As Drag walked in the main center of Veridian city with his mother he noticed Nurse Joy at the main desk. It was Somewhat slow due to most children waiting on their exam results before they can start their journeys. It wasn't uncommon to register Pokémon beforehand, as the system would automatically update the status of the new trainers and any Pokémon, they may have the each time the trainer visits a Pokecenter. As he walked to the counter a gentle voice surprised him "Hello my name is nurse joy how may I help you today."
The Nurse Joy's and Officer Jenny's have an interesting history. DNA test have found some similarities with Ditto and Riolu. Rumor is that one of their ancestors was experimented on by an evil wizard in an attempt to be reborn and live forever. The two families are one of the few well know bloodline clans as their bloodline only makes their children look like copies of their parents and only the females carry this trait.
No amount of practice prepared Drag for this, all confidence when out the window. Even though he reincarnated he was still ten and he was uncertain on how Nurse Joy would react when she saw he had two Eevee's. After some consideration he realized that Joy's and Jenny's were know for being incorruptible and often reported directly to the league so she would unlikely give away important information to prying ears, such as Team Rocket. Noticing his hesitation, Emerald whacked her son on the head with a 'Thump.'
"My name is Drag and I'd like to register some Pokémon. I'm not a trainer yet but I took the test, I should get the exam results by the end of the month"
Nurse joy just smiled "Please fill the form on the screen I'll need to see your Pokémon and Id card. Since you are underage, we will need you mother to sign on the line under co-owner, this can be changed at any time once you are a registered trainer. If you are caught battling without a trainer license you will be fined and your Pokémon, possibly Confiscated. If any your Pokémon need any special attention let me know." The form was relatively simple requiring the Name of the Pokémon(op), species, standard personal information, the date, location caught, and condition the Pokémon was found in.
"Here are my Pokémon, the one with a tilted ear is grace the other on is Joy. I found them near a gutter hungry and covered in filth so I'd like to make sure they are check for any underlying conditions." Nurse Joy left with a nod. The form was filled out and nurse joy returned in half an hour with each of the pokeballs resting a a form containing the status of each one.

Drags mother had already signed the form and told him to be home on time for dinner before she left. Turning to Nurse Joy "Is it possible for me to take some breeder qualification tests. I don't plan on going into the field right away, and even if I do fail I think it would be good to know what I need to work on." Joy was slightly surprised at Drags request but there was nothing that prohibits people from taking the test again after six months pass.
"Alright Drag Follow me to a testing room. Once you input your ID and Choose which Tests you would like to take bring me a list so I can process the fee's afterwards you have one hour for each test. No Pokémon can be out at that time. The results will be sent to you address after a week. While Pokémon Breeders are given most of the same responsibilities as a trainer, they are unable to battle with Pokémon that they have not qualified for." Professionalism at its finest. Pokémon were actually a matriarchy and most male Pokémon would not start the act unless a female showed interest.
Drag eventually decided to take the Eevee line, Kanto Vulpix Line, Alola Vulpix Line, and the Bass line which included Feebas, non-evolution, and most single-evolution Fish Pokémon. For example, Magikarp was not included due to the Gyarados evolution being difficult to handle. Total cost 700P which was most of his available money. Stopping by a Pokemart to buy a large bag of normal type food took away the rest of his savings.
Since Drag wanted to avoid getting any attention from Team Rocket before meeting Ash the areas in which he could train his Eevee's were limited. Going to a public place would automatically gain attention, anywhere with private facilities required a few and if they had cameras there was a chance that the footage could be sold. This left him with only on real option which was his mother's treadmill and Machop's weight set. She only used it on the weekend when she didn't work.
Joy went first with a small weight tied to her back to increase endurance, speed and power. It took close to half an hour before she was replaced with Grace and given a brushing. After Grace had her turn it was nearing evening so they spend the rest of the time watching old battles with Drag commenting on what he thinks they could learn from it. With the addition to his new family he almost decided to abandon his heist until he heard that Damien's father was ordering him a special package for getting his trainer license, he couldn't resist bragging which store they shopped at. Drag was smiling for the rest of the day.
Early in the morning Drag left wearing dark cloths which were concealed in a light red jacket he wore over them. Once hiding in the shadows of the alley he changed and began to wait for the truck. Security was lax around the Pokemart in question, no cameras near the loading area and the truck was left unattended for nearly thirty minutes once it was loaded while they dealt with whatever they did inside. The truck doors were left open as usual and Drag took his chance. Using his agility he got into the truck and began reading the labels he found the one he was looking for early on close to the entrance, Delivery to Damien Ace

With a quick bulk up he grabbed the box, it was decently heavy weighing close to forty pounds and took off. An unexpected difficulty was getting the box down into the manhole without dropping it once he reached the bottom it took nearly twice as long to reach his destination because he had to stop and take a break every once in a while, to catch his breath and reapply his bulk up. Although he didn't see any Grimer along the way Rattata took notice of him this time many just sniffed a little to see if there was food in the box and then left him alone, any others just ignored him outright.
Hoisting the box back up was twice as difficult requiring him to go up once to open the grate and then back down to bring the box up. Once he was in the alley, he wore his jacket again and looked around for a large box to hide the package in. once he reached his apartment, he put the box in his room and took care of all the evidence of his trip just like the first time. What proceeded this could only be described as a B class film excerpt.
"Muahahaha, that was easier than I thought." A young boy no more than 10 years old sits alone in a room with two Eevee's asleep on top of a red blanket on the bed. It wasn't a bad room, but by no means was it luxurious. The wallpaper worn with only a dresser, bed, and surprisingly a large bookcase filled with books many having seen better days. Before him a box. In this box was another box. The laughter would make sense should one read the logo, but alas the boy was alone both in his room and in the apartment. Black hair as deep as midnight wearing dark clothing that seemed to blend with the shadows present in the room. His eyes glowing red as he carefully opened his prize before him was an assortment of packages and on top, a list.

Holding up a Poke ball, the boy smiling showing off his slightly large than normal canine teeth. He couldn't help but thank Damien for his generous donation, willing or otherwise. TM's were reusable but if they ever got damaged, they would be unusable. A Tm case could carry them safely and any cases that were Silver or above in classification came with the attachment that taught the moves by attaching them to an occupied Pokeball. A SC20 meant it was Silver Grade and could carry up to twenty Tm at a time.
Destroying the evidence, that came first then tomorrow he would begin. As he cleared up and began to hide the more incriminating items so they wouldn't be easily found. Drag began to address his Pokémon "Grace, Joy. I know there are many choices for your evolutions but I personally want at least one of you to evolve into an Ice type Glaceon. The other options are Grass type Leafeon, Electric type Jolteon, Water Type Vaporeon, Fire type Flareon, Physic type Espeon, Dark type Umbreon, and Fairy type Sylveon. I personally would choose either a Umbreon or Espeon as they are hard to find typing. Fairy is also difficult to find but usually end up being healers or support Pokémon."
Drag wrote down each symbol and told than what they stood for "While I can't promise it will be easy, I am sure I can evolve you to any on these types successfully." As the two conversed in Pokespeech for a while Grace came forward first and placed her paw on Ice. Drag smiled as he said "Ice type Pokémon have the ability to survive cold places were many can't travel safely they also are strong against dragon types and although weak against fire and rock they tend to have the ability to learn water moves." Next Joy came up and chose Psychic "Being part of the mind arts trio tends to allow telepathy which can allow them to speak in one's mind. Most Physic can also learn moves that can hard to defend against."
"For Glaceon an Ice stone in a snow region will allow you to evolve. Espeon is intense emotions usually about one's trainer at midday. If it is an unhappy emotion it can cause you to rampage so I want you to consider what you focus on. We can work on moves tomorrow to help you prepare."
(In my opinion the only reason Espeon doesn't have teleport in its move set is because it was considered a low-level move in the game that was only useful for returning to town when you Pokémon were about to faint. Since it has great power for battle in the anime it will be learnable to most physic types. Each generation has different Tm numbers so I am sorting them by region; so, K=Kanto, J=Jhoto, H=Hoenn, S=Sinnoh, U=Unova, KL=Kalos, A=Alola G=Galar)
