Easy ways to wake up a sleepy seaweed brain
1. Gently
"Seaweed brain...Seaweed brain..." Annabeth was in the Poseidon cabin trying to, yes you got it right, wake Percy.
Percy mumbled something intelligible and then turned to face the wall.
Annabeth sighed. This is going to be a long morning.
2. Tickle him
Annabeth positioned herself at the end of the bed, right at Percy's feet. Already imagining how Percy will wake, she started tickling him with all her might.
But Percy was as still as a rock, still deep in his sleep. Huh, Seaweed brain is not ticklish. I guess you learn new things every day.
3. Alarm him
Annabeth, standing slightly outside the cabin, started screaming at the top of her lungs, "Percy, help me! A monster is attacking me!" Annabeth could defeat all kinds of monsters by herself, but Percy sometimes was overprotective, which was kind of annoying but also sweet, at the same time. That should wake him.
Percy switched sides muttering something along the lines '5 more minutes'.
Annabeth started pacing the ground, irritated, when she looked around. A dozen of campers, including Clarisse, Katie, Piper, the Stolls and Thalia, looked at her in pure amusement. She flashed a deep shade of red, "Huh-I was just-I was...".
"You were what?" asked Thalia, loving the show and Annabeth's obvious embarrassment.
"Trying to wake up Percy." said Annabeth, glaring at her friend.
The others started laughing. "Oh no, don't. One time he was late at breakfast and Chiron send me to wake him. Let's just say when we arrived at breakfast Percy was grumpy and my clothes were soaked in water." said Connor.
More laughter followed. "Oh, well I will take the risk. And now if you all will excuse me, I still have to wake him up." But how?
4. Threaten him
"Perseus Jackson! This is the last time I will ask you to wake up. Got it?! NOW GET UP!
And it worked. Percy opened his eyes a little, but what he said next was just plain random. "What are you doing here Tooth fairy?" After that he fell back asleep.
Annabeth was looking at Percy as she was contemplating the best way to kill her boyfriend.
5. Beg him
"Percy, please! I don't know what to do anymore. Get up, please get up. The breakfast had already started and...and". The breakfast.
6. Abuse of his weakness
"No! It's gone! It is all gone! The BLUE food!"
Try to guess what happened next. Percy's eyes widened, you could see pure horror in his eyes.
He got dressed so fast that he would make Hermes, the God of travellers and thieves, jealous. In a second he was already running and shouting, "Who did it? Why didn't anyone tell me?".
"Wait for me!" shouted Annabeth.
Mission completed
Well, this is another one-shot finished. I had this random idea for two days, now, so I decided to write it.
