Japan, 2048. The day when humanity lost Earth.
The plant-like kaiju known as Gojira thundered ashore and looked to the distant airport, where the humans were. He narrowed his blue eyes and started toward it. He didn't get very far before a blast of heat slammed into his back, burning his hide. He looked up and spotted the firey form of Rodan hovering over him. "Gojira, you will not harm the humans," he said. "Leave Rodan, this is between me and the humans," he said. Rodan's burning eyes narrowed. "Sorry, but the TRUE king told me to defend them," he said. "Then die," Gojira said, blue energy crackling across his shield.
But before he could blow Rodan to bits, a purple blur shot by, slashing his leg and stopping his charge. Megaguirus slowed to a halt, her stinger primed and ready. Rodan shot down and slammed his wing into Gojira's face, throwing up sparks and staggering him. The plant growled before grabbing Rodan by his leg and slamming him to the beach. Megaguirus shot in and slashed her claws across his chest, carving trenches in his skin.
Gojira growled and grabbed for her, but Megaguirus shot away. Rodan climbed to his taloned feet and took to the air. The Titan looped around and sank his talons into the tallest dorsal plate and rocked back and forth, trying to tear it off. Gojira's tail-tipped with a sharp spine-curled up to try and stab him. Rodan let go and took off. Energy funneled into Megagurius' chest from her wings and tail. With a crack of thunder, she fired an orange sphere, hitting Gojira in the chest. Rodan followed up by clapping his wings together, sending a pulse of heat toward his foe. The resulting explosion shrouded the plant in smoke.
Rodan and Megaguirus peered at the cloud, waiting. Suddenly, a long tail shot out of the smoke and smacked them out of the air. The two hit the ground hard, sending sand flying. Gojira lumbered out of the smoke, completely unharmed thanks to the shield covering his body. The two were unable to fight, they needed rest. It was a good thing they were only the first wave of defense.
Gojira crashed through the buildings of Tokyo, focused on the airport. Suddenly a trio of roars filled the air. Gorosaurus, Manda, and Varan emerged from behind the buildings, glaring daggers at him. Gojira growled and braced for another battle. Gorosaurus ran forward, jaws open wide. Gojira slammed his fist into the dino's jaw, knocking him away and into a building, destroying it. Varan charged in, slashing Gojira across the chest. Gojira uppercut him away and got hit in the chest by a fireball from Manda, who darted in, jaws open. Gojira just swatted him into a building, taking him out of the fight.
Gorosaurus snapped his jaws on Gojira's forearm, sinking his sharp teeth onto his...skin? Gorosaurus started blasting fireballs at close range, toasting his hide. Gojira pried his jaws off and uppercut him away, only to be hit in the neck by Varan's Heat Beam, burning his hide. Gojira growled, what was with these kaiju and fire?
Gorosaurus recovered and moved closer before leaning back on his tail and unleashing his trademark Kangaroo Kick, which staggered Gojira. The plant growled and grabbed both kaiju by their throats and slammed their heads together, knocking them both out cold. He tossed them aside and continued on his way.
Once he entered the urban district, the ground started rumbling. Erupting from the ground was Anguirus, El Gusano Gigante, Baragon, Ts-Eh-Go, and Battra(Larvae). Gojira growled and prepared for the third fight today. Anguirus barreled in first, baring his teeth. Gojira swung his fist, only for Anguirus to chomp down on his arm. Gojira growled and yanked his arm into the air, Anguirus STILL holding on. El Gusano Gigante shot forward and headbutted him in the gut, knocking the breath out of Gojira. He tore Anguirus off and tossed him away, then kicked El Gusano Gigante away. Ts-Eh-Go scurried forward and sank his stinger into his leg, pumping venom into his body.
Gojira yanked the stinger out and tossed Ts-Eh-Go away, only to be hit in the gut by Baragon's Magma Heat Ray. His spines crackled with energy, but before he could get any farther, he was hit in the neck by an energy sphere from Battra's horn, forcing him to stop his charging. El Gusano Gigante charged in again, only to be sent flying by a tail-whip, taking her out of the fight. Ts-Eh-Go shot a stream of acid from his stinger, melting into Gojira's shoulder. The plant swung his tail again, smacking him away and taking Ts-Eh-Go out of the fight as well.
Anguirus charged forward and spun around, slamming his spiny clubbed tail into Gojira's leg, carving trenches in his hide. Battra tunneled underground as Baragon leaped into the air. The horned dinosaur fell and slashed his claws across Gojira's face. Battra emerged from the ground and rammed Gojira's gut, discharging energy as he did so. Gojira growled and knocked him away. Anguirus lashed out, raking his claws across Gojira's gut, only to be punched away. Baragon jumped on his back and fired his Magma Heat Ray, burning his dorsal plates. Gojira grabbed his tail and threw him off. Battra fired his Horn Beam, blowing pieces off Gojira's chest.
Gojira kicked him away only to be attacked by Anguirus, who sank his teeth into his arm. Gojira slammed his fist into his chest, but Anguirus still held on. Baragon joined in, biting and slashing his leg. Gojira went to punch him, only for Baragon's Magma Heat Ray to detonate on his fist, burning it. Gojira pried Anguirus's jaws off and tossed him aside before grabbing the charging Battra and throwing him. The armored caterpillar hit the ground hard enough to put him out of the fight.
Baragon fired his Magma Heat Ray and Anguirus fired his Radioactive Fire, burning Gojira, who advanced on the kaiju. Baragon leaped forward, sinking his horn into Gojira's gut before slashing at his hide. Anguirus curled into a ball and bounced off Gojira's face, staggering him. The plant recovered and punched Baragon away, taking him out of the fight. Gojira swung hit tail at Anguirus, who leaped over it and curled up again, slamming into Gojira's back, staggering him again. Anguirus landed and fired his Radioactive Fire at Gojira's leg, burning it.
Gojira growled and thundered towards the dino, who howled and charged him. The plant attempted to stomp on Anguirus's head and kill him, only for the armored kaiju to move his head out of the way and slash his leg. Gojira snarled and kicked him away, cracking his jaw. Anguirus got up and curled up again, slamming into Gojira's chest, forcing him to step back. Anguirus bounced away and slammed into his side, but before he could bounce away, Gojira smacked him aside.
Anguirus hit the ground hard and charged Gojira, who turned to face him. Anguirus turned around and jumped backward, slamming his spiny carapace into Gojira's front and sliding down, raking his spines down his hide. Gojira bellowed and slammed both fists on Anguirus's armored back, trying to crack it. His armored back held up, and Gojira only hurt his hands. Anguirus spun around and smashed his tail into Gojira's face. He followed up by putting some distance between him and Gojira before firing his Radioactive Fire, burning the plant's neck. Energy crackled across his body and collected in front of his snout.
As the beam was fired, Anguirus jumped out of the way, but the shockwave from the explosion lifted him off his feet and sent him hurtling through the air. Anguirus groaned as he hit the ground before passing out.
Gojira, at last, made it to the airport, but there was one tiny problem. EVERY Earth Defender was between him and the humans, including the ones he had just knocked out. But they didn't attack. Gojira narrowed his blue eyes when the reason approached him from behind. Godzilla, King of the Monsters, roared a battle cry, and he, along with the kaiju, charged. Gojira turned and locked hands with Godzilla, only to be blasted in the back by Zilla Jr and Quetzalcoatl.
Running to one of the ships was a young boy by the name of Haruo Sakaki. He watched in fear as Rodan was sent tumbling toward them. Before they were crushed, Rodan dug his talons into the ground and skidded to a stop. He looked over his shoulder and sighed in relief. No humans hurt. A blue flash drew his attention to one of the ships crashing down and exploding in a giant fireball. Rodan's sharp ears caught a child's voice cry out for his parents and his fiery eyes filled with rage. He kicked off and flew at Gojira. Dagahra and Kiryu fired their beams, blasting chunks out of Gojira's hide.
Gojira snarled when he saw the ship take off. He tried to blast it out of the sky, but Kamacuras and Scylla slammed their claws on his head before Titanosaurus, C-Rex, Behemoth, and King Caeser rammed into him. Now that the humans were safe, there was no holding back. They could win for sure...right?
The next morning, the beaten, battered, and wounded Earth Defenders retreated, and Gojira roared in victory, for he was the King now.
