said with a smirk. "And how would you know? When's the last time you set foot in Daein?"

A laguz with a sword. Really, when he brought up the idea with Joel, he didn't think he would see it so soon, he thought it was something he would have instate. He thought Zara would be the only one to fight without the use of her transformed state for some time yet here was a cat laguz with Daein armour and armed with a sword. He couldn't believe it. He doubted Ummie had the same idea Zara had – perhaps she just wanted to be shocking different and she certainly pulled it off.

Saira had to be close by then. He looked around and saw that the Daeins were waiting just off to the side. Saira got closer and smiled at Ummie.

Joel went first, swinging his sword at Loiya who blocked the attack with his lance, riding Joel's attack down along it. Joel followed up with numerous slashes that were easily blocked or dodged by Loiya. Kaetar thought it was weird that Loiya didn't even try to attack, that he would be the one on the defensive side when he was the one who challenged Joel. Maybe he was just trying to exhaust Joel? Joel jumped back, drawing his sword up in a defensive position. "For someone who proposed a challenge, you aren't doing much, are you?"

"I can end it now then, if you're so bored," Loiya mumbled, twirling the lance in his hands so that the flat end faced Joel. What did Loiya plan on doing? He sprang froward with speed that remind Kaetar of Stefan's Astra, thrusting the end of his lance into Joel's chest in thee successive hits. He jumped, twirled the lance back into its original position so that pointed end face joel, then slashed at Joel before he landed. He was knocked back, hitting the ground with a surprised cry.

"What...? How did you...?"

Loiya pointed the lance at Joel's neck, forcing him to lay down flat on his back. "Did you think you were the only one in need of a promotion? Father taught me Impale when I was twelve, the last thing he could really teach me but he said that it was against military etiquette for me to do it without being the right rank, so I held back. I was better fighter than most of the military at thirteen."

"You knew Impale since you were twelve? So your father was really something huh?" Saira asked, folding her arms in front of her chest. "But I guess that also speaks volumes about your own abilites, huh? Too bad those headaches get in the way."

"You're the cause for most of them as of late," Loiya mumbled.

"Wait, I smell another laguz... some branded too, I think. And something else that doesn't make sense to me," Ummie mumbled suddenly. The brandeds were expected, that was Zeke and Stefan she was smelling all of a sudden. But the laguz? They didn't bring one.

"Must be the rebellion. Come out! Let's duel for keeps!" Saira called out. Stefan was the first to answer, drawing his sword.

"It would be a great honour to fight with you, Ummie, if you'll turn that blade away from Kaetar's neck," Stefan said with a smirk. "I would like to see how well you actually wield that blade!" Ummie hissed and bounced, immediately slamming her sword against his. Saira filled in her place, holding onto his wrist tightly. Ummie was fast but that was to be expected of a laguz. It seemed to take Stefan just a moment to adjust to the battle, as it took a few dodges for him to adjust to her speed and to the fact that she was using her left hand to swing her sword. Kaetar had to marvel at Stefan's ability to adapt to battle because only after a few swings of her sword, he could read and block her attacks. It was a shame he didn't fight more often because he was actually really good at it.

Stefan frowned.

"You're quick but that's all you have," he muttered.

"What's that?" she said with another hiss. It seemed that no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't find an opening. Stefan blocked every move, then suddenly switch the tables on her by following her attack with one of his own. He stabbed his sword into her leg, the part that wasn't covered by the armour on her hips and her leg. She hissed in pain and stumbled backwards, bringing her sword up to defend herself.

"You have little actual skill. You couldn't have been at this for more than a few weeks. You use rely on your speed to defeat your opponent before they have an chance to hit you but now that you've met somebody who can keep up, there's hardly a thing you can do," Stefan mumbled quietly. "It's unfortunate you've decided to side with Daein, there's a lot you could learn from someone like me."

"And what? How long have you done this for?" she asked. Despite the wound on her leg, she was still trying to get lucky enough to get a hit on Stefan.

"For a long time. I lost track after a century," Stefan answered. She stabbed forward and Stefan dodged, curving around her and striking her back. She was fast but Stefan seemed faster. Kaetar couldn't tell if he was just innately so fast or if it was years of practice that brought out the speed in him. He could keep up with her before she was injured, though she was slower because of it. Ummie hissed but she didn't force herself to get up again.

Suddenly, Stefan ran again with sword in hand. He swiped at a bush and Kaetar saw two shadows jump away. He recognized one of them as Liam and he instantly thought of the laguz that Ummie smelled. The girl Kaetar didn't recognize but he wondered if she was the girl that Chibuike mentioned back in Toha. She looked pretty, with her long dark hair, but her expression was somewhat blank. She wasn't wearing much, just what appeared to be basic leather armour over an off-white shirt and matching pants.

Their appearance was enough for the other three rebels to appear. Zeke was the second one to try to attack Liam and received a hard kick to his chest, knocking him into a tree. Kaetar shook off Saira's grip on his wrist and he grabbed his bow. "What the heck are you doing here?" Loiya shouted at Liam.

"Got a job," he muttered but Kaetar could seem him smirking as Liam bounded after him. Kaetar cursed under his breath – he never seemed to be able to move whenever Liam decided that he was the sole target. He just froze. He felt like had it been anyone else, he would be able to get himself out of trouble, to at least move out of the way. However, with Liam, his legs already felt too heavy and his heart was beat fasting enough that it seemed to hurt but he couldn't move. Liam always got an advantage over him. "But I have time for fun!" He drew a knife but just as he was about to attack, Saira brought her foot up and slammed it into Liam's chest, knocking him to the ground. She grabbed the hunting knife from her belt and stabbed it downwards but Liam had recovered enough to roll out of the way.

"Not twice, bitch. You're pretty tough for a beorc though," he said with a smirk.

"She's... not the first, bastard!" For a brief moment, Kaetar had forgotten about Joel. Despite the injury he received from Loiya, he managed to crawl to Kaetar's location, and tug Liam back to the ground by the ankle. Liam didn't seem fazed. He kicked out of Joel's weakened grip and shot up quickly, stomping on Joel's wound before Joel could yank him down again. Blood flew out of Joel's mouth and Joel had to turn to his side to cough up more blood onto the ground. By the time Liam had his attention turned back to Kaetar, Saira managed to graze his arm with the hunting knife.

"Damn you're fast," she muttered.

"He's a cat laguz," Kaetar answered but he felt radiating pain from his leg immediately after. He looked down in shock to see a knife sticking out of his leg. He instinctively pulled it out while he knew it was better to keep it in, he felt as though it would cause more damage either way. He couldn't move with it in his leg if he needed to.

"Don't you ever call me that again!" he growled. "Daevala, time to make your move."

The girl, Daevala Kaetar presumed, removed something round from better her clothing and her leather armour. There was a flash of bright light and suddenly, a dragon took her spot. She wasn't shaped like Nasir – instead of being able to stand on two feet, Daevala was on all fours and as a result, looked larger than a laguz dragon. Her entire body was black except for the red on her stomach and her red in her wings. Her hands were massive, along with the pair of horns on her head.

"At first, I thought she was just Elymas' bitch but it turns out that she has some use after all! Who would have thought?"

Daevala didn't seem to care much for destruction and surged forward with speed Kaetar didn't think something so big should possess. She didn't seem interest in Kaetar and while he thought it was odd, he was thankful. For the time being, even Liam seemed distracted as she lifted one of her large, clawed hands and pressed back down. It took Kaetar a moment to realize that Loiya was right underneath her hand and he brought his lance up to defend himself. For a brief moment, Loiya struggled against her weight but it proved to be too much; the lace snapped in half and Loiya disappeared under her hand. Kaetar couldn't see what happened after that but all he knew was that he was running as fast as his leg would allow him.

"LOIYA!" he screamed. He approached the dragon but she used her other hand to swipe Kaetar away. Kaetar gasped in pain as the claws tore through his shirt and slashed at his chest. The momentum of the swipe was enough to bat him away and he ended up falling down and skidding to a halt. He didn't think they were particularly deep wounds but damn it strung. He got up again. He needed to see if Loiya was alright.

"Kaetar, stay down. You've done enough for today," Stefan mumbled. He ran. Daevala tried the same sweeping motion that got Kaetar but Stefan seemed to predict that coming and jumped, landing on her hand. From there, he jumped again, slashing his sword at her low-set head but the damage looked negligible. There was a thin red line along her snout but didn't seem deep. She growled and swiped again, this time using the hand that she used to hurt Loiya. It happened so fast that Stefan didn't even touch the ground when he was hit. He hit the ground with a loud thump but he pushed himself to his knees fairly quickly, sporting the same slash marks Kaetar had.

She turned her attention to Kaetar. For a moment, in her eyes, Kaetar could see some hesitation but with a growl, she slowly made her way over to him. "Get the fuck out of there!" he heard Saira shout as she let an arrow loose, hitting the bottom of one her hands. Kaetar moved but with the new scratches on his chest, he found hard to force himself to run.

He didn't know where he was running either but suddenly, he noticed that he was being lifted and hung over someone's shoulder. He realized that it had been Gus and being one of the only ones who stayed back, he had no injury. He was actually the perfect person to run and carry someone at the same time. He was running back towards the direction they came but suddenly, Liam decided that he wasn't done with them yet. Gus managed to stop and turn surprisingly fast and instead began running for the tree line. Misha followed.

"You can't stop me in the trees!" Liam shouted.

Gus and Misha both made it into the tree line with Liam following closely behind. With the loud stomping noise, he thought maybe Daevala was following or she was at least trying to prevent anyone else from following them into the forest.

"Here, kitty, kitty, kitty," he heard a soft voice say in a strange, demeaning way. He recognized it as Zeke and he was surprised. It was just about the meanest thing he saw Zeke do – use the opponent's weakness and just verbally pick at it. It was unusual for him. "Want to play? I can fetch a nice ball of yarn for you!"

Liam skidded a halt and turned around. Kaetar understood it. He was intentionally trying to piss Liam off as a distraction. Liam was a cat, he seemed to thrive in high places, whether it was a building or a tree - it didn't matter to him. Misha and Gus didn't have the same abilities so they couldn't possibly lose Liam in a forest, so running would achieve nothing but wasted energy. If he was distracted, they had a chance. Maybe they could just loop back around and get back to the fort.

"Keep going," Misha said. Gus nodded.

Liam had stopped following and the deeper they got into the forest, the less he could hear. Still, running on some mythical source of energy, Gus and Misha continued to run. When they became tired, they stilled carried on with a slow jog before they seemed to agree that they travelled far enough. "Can we find our way back?" Kaetar asked through gritted teeth as Gus set him down.

"We travelled a straight line here..." Gus panted. "But I didn't recognize the area the fort was in and I know we took a couple of turns getting to that spot where everything went down."

"I think I know the area," Misha mumbled in between breaths. "But if we're lost, we can just hang tight. Someone will find us."

"It'll be dark soon," Kaetar muttered with a frown. "It wouldn't easy for them to come search for us, especially since there are injuries." His leg seemed to throb at the mention of injuries. It was a bad turnout but how could Syrin possibly predict a dragon like Daevala? She didn't look like a dragon laguz and he doubted that any dragon laguz would join Crimea. What was she then? If it had just been the Daeins and maybe Liam, they would been fine, even if Joel lost the challenge. He wasn't going to let the two of them decide what he was going to do. Daevala effectively managed to make everybody discard all of their plans, just by being her.

"Then we'll just have to – shit!" Gus muttered as he looked at his outstretched hand, his palm facing up. A raindrop landed on Kaetar's head. "C'mon, we have to find something you keep you dry. To be wet right now will just make everything worse." He stepped forward but Misha stopped him.

"I'll carry him. You did enough."

The rain came fast, heavy and quite sudden. However, Misha and Gus noticed a short cliff face and ran there and they were able to wander around long enough from there to find some sort cave. It was the first cave he went in that wasn't so hot that it made him pass out for real. He shivered, though he was sure it was because of wet clothing. With great pain, he slowly shed himself of his shirt, which was only a bit better than rags at that point. He kept the necklace around his neck though since there was no safe place to put it. The only time he ever removed it was when he expected battle, in which case he had enough time to stuff somewhere like at the bottom of his quiver but he seemed to have lost that somehow, though he couldn't recall when. If the battle was sudden, he would keep it on but other than for battle, he never removed it. It provided comfort.

Gus produced a handkerchief and held it out in the rain to soak it before coming back. He wiped down the wounds across Kaetar's chest while Misha cut a window into his pants so they could access the wound there.

The treatment hurt but it was necessary – the wounds were washed to the best of their abilities and Misha used the last of her vulnerary to close them. Apparently she was the only one who had one useful, so she was the one to spread what she could on the wounds. For the most part, they were closed but Kaetar knew that if he taxed himself, the wounds were be in danger of opening again. Gus took a peek outside.

"This stinks," Gus muttered as he peeled his shirt off, revealing a lean but still toned body. "There's no dry wood for a fire either. At least it's not too cold of a night."

"No, when we dry then it'll be better," Misha mumbled. Kaetar gasped when she proceed to take her tunic off. She had support for her chest under her tunic, which was more refined than Zara's choice of clothing. When he thought about it like that, then it wasn't too bad. However, Zara's chest was more covered thanks to the bandages, so Misha was actually exposing more skin. He felt his face burn before he forced himself to calm down because it wasn't like her chest was bare or anything. He was just surprised. "Hey, don't be so shocked you two! I don't want to get sick either!"

"I didn't think you were going take your shirt off!" Gus exclaimed.

"Well I did," she muttered, tossing the article of clothing aside. "Not like I have much of a choice. As soon as it's dry, I'm putting it back on but for now, we're all going to be mature about it."

Gus and Kaetar both nodded. He was over the shock of it anyway, and it wouldn't do for any of them to get sick from wet clothing, especially when Kaetar needed to stay relatively relaxed. Gus looked to be over it to, since he didn't shy away from her nor did he look away.

"We don't have any food," Kaetar muttered.

"So our position is pretty bad right now," Misha said with a sigh.

"If the rain carries on, it'll make it hard for them to find us and it'll be hard to find food. At least water is plentiful," Kaetar muttered. Hopefully it wouldn't last into the morning. Suddenly, he was beginning to feel tired and he shivered again. Misha looked at him but then he realized she seemed to be staring at the necklace.

"Have you always had that necklace?"

"Since I was six," he answered fondly. "It was a gift."

"It looks nice," Gus admitted. "Something that Meagan would like, actually. She likes jewellery, we just can't afford stuff like that. I've been meaning to get her a nice ring too. She deserves better than the one she has now."

"My mother would know someone in Daein," Kaetar muttered with another shiver. "She knows the best tailors, the best jewellers, everything."

"I guess royalty can't settle for any less than amazing," Gus said. "It's not like we can afford it."

Kaetar shook his head. "Knowing my father and mother, they would try to find some way to repay the rebellion for keeping me safe. I don't think my father disagrees with the whole thing." He found himself oddly winded. He knew was tired and exhausted but he felt like he had to pant between words. He struggled to keep his sentences strung together. Maybe he just needed rest judging by how drained he felt.

Misha offered a weak smile. "Maybe you should get some rest. It's been a long day," she said with a bit of a sigh.

"You can get some rest too, Misha. I'm the only one armed, so it's reasonable that I be the one to stand guard for the night."

"Ah, really? A sword can't be that hard to use. We should switch part way through the night."

"What if it's someone like that crazy kid in green?"

"Then we're doomed anyway, whether it's me or you. I lasted like ten seconds and that's only because I saw what he did Zeke and Rylar so I was had a chance to react. There's only a hand of us rebels that can stand a chance and none of them here," she countered. "Wake me up to switch or I'll be mad."

Gus chuckled as he leaned against the rocky walls of their shelter. "Fine, fine, it's a deal."

Kaetar yawned as he lowered himself completely the the ground slowly, then he bunched up what was left of his shirt together with Gus' shirt and laid his head down with another shiver. He felt Misha curl up near by and he suddenly wanted a blanket. If he and Misha shared one, it would be so much warmer. He just felt so cold all of a sudden. "Misha?"

"Yeah?"

"Could you come closer?"

She laughed a little. "Aren't you spoken for?" she asked as moved close enough that their backs touched.

"I won't be if I freeze to death," he whispered back.

"It's not that cold."

"It feels like it."

Misha didn't respond to that. Instead, she rolled over and placed an arm in front of him so that her chest lined up with his back. He did feel better, a little warmer than he was. "Then we won't say anything."

When Kaetar woke up, moonlight was still creeping into their little shelter. He could see Gus standing in the entrance with his back turned towards them. By the looks of it, it was still raining. Kaetar tried to sit up but the sudden agonizing pain in his head that resulted from the simple motion forced him back to the ground. A violent shiver broke out and that was when he realized that something was horribly wrong. He wanted more sleep but he couldn't force himself back into the slumber he was torn out of thanks to the shiver and his aching head. It was a miracle he could still think somewhat clearly with the way his head hurt. He felt warm, despite the violent shiver. He called for Gus in a hoarse cry.

Gus was by his side in a second. "Kaetar?"

"I feel terrible," he mumbled.

Gus looked perplexed. "But we washed your wound. Even if it was infected, that takes a couple of days, right? Not a couple of hours?"

Poison then. Daevala must have had something in her claws. Can all dragons of her kind do that? The musing stopped when he suddenly realized what the implications were. A dragon that was never seen on Tellius before couldn't be from Tellius so that chances of someone knowing about the poison afflicting him, that wasn't the person who inflicted it on him, was close to zero. Could antitoxins do anything for him? He assumed that magic, such as the case with a restore staff or with Nasir's ability, could do the trick but how long did he have to get to them? What if it caused irreversible damage in the mean time? His heart fluttered with panic.

"Nasir... we gotta..."

In the mean time, Gus woke Misha help. "Something's wrong with Kaetar," he stated simply. He must have been trying to stay calm. Maybe Kaetar should try that too. Maybe he was making it worse with his panic. He had to be.

"Then what do we do?" Misha asked as grabbed her tunic and slipped over her head. "Should we stay here or try to find help?"

"Finding help would mean that one of us knows where we are," Gus muttered. "Otherwise, we're wasting time."

"That's... wait, this is part of a cliff. If we can get on it, then we can see where we are," Misha muttered. "I'll go since I had more rest." She didn't give Gus any time to argue. By the time he seemed to understand the plan, she was gone.

"Just hang in there, kiddo," he mumbled, placing a hand on his forehead. "Yikes, that seems to be a bad one."

Kaetar could feel it. Maybe it felt particularly bad because he really didn't remember the last time he was so sick. The last time he was poisoned, and it was a little bit of a shame that he could say he was poisoned twice, it just made him unable to move. It did not cause a fever or violent shivering. He would much rather have that poison again than to continue to suffer with the one that did make him feel so terrible.

It felt like hours had passed when Misha returned, though he knew it couldn't have taken her that long. His most obvious clue was that the moon was still out and from what he could see of the sky, that also looked unchanged. Realistically, the cliff might have been part of a really big hill, so Misha could probably just run and down it so long as there wasn't too much mud to stop her. "There's a village on the other side of the forest if we keep going the way we were going."

"No choice then. If we hurry, hopefully we won't get sick from the rain," Gus said, scooping up Kaetar and dumping him into Misha's arm. "You can carry him, I have the sword."

"Yeah, yeah, rub it in," Misha muttered. "You get to carry him next though."

"If there is a next time," Gus said with a shrug. Though both started running again, with Misha trying to hold Kaetar close. He had his arms around her neck and her tried to bury his face in her shoulder to keep his face dry. He closed his eyes and tried to find some comfort, some sort of mental escape but there was nothing to be had. He was hot, shivering, and being pelted by rain. The only true bliss he could think would be the necklace, and he was sure due for a vision, but it seemed as fickle about the past as the person who enchanted it in the first place. It was never when he wanted a vision. No it was always when it was inconvenient.

Finally, the two of them stopped. They came upon some sort of house and in the distance, Kaetar could see lights spilling from other homes in a village to too far away. The house struck hi nice little farmhouse with what appeared to be stables in the back that was part of a fenced in enclosure. Misha and Gus looked at each other and both ran to the house where Gus pounded on the door.

The man who answered had short, wavy bluish-green hair. He was a little shorter than Misha, though Misha was tall for a woman so the man was probably of average height. He was probably just barely an adult though, judging by his face. He blinked. "Misha?"

"Andrew?"

"Oh shit! Come in, get out of the rain!" Neither Gus or Misha needed to be told twice. In a flurry of motion and voices, a stranger had Kaetar and he was pulled into a separate room where he was placed on the bed. A warm bed. Gus and Misha disappeared. A large woman who looked a lot like the man who answered the door, with her light green hair in a messy bun, came in and without introduction, was drying Kaetar off roughly with a towel. Then she was inspecting him, poking and prodding his body in various places, feeling his head for his temperature, checking the barely healed wounds on his chest and leg, and she was feeling the inside of his wrists. The who ordeal made him feel dizzy and nauseous and he desperately wanted a familiar face by his side.

By the time Gus made an appearance, Kaetar was sitting up thanks to the women's help and drinking some sort of tea. When the cup was pulled away from his lips, Kaetar slunk into the covers. Somehow, it reminded him of home. It was probably the warm feeling he had from the covers and reminded him of when in the winter, Loiya had a bad habit of keeping the window open. Kaetar, with the very many blankets he kept on his bed in the winter, didn't feel much of the cold breeze until he woke up in the morning with a chill on his face. A reshuffle of his blankets and pulling them over his head usually delivered a comfortable warm until Loiya shut the window.

Loiya... what the heck had happened to him? Did he survive the dragon's attack? And what about Joel? What about Zeke, the one person they really owed their escape to. He was the one who warded Liam off, directing the man's sadistic nature to himself. Not to mention Stefan, who surely poisoned as well. He hadn't thought of the battle but with sleeping finally welcoming him back, it was the only thing he could think of. What became of everybody? How badly did this hurt the rebellion?

"It's okay, go to sleep. You need it," the women said. Kaetar closed his eyes.

So I meant to upload this earlier, but things happened, like donating blood and staying asleep for most of the day after. I can't seem to get enough sleep lately and losing a whole 488mL of blood so didn't help with that.

Anyway, don't worry about me adding EVEN MORE characters! I really like Ummie, and she's kind of based off of a family friend's cat and sort of named after her too, but we won't be seeing too much of her. I'm bummed out that I thought of a cool character after forty chapters and there's not a lot of room for her. That's just how the hired laguz are. I have a lot of ideas and nowhere to put them!

And hi there, Daevala! Interesting note, she was originally submitted as a Bael, and I thought that was really cool, but unfortunately, Baels are harder to work with. I wanted to keep something Bael-like about her, so that's why she has the poisoned claws. As far as I know, our other dragon friends can't use poison.

And please, if you have more comments about the possibility of Ike's descendant being in the story, then do comment. I would put up a poll but I'm pretty sure that only members can vote and that's unfair to the guests and to those who are too lazy to login - it's okay, I feel you - so reviews are the best option. However, you are also free to PM me.
