Sorry for the long wait til the next chapter. I had finals in school and focused mostly on those. However, it is Summer break now and quarantine is in effect so I am ready to write and finish the story. Enjoy.
Billy Hill awoke to the sound of his phone ringing at 5 am on the morning of October 29th. He was shirtless and sweating. He had the nightmare that a car was coming straight towards him, honking. He yelled out Jamie's name then he awoke. He reached for the phone and he said hello but groggily and waking up.
"Bill, you better get down here quick."
"Why Marge?"
Marge was the elderly lady that ran reports for Billy. He had been the new Sheriff of Haddonfield after moving away for many years. He returned when his mother died less than a year ago and he never left her house. He outgrew his stuttering at about age 16. He hadn't talked to Andy or Jamie since the night when he was a kid. The night Michael and Chucky had attacked.
"Just come on" she said without any tolerance.
"Alright, I'm coming damn it." Billy replied then hung up.
He heard the sounds of some grunting and groaning noises and turned around to see his husband Mark waking up from the noises.
"Billy, what are you doing awake at 5 am?"
"It's work. I gotta head down to the station. Get some sleep." Billy said before he walked over to Mark and kissed him on the head. Mark nodded and smiled as he fell down to sleep.
When Billy arrived at the station it went from frantic to quietness. Every officer, including Marge, stared at him in complete silence.
"Well what the hell? You all look like you've seen a ghost. Evidently, I have too so that's why I'm experienced with it."
"Bill," Marge said with a scared look on her face, "Michael Myers escaped last night. He's killed two people already. A guard and a teenage boy who was changing a tire."
Bill froze. He lost all emotion on his face and started to shiver in fear. He remembered the car and the man in the mask. Michael Myers was back. He heard about the incidents that occured about four years ago and was ready to face him one last time. Just not alone.
"Have you checked the old Myers house?" Bill asked the deputies. "HUH?! The one place he always ends up to and you all are standing here lollygagging like some imbeciles. Go find Myers now! You two go to the Myers house. Marge call the county police and tell them to get any guard to block all exits." Bill said pointing to two deputies and then turning around to Marge. They all agreed.
As they were doing this, Billy pulled out an old piece of paper with a certain number on it that said to call if Michael Myers or Chucky were ever to was mailed to him a day after his sheriff title was given to him. Someone knew Billy returned to Haddonfield. He was not sure if it was Jamie, Andy, or Sally. Either way he needed to do it quick.
The phone dialed, and Jamie answered on the other end, but Bill did not recognize her adult voice.
"Whoever this is, my name is Billy Hill, and Michael Myers has returned to Haddonfield."
"Billy. Oh my god. It's Jamie. Andy and I will be on our way. I'm sure Chucky helped."
