Chapter 3

Rapunzel found herself in a familiar tower, No, not again…. She thought, as she was looking around she saw the last person she wanted to see, Gothel.

"Hello flower, it's been a while" Gothel grinned as she approached Rapunzel, who backed away in fear.

"Stay away from me!" She yelled Gothel laughed as she got closer to her.

"Oh come on flower, I only want… your hair" But as Gothel said the last word her voice changed to a familiar deep male one. As Gothel pinned Rapunzel to the wall, she formed changed to…

"K-Kreston?!" The man who had pinned her was tall and muscular, he had long black hair tied in a ponytail he also had black eyes and a mustache.

"Where are you going little sundrop" Kreston laughed as Rapunzel tried to struggle and break free from his grip but soon found out that she was chained. Kreston laughed at her miserable attempts to break free.

Kreston summoned the former King and Queen with a snap of his fingers chained right in front of Rapunzel.

"Mom, Dad!" Rapunzel screamed when she saw them, it's been so long, her parents were staring at her with fear in their eyes. Kreston smiled as he moved closer to the King and Queen, he watched as Rapunzel struggled to break free again tears streaming down her face.

"Leave them alone!" Rapunzel yelled even though she knew it was hopeless but she didn't want to go through the same pain again. Kreston, of course, didn't listen, he used his sword to stab first her father and almost instantly her mother. Rapunzel screamed in agony as she watched her parents fall dead again.

But Kreston wasn't done, he snapped his fingers making the former King and Queen's bodies disappeared and he brought four new ones. Eugene, Eden, Ian, and…

"C-Cass?" Rapunzel cried out, this was new, this was the first time in fifteen years she was seeing her big sister again. Cassandra opened her eyes and looked at her but instead of fear, she was looking at her with anger and disappointment.

"I lost everything because of you" Cass hissed, Kreston watched as Cassandra broke her chains, her form changed, she now had her turquoise hair and eyes and her black-rock armor, just like she did all those years ago when she had taken the moonstone.

Cassandra approached Rapunzel with a murderous look on her face, Kreston was next to her and he was smiling mischievously. Raps stared at Cass, tears streaming down her face

"C-Cass… don't"

"She won't listen to you," Kreston told her indeed Cassandra didn't listen, she grabbed Rapunzel by her neck choking her, Cass was staring at her former friend with hatred just like she did all those years ago.

"P-Please, C-Cass, I… n-need you" Rapunzel stammered

"You might need me, but I don't no one does, all you do is ruin people's lives, which is why I am going to end yours" Cassandra spat, Rapunzel closed her eyes waiting for her to strike her but it never came,

Rapunzel's eyes jolted open, she was breathing heavily, she looked around and found herself in her bedroom, Rapunzel sighed it was just another nightmare, she tried to get up but failed, she was dragged back in the bed by a chain attached to her left hand and was chained to the bed.

Kreston had done this as a punishment, he had found out that Eden had left the castle and he wanted to make sure that she wouldn't escape as well. After receiving a good amount of beating from his hands he chained her in her own bedroom leaving her to cry in her sleep.

"Cass…" She murmured, this was the first time in ages Cassandra had been part of her nightmares, maybe it was because the former Captain of the guard and Cassandra's adoptive father was executed a few days ago because he tried to help her and Eden.

Oh, how she missed her, Cassandra was the only person close to her who was still alive and they hadn't contacted each other for the last five years. The last time they did, Cass was in Arendelle and she was about to become Lieutenant there, Arendelle had their own war to fight and Cass alongside with Queen Anna and her sister would lead the battle so this is why Rapunzel didn't tell her about Corona's war she didn't want to ruin her moment again and besides if she had been here she would have been killed alongside with her parents, Eugene and Varian and so many other innocent people.

Rapunzel knew there was no hope for her, she had given up on herself a long time ago she just hoped Ian and Eden were safe, Eden would probably look for Cass since she is her idol but would Cass even want to help? Rapunzel was convinced that if Cassandra finds out about her father's death and why he died she would hate her again and she would have every right to.

"I-I-I'm so sorry Cass, this is all my fault." Rapunzel broke down in tears, she couldn't take it, seeing Cass hating her again was Rapunzel's worst nightmare.

Rapunzel hugged her knees and sat on her bed, she could feel the cold chain in her arm that was attached to her bed. She missed her parents, she missed Eugene, She missed Eden, Ian and of course, she missed Cass. She used to be the girl who had everything, and now, she had nothing.

Rapunzel heard footsteps and a few seconds later her bedroom's door opened, it was Kreston, he entered her room and approached her angrily, Rapunzel stared at him trying to show a brave face in her attempt to hide how terrified she truly was. This man was capable of anything and now that Eden was gone, she was completely at his mercy.

"Hello blondie" He mocked, Kreston knew that this was how Eugene called her and he enjoyed using this nickname just to break her heart even more than it already was.

"W-What do you want?" Rapunzel questioned as Kreston approached her, he was still angry.

"Your daughter is nowhere to be found, you and I HAD a deal remember?" Kreston spat,

"I already told you, I don't know where she went, she was mad at me and…"

"Cut the bullshit! You are just trying to defend her but don't worry, I will break you" Kreston was now inches away from Rapunzel's face, he pointed a dagger on her neck, Rapunzel gulped. He had never been this mad before.

"Guards! Take her to the dungeons, chain her on the ceiling and leave her with no food and water for a week, I will then visit her, alone" Kreston ordered some guards who were nearby, they came and unchained Rapunzel from her bed but dragged her roughly from her shoulders with no mercy, Rapunzel tried to fight back but failed

"Quiet!" One of the guards yelled at her and punched her in the stomach, Rapunzel stopped struggling and fell on the ground gasping from the pain. Another guard chained her hand again and dragged her all the way to the dungeons. This time, Rapunzel didn't fight back.

Once they were on the dungeons, a guard chained her hands and attached them on the ceiling. Rapunzel was glaring at them angrily.

"Now be a good princess and wait for Kreston" The guard taunted before locking the cell's door, leaving Rapunzel alone.

"Eden, I-Ian, I'm sorry, I-I hope you are safe….Cass…t-take care of them…" she whispered, wishing her words would get to them.

A few moments pass and she saw Kreston entering her cell. He had a wicked smile plastered on his face which Rapunzel didn't like at all. She also noticed the candle he was holding, and the belt around his waist, packed with different kinds of knives.

Kreston slowly approached Rapunzel, she was staring at him angrily. Rapunzel expected him to cut her with one of his knives but Kreston had something else in mind. When he was close enough he pulled Rapunzel who struggled to break free close to him and forced her into a passionate kiss, Rapunzel's eyes widened with shock, Kreston had never kissed her before at least, not like this.

Rapunzel could feel, Kreston's cold hands touching her in inappropriate parts of her body, he was stroking them and she didn't like that at all. She was determined not to give him the satisfaction that she liked it because she didn't. Once Kreston stopped kissing her he removed her chains from the ceiling and pinned her to the wall. He then tried to remove her dress.

"P-Please no, a-anything but that…." Rapunzel begged she knew what he wanted to do to her. Rapunzel struggles to break free but Kreston's grip is to strong, he rips out her dress leaving her naked, Rapunzel closed her eyes, she couldn't watch, Kreston punched her in the stomach to stop her struggling, Rapunzel gasped in pain.

Tears were now streaming Rapunzel's cheeks she whined softly as Kreston, was now pressing her stomach with his hand.

"P-Please, d-don't do this" Rapunzel muttered, but her pleadings didn't stop him, they only made him laugh at her miserable state.

"I am going to make you scream so loud, that the entire kingdom will hear your suffering" He mocked her, Kreston then picked one of his sharpest knives and slowly cut Rapunzel's stomach, Rapunzel tried hard not to scream, she just couldn't hold it inside, Kreston was pushing the knife deeper, she felt the blood coming out, she screamed.

Kreston stopped, he dropped his knife to the ground Rapunzel thought that he was actually showing her mercy, but no, Kreston had other ideas. Rapunzel closed her eyes tightly, she didn't want to watch. She felt an unbearable pain that made her let out an ear-raping scream.

Moments passed, Kreston finally stopped, He was no longer holding Rapunzel, he let her fall on her knees, weak, and blood coming from her stomach. Her eyes were red from crying. Kreston grabbed her chains and attached them to the ceiling again.

Rapunzel was now a mess, her dress was torn apart, she was half-naked, her stomach was bleeding and her eyes were red from tears.

Kreston left the cell leaving Rapunzel alone to cry in her misery.

"Treat her wound, I don't want her to die from blood loss, at least yet, but leave her with no food and water for the week" He ordered the guard who was outside. The guard nodded as he took the cell's keys from Kreston.

The guard, Stan, wasn't one of Kreston's guards but he used to be in the Coronian royal guard. He knew the princess and the old royal family, he hated Kreston especially when he was torturing Rapunzel.

Stan entered the cell and was shocked with what he saw, there she was Princess Rapunzel hanging from the ceiling, her eyes were red from crying, her dress was torn apart and she was bleeding.

Rapunzel glared at him, her eyes were filled with fear thinking he was going to hurt her too.

"P-Please, d-don't h-hurt me…"She murmured, Stan's eyes softened as he approached the princess,

"It's okay, I am not going to hurt you, I am here to help" He reassured the terrified Rapunzel. He had brought a bucket with water and a towel alongside with some bandages for her wound.

"S-Stan?" Rapunzel recognized him. Stan was one of the few remaining guards who were still alive and on her side.

"It's going to be okay princess, you're safe now I promise" Stan comforted her again. Stan used the wet towel to clean Rapunzel's wound. She flinched from the pain and also the thought that he would actually harm her. After cleaning the wound Stan covered it carefully with bandages he didn't want to hurt the princess more.

"I-I-I want C-Cass…" Rapunzel murmured, Stan stared at her with sadness, he knew that Cassandra was the only one who could actually help Rapunzel right now but didn't know how to get her.

"She'll come back, princess… One day" He comforted her

Little did he know, that Cassandra was already in Corona, and was preparing a rescuing mission with the Rebellion …

And Boom, I feel so bad for Raps right now, but don't worry big sis is coming to the rescue, soon. Anyways I hope you like the chapter… it's darker than the rest and the story will become a lot darker… be aware! heh
