Chapter 1 - The Trio

The three men walked together in the forest, wearing different colored chitons. These chitons were out of place, looked different. They were not like the ones the mortals were used to seeing. No, these chitons were the clothing of powerful warriors, warriors on their way to battle. The man on the left had a sky blue chiton that had several lightning patterns on it. The man's black hair was calm and neat. He had a strong figure, almost like a bodybuilder. His eyes were an electric blue. The man on the right had black hair that was completely out of control. His chiton was completely black, except for patterns of skulls and bones on it. He wasn't as built as the man on the left, but he definitely was impressive. His eyes were a black, they almost looked like some type of marble. The middle guy was clearly the leader, as his face itself clearly displayed power. He had the build of a swimmer, but that did not keep him from standing tall and strong. His hair was black and messy, but not as bad as the man on the right's. His chiton was a sea green, decorated with waves and tridents. His eyes were a powerful sea green.

The men continued walking, until they reached the edge of the ground. Maybe 100 feet below, there was a camp of monsters. Not only did the camp radiate the power of the monsters, it radiated the power of something even more than that. However, the man in the middle just grinned. "Fulgur, Bonescraper, how do you suppose we do this?" He asked. The man on the left, Fulgur, replied "I don't know, Fluctus, why don't you figure it out?" Bonescraper rolled his eyes, "If you're done arguing, ladies, we have a situation on our hands." Fluctus nodded in agreement. "Right. Wing it then." Around them, the ground began to shake. Then, the sky darkened as lightning flashed across it. The nearby sea began to roar violently, waves crashing down. A mini hurricane began to form around Fluctus, covering him entirely. Lightning flashed down, striking Fulgur. Darkness began to encase Bonescraper until he was no longer visible. Then, in the blink of an eye, power exploded outwards from them.

When they were visible again, and as the monsters saw them, they began to shake a little from fear. The men were surrounded by different auras. Their hair was floating a little from their own power. All their eyes were dangerous and powerful, glowing completely of their normal color. Fulgur's eyes glowing the complete electric blue, Bonescraper's eyes glowing their complete black, and as for Fluctus, his eyes glowed their dangerous sea green, ready to slay anything that stood in his path. They were holding their respective weapons, the weapons of demigods. Fluctus held a glowing blue trident, Bonescraper a glowing black sword, and Fulgur a glowing, electric blue lightning bolt. They jumped down, landing right in the middle of the monsters. Three men, looking similar, in powerful forms like the newly arrived demigods, walked out, grinning evilly. Fluctus grinned. "Xerivalt, Orestes, and Hunter. Looking as derailed as ever. Still can't get over the fact you two have cool evil names, then Hunter over here is just Hunter." His voice was extremely powerful, sounding like a god. The others would sound similar, in their own voices. The man called Hunter gave Fluctus a demon glare, which Xerivalt simply laughed. "My my my, look what the cat dragged in. What would you be here for?" "To stick my lightning bolt up your ass." Fulgur said.

Xerivalt just rolled his eyes. "Annoying as ever. I give you credit for it. Though, to fight us, you will have to defeat all our monsters." At this, Bonescraper scoffed. "Too scared to fight us yourselves until your little monsters take off some of our energy?" There was no response from the enemy as they backed away, and the monsters surged forward, though some reluctantly. Fluctus simply grinned "Small warm up." With that, he launched off, his trident in his hand. Waves crashed down into the clearing, killing monsters left and right as he unleashed his fury with his trident, destroying them. Fulgur flew up into the air, the wind carrying him. He slammed into the ground, a huge lightning bolt striking the ground and killing several monsters with the explosion. Bonescraper launched into action, shadow traveling to easily catch monsters off guard. All three continued fighting, monsters being flung right and left. The monsters screamed as they were destroyed. It was only a minute until the only sign of the monsters was their dust.

The trio turned back to their enemy, grinning. The clearing was in flames from their 'little warm up.' The enemy trio just returned the grin. They summoned their weapons, and launched at their enemy. Xerivalt pursued Fluctus, Orestes attacked Fulgur, and Hunter flew towards Bonescraper, riding the wind. The fight began, and they immediately branched off. Bonescraper threw his sword, knocking Hunter out of the air. As Hunter landed on his feet, Bonescraper summoned his sword back to him and slashed at Hunter, which was deflected by the lightning bolt he was holding. He tried to blast Bone, but he was too quick, falling into a shadow and appearing behind Hunter. Hunter whirled around as Bone kicked him in the face, sending him backwards. As Bone tried to leap towards Hunter, he pulled up his lightning bolt and blasted Bone back, giving himself the time to get up. He ran at Bone as he rose to his feet, and tried to stab him. Bone deflected it, and then they locked into a tight duel, Hunter using his bolt like a sword. Lightning flashed out as Hunter tried again to blast him, giving Bone the opportunity to get duck under Hunter's arm and grab it, yanking it back and out of place. Hunter screamed as he was kicked in the ass and then thrown against a tree and blasted with Bone's sword. Skeletal hands rose out of the ground and held him in place as Bone approached him.

Fulgur and Orestes were locked in an intense fight. Neither one could land a good hit on each other. Fulgur threw his bolt, missing Orestes. As Orestes charged him with his trident while Fulgur was weaponless, he grinned. Perfect opportunity. Fulgur summoned the bolt back to his hand, and as it came back, it hit Orestes right in the back, exploding and causing him to be sent flying off into the ground, leaving a small crater. The bolt flew back into Fulgur's hand and he flew up into the air, and then slammed down on top of Orestes, his lightning bolt almost hitting him directly in the face. Unfortunately, Orestes managed to deflect it right above his head with his trident, temporarily making the bolt stuck. This provided the opportunity for Orestes to hit Fulgur hard in the stomach with the side of the prongs on his trident, sending Fulgur into a tree, smashing the back of his head against the it. That obviously hurt, and caused him to black out for a moment, but he got back up, only to be hit once again in the face by Orestes. He was sent to the ground on his back. As Orestes prepared to stab him, Fulgur's bolt appeared in his hand and he threw it right at Orestes, blasting him. Fulgur gave him no time to counter, and swung his bolt like a baseball bat right into the back of Orestes' head, knocking him out cold.

The last fight was Fluctus vs Xerivalt. Fluctus was fast and powerful, but Xerivalt gave him no time to take a lead. Fluctus hit Xerivalt with a wave as he tried to blast him with a black fireball. Xerivalt, however, was getting extremely annoyed with all the waves, so he screamed, sending fire spiraling out and evaporating a lot of the water. Fluctus began to summon more water back from the nearby river, but it wouldn't arrive in time to immediately help him. He tried to laser Xerivalt, but Xerivalt jumped into a shadow and appeared behind Fluctus, kicking him straight in the balls. "SON OF A BITCH!" Fluctus yelled in pain as Xerivalt grabbed him by the back of his chiton and chucked him. Fluctus held his manhood for a moment, before rolling out of the way as Xerivalt plowed his sword into the ground. Fluctus jumped up and summoned his trident back to his hand, and then blasted Xerivalt with an explosive laser. As Xerivalt tried to stand up, Fluctus attacked, slicing a decent cut on his arm. This only made Xerivalt mad, and he threw fire right at Fluctus, lighting his chiton on fire for a moment. The water arrived just in time, dousing him. He used it to pick up a thrashing Xerivalt out of the air, and trap him. He almost had him knocked out, but he managed to get himself out by sending fire flying out of his hands, which propelled him out of the water sphere. He hit the ground, coughing and spluttering. He then growled at Fluctus. "This isn't over." He disappeared into a shadow, reappearing and grabbing Hunter, then appearing and grabbing Orestes. "YOU WILL ALL PERISH!" With that, he disappeared into a shadow as Fulgur tried to blast him.

"DAMN IT!" Fulgur yelled, looking at the spot they disappeared into. Fluctus seemed to be thinking as he and Bone walked over to Fulgur. "Something was off. They weren't as strong as usual. That fight was too quick, and too easy." Fluctus said, to which both Fulgur and Bone nodded. They knew too, though they didn't want to admit it. They wanted to take some pride in the fact they managed to easily defeat Xerivalt, Orestes and Hunter, but knew they shouldn't let their guard down like that. "It's possible they were trying to force us to drop our guard, so that next time we underestimate them." Bone said. Fluctus went to reply, but had no time to as an auburn haired woman walking into the clearing. Following her was a group of women, otherwise known as the Hunters of Artemis. The trio bowed to the goddess. "Lady Artemis." They said in unison. Their godly like state wore off, causing their eyes and hair to go back to normal, and their auras to disappear. Artemis just gave them disgusted looks. Fluctus assumed it was because they were males. "You stole our hunt, boy." She snarled at Fluctus, knowing he was the unofficial leader. Artemis had been keeping an eye on the group, which the trio knew about, seeing as they could sense her energy following them, along with her hunters. "Snooze you lose, my lady." Fluctus said with a cocky grin on his face. This only caused Artemis to glare angrily, before taking a deep breath and giving them an annoyed look.

"Unfortunately, I am here for something else. I have come here to make a temporary.. alliance." She said, seeming to choose her words carefully. Immediately, the trio narrowed their eyes, which even caused some of the hunters to move back a little. The trio was pretty terrifying together, especially when they did stuff like that in unison. Artemis, however, didn't even wince, or move an inch for that matter. "What is this alliance for?" Fulgur questioned. He didn't seem all there, though. He had his eyes on a certain hunter, which the hunter noticed and drew her knives. "An alliance means not to castrate them, Zoe." Artemis said, and the hunter sighed, sheathing her knives. Zoe still gave Fulgur an angry glare. Bone was looking at a certain hunter, but less obvious, so she didn't notice. "Now, this alliance is to take out the rival gang against you. They are starting to cause issues with the gods, meaning it is my job to eliminate the monsters. You three seem to be good at fighting the enemy trio. This means our alliance could be strong enough to eliminate their gang." Fluctus looked to Fulgur and Bone, and they all began to speak telepathically. Yes, they had the ability. They were a pretty powerful trio after all.

'Is this a trick?' Fulgur asked telepathically. 'I doubt it. Artemis has the ability to right out kill us, so if she wanted to kill us, there's no reason for her to do it indirectly.' Bone said. Fluctus, however, had a different opinion. 'We have little choice in this. If we don't accept, they may hang us by our feet and castrate us. Our best move is to agree to this, and hope we can finish it quickly and move on.' Fulgur and Bone nodded telepathically. Fluctus nodded at Artemis and said "We would be honored to, my lady." Artemis nodded back and said "We will need to know your real names." They introduced themselves, and Artemis shook her head. "I am not stupid. Greek demigods would not be named in Latin. As for 'Bone', only a god who hit their head too hard would name their baby that." Fluctus and Fulgur laughed as Bone glared. After they stopped laughing, Fulgur said "I am Xander, son of Zeus." Bone went next. "I am Tenebris, son of Hades." Last was Fluctus. He stepped forward.

"I am Perseus, son of Poseidon."
