"So Daria?" Jane asked while wiping the blood off her face, "How do you feel with your new dark powers?"
"uh..." Daria breathed while giving a thousand-yard-stare at the pile of corpses in front of them, "I feel pretty good... I feel like I'm... invincible rather than invisible, you know?"
"Aren't you glad you joined the 'dark side' so to speak?" Elsie asked from behind them, idly tossing a skinless human head back and forth.
"I am now." Daria replied, beginning to feel more sure of herself, "But are we like vampires, or zombies or what?"
Nearby Trent had finished off a leg from a guy from the pile and stopped gnawing on the bones to reply, "Not sure bout that myself... Maybe we're some sort of modified Japanese demon, or something."
Jane shrugged her shoulders, "I stopped worrying about it weeks ago. Granted I'm still not sure who turned me or why, but I've just been going with it and it hasn't failed me so far."
Elsie nodded, "Yeah, but at the rate we're going we'll have either drained, eaten, or otherwise killed for the hell of it, everyone in town in a month or so. It's bound to draw attention... and for some reason I can't bring myself to care anymore."
Elsie then flung herself at the pile of bodies, Daria struggled to remember who exactly they had grabbed for this excursion, in the middle of the frenzy of hunger memory tended to be a fleeting thing. But she was pretty sure they had grabbed Sandi and her family along with a few drifters and a couple random asshats that showed up every now and then to the Zon.
Ever since Jane had Turned her into whatever the fuck they were now a few days prior, Daria found herself caring less and less about the humans around her in terms of their 'humanity'.
They were basically walking pizzas and sodas to her now.
Even her parents and her sister seemed less real to her now, just a convenient cover while she hunted and fed.
"I'm pretty sure that the old me would be horrified at what is happening now." Daria thought to herself as she knelt down and scoop out an eyeball out of Linda's head and popped in her mouth like a grape. The flavor exploded in her mouth like a juicy fruit, making her want more, so she grabbed Linda's other eye and ate it.
Did the twitching mean she was still alive, or was that just Linda's nervous system having a random fit? It was hard to care anymore.
Plus she had seen Jane display some pretty freaky abilities, like super strength, speed, and even a little telekinesis. But Jane was sure that all of them would get these abilities and so much more the older they got, and more human flesh and blood they consumed.
"Hey Jayne?" Trent spoke up, tossing the bone to the side, "You know where Tom is?"
"He's getting some more grub..."
"God you are AWESOME for a rich kid!" Kevin Thompson roared as the Limo he and several guys from the football team rolled on.
"Yeah I know." Tom Sloane replied while handing one of the idiots another bottle of vodka.
He then glanced at the one guy from the Lawndale Lions that wasn't indulging himself to excess and thought, "Jane is going to be so happy at the chance to turn Mack into one of us."
Tom smirked as Mack took another sip of his beer, not realizing that Tom had added a small amount of his blood to it earlier, ensuring that the others wouldn't kill Mack for his meat and blood on sight, instead letting their new 'Mistress' claim Mack for herself, either to turn him or consume him herself.
Outside of the Lane's house stood a girl in a trench coat, her pigtails flew behind her in the wind, giving her a badass look to go with the determination on her face.
"Ok you fuckers," Stacy Rowe hissed, drawing a SIG Pro semi-automatic and making sure she had enough spare ammo. "It's time for you to meet the real Stacy Rowe."
"...And that's how season six was supposed to start." Tracy Grandstaff explained to her date, "However the show got canceled before we could get to the good stuff."
