Chapter one:
I lie in my boyfriends' lap, staring up into his gorgeous eyes that reflect my love for him. We're sitting underneath the stars, underneath a sea of possibilities.
Ginny lies opposite me, curled up next to Hermione. They're kissing, and it's beautiful to watch. A portal to love. Hermione casts a spell that wraps her girlfriend in a warm blanket, and my attention falls back to me, Harry Potter, and my magical boyfriend. Draco. Malfoy.
"Malfoy."
"Potter"
I look up at him. He bends his head down. I'm lost in a kiss. I could never get tired of kissing Draco. Not that I'd ever tell him that, obviously.
Hours later, Draco is pulling me to my feet. Hermione and Ginny are silhouettes against the sunrise, hand in hand.
"Time to go, H. Hermione and Ginny are already on their way back home."
I warm Draco's hand in my own as we stroll home. Through Diagon Alley, through Hogwarts. We get to the dorms, where we stop in to pick up our twin sons, Xavier and Jakob, for the holidays. We take the flying car back home. Hermione, Ginny and their triplet daughters – Calliope, Ariadne and Daphne – sit waiting for us.
Our house is a ten-bedroom, eleven-bathroom, four storey mansion that was built using magic. It can't be seen by muggles.
On the top floor, there are two master bedrooms, both with ensuites. One is Hermione and Ginny's, and the other belongs to me and Draco.
The third floor is where all the kids live. Ariadne, Calliope and Daphne have a room each that are joined with three bathrooms, to form a full circle. Xavier and Jakob also have a room each, both containing a bathroom, that are joined by their shared closet. They also have a large study that contains five separate desks, as well as a movie theatre.
The second floor contains an open-plan living and dining room, two bathrooms, the spare bedroom (basically Ron's bedroom, seen as both of his best friends and his sister live here), the music room, and our favourite room of the house – The Magic Room. It's where we store things like broomsticks, potions and the kids' Hogwarts uniforms. The walls are aligned with three Gryffindor cloaks and one Slytherin cloak – our old ones. There is also a cupboard that contains our Hogwarts mischief (The Marauder's Map, potions, quidditch trophies, Hermione's (stolen) books, the invisibility cloak, the resurrection stone and The Elder Wand being just a few of the most significant items), that Hermione spelled shut so that the kids can't access it, although I'm pretty sure that Calliope, Ariadne and Daphne have found the spell to open it, them being almost as smart as Hermione herself.
The first floor is what Xavier and Jakob named the 'boring' floor. It is where the kitchen and laundry room are.
The ground floor is just a hallway, a conservatory and a garage (where the flying car lives). However, it also leads to the garden, which occupies a pool, hot tub and splash park. The kids may go to Hogwarts, but we live in Australia and use magic to get between the two, so it is hot enough for all of that.
That night, as I was saying goodnight to Xavier, Draco came into the room and kissed the top of my head.
"Ew!" Xavier exclaimed.
Draco and I laughed. We really did love our sons.
When we went in to say goodnight to Jakob, we decided to annoy him by furiously kissing before we were even out of his room.
"Ew!" His reaction was exactly the same as his twin brother's.
"Just an experiment to see how you would react, Jakob." I never had stopped loving hearing Draco's voice. It was so pure, so full of loving, menacing magic. Draco kissed Jakob's forehead.
"Don't kiss me after you just kissed Dad, Papa."
"Okay. Good night, Jakob. Papa and I love you!" And I walked out of my son's room, my boyfriend in tow.
Draco fell asleep quickly that night, as I had hoped. I got out of bed, careful not to wake the dreaming mess next to me, and headed to Hermione and Ginny's room.
"Hey girls."
"Hey, Harry." Ginny and I may have 'dated' at Hogwarts, but it was never awkward after we broke up, probably because we're both gay now.
It was after three am by the time I decided I needed to get some sleep. I had a big day tomorrow. Stepping out of Hermione and Ginny's room, I saw a small figure. Calliope.
"Calliope. What are you doing eavesdropping?"
Calliope didn't come out.
"Accio Calliope!" And there she was, straining against the magic, at my heels.
"H-Harry… I'm sorry. I really am, but I couldn't sleep, and I heard footsteps upstairs so I came to see if anyone was awake so I could have someone to talk to. Then I heard voices from Maman and Mum's room, so I wanted to know what you were talking about. I didn't mean to eavesdrop."
"O-"
"So, when's the wedding?" Calliope wouldn't let me get a word in edgeways.
"Cal – we're not even engaged yet. That happens tomorrow, providing he says yes. Now go to bed before I tell your parents that I found you eavesdropping."
