New Girl In Sabertooth & New Time For Crime
After getting some brownies from a cafe in Sekichiku Town and taking the train to the thriving town known as Saffron, Minerva went to the left side of town with Lucy walking behind her while Yukino stayed on the left side of Lucy. Minerva was taking Lucy to the prestigious guild known as Sabertooth, which wasn't very far from the town's train station, and she looked back at Lucy for a moment to see that the green-haired girl seemed amazed by this new town. Saffron had been somewhat close to the mountains, unlike how the Fairy Tail guild was near some grassy hills and the nice town of Magnolia, but Lucy wouldn't have to worry about any rockslides or avalanches decimating the town or Sabertooth.
Minerva wasted no time with taking Lucy to the Sabertooth guild, which was located at the very end of this cobblestone street that was in a light shade of yellow, and Lucy soon got to see how the exterior of her new guild looked quite beautiful. There was an orange rectangular sign in front of the guild while the insignia of Sabertooth in a gold color was beautifully painted into the center of the sign, and the Sabertooth guild itself made Lucy softly smile. The Sabertooth guild appeared to be a gold building with several small and elegant towers protruding from its upper part, along with a lower part of the building that was larger while it had several windows and rooms, but the most surprising sight was that the entire building was topped by a golden statue that portrayed a saber-toothed cat with its jaws open. The only part of the building to not be gold was the pair of brown front doors, however.
Yukino gave Lucy a nice smile while really hoping that she would like being in the Sabertooth guild, since she viewed the interior of the guild to be just as nice as the exterior of it, and the women walked towards the guild's front doors. Minerva got to the doors first, before hastily pushing them open, and some of the members who sat down at the brown round tables were glad to see that she came back from her mission. However, some of the people in the guildhall started to look quite curious about the girl who seemed to be in awe at how there were grey statues of saber-tooth tigers on the left and right sides of the entrance.
Two of the males who felt the most curious about the green-haired girl were Sting Eucliffe and Rogue Cheney, the prominent Twin Dragons of Sabertooth who respectively wielded types of magic focusing on light and shadows, and they got up from their table that was near the bar while this situation seemed interesting. Sting recalled how he stamped Yukino's purple flyer that pertained to her job of getting a poisonous butterfly for a client, so he smiled calmly and assumed that the new girl was a cute person who wanted an autograph from the supposedly best dragon slayer in Fiore.
"Well, who's this cutie? If you wanted to meet the famous Sting Eucliffe to get an autograph or take some photos together, then feel happy that Minerva brought you here before I went out on a job with Rogue." Sting asked with a calm look on his face, before looking cocky about his fame that was still immense after the Grand Magic Games.
Minerva sternly explained to Sting while looking serious, folding her arms, "She's here to join Sabertooth and work hard until she faints, Sting. This girl's body got stolen by a thief, along with the golden keys that she can't wield as greatly as our dear Yukino could, and I found her trapped in a cocoon made by someone's plants."
Lucy told Sting and Rogue with a somewhat timid facial expression, hoping they would be accepting of her, "My name is Lucy Heartfilia, and it's really nice to meet you two."
At that moment, Sting's blue eyes were filled with shock while Rogue seemed utterly surprised by what this girl just said. Sting remembered seeing a girl named Lucy Heartfilia fight for one of Fairy Tail's teams and battle against Flare Corona from the Raven Tail guild on the first day of the Grand Magic Games, but she looked totally different now. Since Sting was now the guild master of Sabertooth, he could make the decision to either accept someone into his guild or turn them away. He glanced at Lucy's new appearance to see that she no longer had a guild mark, which must've really made her feel upset, and Sting would definitely welcome her into Sabertooth.
Lucy looked at the guildhall of Sabertooth to see that the brown round tables sat on fancy red carpeting that matched the guild's golden walls while a nice portrait of Sting doing an awesome pose with his red Exceed named Lector was framed above the doorway that led to the office of the guild master, and there was also a bar located at the back of the guildhall. Lucy noticed a red-haired girl working behind the bar while she had fair skin and hazel brown eyes, and she seemed just as sweet as Mirajane Strauss. The request board was located to the left of the bar, similar to Fairy Tail, and the upstairs area featured a library where mages such as Rufus Lohr could read many books.
Sting turned around for a moment to look at Lector while using his left hand to make the gesture of stamping Sabertooth's mark, which prompted the red cat to give Sting a confident smile before flying into Sting's office to get the stamp mark and color kit, and he wanted Lucy to feel like she was totally welcomed in Sabertooth. Sting was about to go ask the barmaid to take out five delicious bottles of cola for the group to enjoy while they would probably do a job together tomorrow, but Minerva surprised Sting by suddenly using her magic to warp Lucy directly across from the request board. Minerva warped herself there, too, and she looked at the various flyers on the board.
Lucy watched Minerva push the S-Class jobs aside, since she wouldn't put Lucy into intense danger so early on in her new career as a mage of Sabertooth, and Minerva's lips soon formed a confident smile from seeing a pink flyer with a yellow pin keeping it against the board. Minerva unpinned the flyer to see that it had the nice reward of 370,000 jewels, and Lucy smiled in response to Minerva seeming happy. Minerva handed the flyer to Lucy for her to see that her first task would be to enjoy posing as a model for a fashion show that was occurring in Sekichiku Town, and Lucy's cheeks blushed pink for a moment at the thought of wearing a nice outfit while acting like she was a model.
"Sting-kun, I've got the stamp and assortment of colors for you!" Lector stated with a happy smile on his face while flying towards Sting with a stamp and gold color kit in his hands.
That caused Sting to respond calmly, as he pointed with the index finger of his left hand to direct Lector to where Lucy stood with Minerva, "The new girl needs to be marked with our insignia, Lector, and her name is Lucy."
Lector nicely asked Lucy while flying over to her, "Lucy-san, where do you want your guild mark and what color should it be in?"
Lucy replied kindly as she turned to face Lector, recalling how she had seen Yukino's insignia of Sabertooth, "It would be nice to have my guild mark on the right side of my waist, and I'd prefer it to be emerald green."
As Lector flew down to Lucy's waist and opened up the gold kit to get the color for her insignia, Minerva seemed quite interested about why Lucy chose to get her guild mark in such a nice color. Lucy's guild mark wouldn't be pink like a type of delicious alcohol, but the green color was close to the beautiful greenness of Minerva's eyes. She watched Lector stamp the guild mark on the right side of Lucy's waist, officially making her be a mage working for the Sabertooth guild, and Minerva would be glad to handle this job with Lucy when morning came again.
Since Minerva already ate some brownies with Lucy to make them both have their hunger be satisfied, she would be heading home to her apartment in Saffron Town. However, Minerva couldn't just leave Lucy without a place to stay while her doppelganger probably found enjoyment in living at Lucy's residence in Magnolia. Minerva thought it would be quite appropriate for Lucy to be living with her, since they were going to be teammates, and she didn't want Lucy to ever be slacking off with any of the other wizards. Minerva glanced over at the new mage of Sabertooth while Lucy admired her new guild mark, and Lucy looked up for a moment to see Minerva smiling at her with some pleasure in her eyes.
Meanwhile, at the Fairy Tail guild...
After she had spent some time sleeping in the bed that was in Lucy's apartment, Haruka showed up to the guild again with a scheming look on her face while she noticed that hardly anyone was inside. The only mages in the guild were Mirajane and Natsu, since the fire dragon slayer recently woke up to discover that his teammates went out of the Fairy Tail guild without even saying anything, and a few hours of rest managed to help Natsu be cured of his motion sickness. Natsu went to the bar while Haruka made her way over to the request board, and she would gladly see what jobs were available.
Haruka's cocoa brown eyes quickly took notice of a green flyer on the board, the reward on the flyer stating that the mage who finished this task would receive 700,000 jewels for themselves. That prompted the antagonist to smirk evilly while she noticed the job's description, and all that Haruka had to do was find an awesome treasure that resided in the distant town of Huálán. The thief had heard little rumors of how there were some magnificent blue treasures in that particular town, and the rumor of how the wizards there weren't as strong as the princess only made Haruka seem more intrigued.
She unpinned the green flyer from the request board, which was heard by Natsu, and Haruka turned around to look at Mirajane. She noticed earlier that the white-haired barmaid stamped a job for a certain alcohol-loving woman to take, so Haruka did not want to make herself seem very suspicious. She closed her eyes while happily smiling as she walked over to the counter, and Haruka placed the flyer next to a brown beer mug that had been cleaned recently. Mirajane gave Lucy a cute smile, being quite happy to see her, and she gently picked up the flyer with her left hand.
Mirajane's blue eyes examined the flyer for a few moments, before noticing something that made her feel very curious, and the oldest Strauss sibling handed the flyer back to Lucy while wondering if she was able to meet a little requirement. The green flyer's job description stated that the client wanted to see an S-Class wizard handle their trouble, since they didn't want an incompetent person handling this mission, and Haruka currently posed as someone who was not an S-Class wizard. However, she had a good way to get past that problem.
"I'm taking this job, and Erza will be accompanying me. We'll surely get it completed in a short amount of time!" Haruka told Mirajane in a calm tone, before looking quite optimistic about this new job.
Mira replied with a cheerful smile on her face, viewing Lucy to want some serious redemption, "Good luck, Lucy! Things may have gone wrong for your team today, but I can feel that your ambition will make you work harder."
Haruka responded while feigning an innocent smile, before comically running out of the guild in a hurry, "Thank you so much! Anyway, Erza's probably wondering if I'll ever come back to Magnolia's train station. Goodbye!"
The blonde-haired villain ran out of the guild as fast as she possibly could while tightly gripping the flyer in her right hand, and she quickly went down the steps of they grey staircase that were at the end of a dirt path. Haruka's feigned smile began to be a genuine one, as she felt incredibly glad to get away with that lie, and she applied some Wind Magic to her feet for the purpose of making herself run to the train station at incredibly high speeds. As the mint green aura surrounded her feet, Haruka began to smirk.
Not only could she take a job that would give her high amounts of jewels, but the antagonist could make Lucy Heartfilia be portrayed as Fairy Tail's surprisingly evil mage. Coming from a strong dark guild made Haruka view her actions to not be bad, as being self-serving and vicious seemed to be normal behavior in the Verdant Flower guild, and she didn't even care if the real Lucy died before finding a way to reverse Haruka's spell. From the perspective of the thief, keeping herself out of the Magic Council's hands while causing some trouble would be a very fun activity.
Haruka thought about how the Mint Green Orb greatly boosted her overall power while her spells were also strengthened to a high level, and she wouldn't mind seeing if the Cerulean Blue Orb truly existed in the distant town of Huálán. Making herself have more power for the purpose of having plenty of destructive enjoyment caused Haruka to just giggle evilly while running to the train station, and she hoped to become an extremely powerful thief who could take revenge on her former guild. Haruka felt glad to have told the guild master that she would be leaving, and they would have no reason to ever expect that she would return.
As Haruka hastily ran through the town of Magnolia, she went past a certain brown-haired woman who wore a blue lacy bra with red Capri pants to match. The large gust of wind made Cana accidentally drop her green bottle of liquor, but she felt glad that only the last few drops of it were on the ground because of how she drank the entire bottle earlier to celebrate how she finished her job. Still, Cana took some steps back to avoid all of the green fragments of glass that scattered across the ground. She would gladly pick them all up and throw them away to prevent anyone else from getting cuts on their feet, but Cana felt quite curious about what had just occurred.
"Where in the world did that gust of wind come from?" Cana thought to herself while looking curious, picking up the shards of the bottle as she ignored some posters of Team Fairy Tail B that were blown off of the shops that wanted to advertise the Grand Magic Games.
Haruka thought to herself with a scheming smirk on her face, seeing the train start to be within sight, "In just a few hours, I'll enjoy causing some havoc in Huálán Town."
She continued to run while allowing her speed to create powerful gusts of wind that sent some people whirling from how they were nearly knocked off-balance by Haruka's windy bursts, and Haruka wasted no time with dashing into the train. Huálán was the location for one of the train's nightly stops to refuel, and Haruka sat down in one of the red seats that was bordered by gold trim. She still held the flyer in her hand while eliciting some soft giggles at how she managed to get away with her little stunt of illegally taking an S-Class job, and Haruka felt like fate made this day be perfect for her.
Erza was currently resting at her house while she wouldn't even be here to get in Haruka's way of stealing treasure, and neither Gray or Natsu would try to bother her right now. Unlike Haruka's new life, they didn't have to pay seventy-thousand jewels every month to keep living in a nice apartment. Haruka could keep taking jobs to get as much money as she wanted, but that would really be dependent on this job being successful. Haruka's lips began to form a smirk that displayed arrogance, and she perceived working for a legal guild to never be difficult.
15 minutes later, in Saffron Town...
After saying goodbye to her teammates, Minerva went out of Sabertooth and held Lucy's right hand with her left hand while Minerva took Lucy to her apartment that was near some cute shops in the town of Saffron. Minerva led Lucy up to the second floor of the two-story apartment house that had golden walls with sky blue bricking around the dark blue arched windows, and she smiled while calmly opening the door to her apartment for Lucy to see that Minerva's bedroom was around the same size as the rooms that she had seen in the Fairy Hills dormitory that was for the female mages.
Lucy walked inside to see that the apartment had brown hard wood floors, along with an elegant blue couch that was next to the mocha brown coffee table, and a square kitchen table in the nice color of cerulean blue had two light blue chairs around the left and right sides. Minerva walked into the apartment while being glad that Lucy wouldn't mess with the yellow curtains that were in front the arched windows, and her eyes looked straight at the doorway that led into an adjacent room. Lucy followed Minerva into that room, and she gasped in awe at the nice decor.
Minerva had a four-poster bed that had a comforter on the mattress while the comforter was in a regular shade of blue, and the bed seemed large enough to only fit two people. Minerva enjoyed having Yukino over on nights where they would drink alcohol together to celebrate great successes on certain missions, especially since that led to some romantic nights where Yukino would obediently massage Minerva's body while that caused Minerva to feel quite pleasured, but she started to frown a bit at Lucy. The younger girl was definitely not Yukino, and Minerva currently couldn't see herself dating Lucy.
She looked over at the bathroom, which was somewhat large, and the white-tiled floor was accompanied by a large showering area that had five shower heads for the girls to enjoy tons of hot water. Minerva also allowed Lucy to notice the rectangular bathtub that was surrounded by grey stone bricks for the water to constantly retain its high amount of heat, and there was also a sink in the bathroom. Even though Lucy seemed to really like how Minerva had such a nice place, especially with how she had a cherry red desk next to a pink bookcase, Minerva continued to frown as she proceeded to put the index finger of her left hand against Lucy's lips.
"Listen, Lucy Heartfilia. You're just a newbie to Sabertooth, and I only have you as part of my team because that will keep you from thinking you can just hang around Sabertooth like a leech. I'll help you get some magic and make you push yourself way past the limits of your stamina, but don't think for a second that I'm your best friend." Minerva sternly told her while narrowing her green eyes, informing Lucy that they were going to work incredibly hard.
Lucy responded to Minerva with determination in her mint green eyes while moving Minerva's finger away with her right hand, speaking with confidence, "I won't be a burden to you, Minerva. I promise you that I'm going to be a strong Sabertooth wizard, and you'll be surprised at how I won't be weak anymore as time goes on!"
Minerva asked Lucy in a calm tone, before having a slight smile on her face, "Oh, really? Well, I'll be interested to see how you fare without all those golden keys."
As the white moonlight of the moon came through the windows to hit certain areas of the floor, Minerva turned around and unzipped the back of her blue dress. It fell to the floor, leaving Minerva in her undergarments, and she climbed into the bed while ignoring how Lucy's cheeks blushed pink from seeing her sleep in a lacy white bra with lacy white panties to match. Minerva stayed on the right side of the bed that was near a cerulean blue dresser that contained more of her bras and panties, and she firmly pointed at the left side of the bed for Lucy to sleep there.
Lucy simply went around to the left side of the bed while trying to make the blush on her cheeks fade, and she slowly got into the bed before gently pulling down her green booty shorts. Since the red alarm clock on Minerva's desk claimed that the current time was 12:10 a.m. at night, Lucy wouldn't even bother asking Minerva if she had any spare clothes for her to wear. Lucy may not have liked the idea of continuing to wear Haruka's clothes, but that option was more favorable than being bare in the forest after such a crazy day.
She looked over at Minerva while the blush slowly began to fade from her cheeks, and Lucy got to hear Minerva quickly fall asleep. The stern woman let out a soft breath, and Lucy lightly made the fingertips of her right hand touch Minerva's back. Lucy tried to summon up her magical power again, hoping that she could possibly use a healing spell, but Lucy's eyes became Kelly green again while she winced in pain. Lucy truly felt pain from not only lacking any magical energy right now, but the physical pain and emotional pain took its toll on her body to where she closed her eyes and passed out from exhaustion.
How was Chapter 3? Did you like it? Lucy is now a mage of Sabertooth, and she's on Minerva's team. Lucy may be living in Minerva's apartment, too, but Minerva refuses to be friends with her. However, they could start having a friendship as the story progresses. Also, in response to a message I got, this story will definitely have lemon scenes. Anyway, what shall happen on Lucy's first job with Minerva? What type of magic shall Lucy learn? What does Minerva surprisingly deem to be cute? Standby for the update!
