Reborn for the amusement of others, he will ascend to heaven or be banished to hell. They are not Unkind given a Handful of choices and a memory to be envious of. This is my first fan fic enjoy. I will update when I am able and once it reaches Jhoto I will put it in a new book.

10. Chapter 10

Reborn Judgement-Kanto Chapter 10

Drag had arrived at mount moon several days ago and while waiting at the cave entrance he had been reluctant to have his Pokémon train after the first day. If they were training then something may end up happening that could derail his plans. After the first day he had taught Luna how to play Poker, Blackjack, go fish, tic tack toe, and checkers. Luna was surprisingly good at games and the only one that was unable to be played reliable was Poker due to her lack of hands.

A man with brown hair and a white lab coat ran out of the cave entrance with a few dozen Zubat right behind him. As Luna was about to attack the Zubat Drag stopped her "Wait just a bit I want to see what is going to happen." Just as the Zubat started to dive bomb the man a group of three appeared.

A boy with black hair wearing jeans, a blue vest, and a red hat with a Pikachu on his shoulder Yelled "Look over there! it's a bunch of Zubat."

The next to speak was a girl with orange hair wearing a yellow top and short shorts that seemed to be held up by a pair of red suspenders "they are attacking that guy."

As the boy help up a Pokedex Zubat flying Pokémon with supersonic powers Zubat lives in caves and hates to fly outside in daylight. "Not these Zubat."

The girl didn't like his tone "This is no time for jokes that guy needs our help!"

The boy was apologetic "You're right I'm sorry, Pikachu Thunder shock" As the rodent jumped in the air Drag motioned to Luna "Now Luna ice beam."

In a Flash of lightning and ice the majority of the Zubat fled with a few stragglers lying on the ground. Looking at a slightly larger one with Large fangs indicating it was a male, Drag tossed a Pokeball. In three shakes it dinged as Drag left the tree to claim his new Pokémon. Ash had run up to the man and was soon enveloped in a bear like hug "Wow you guys are the greatest." Mumbling could be heard as he tried to reply "I'm talking about super fantastic, two thumbs up way up. The best rescue I've ever had."

The Pikachu caught in the middle was being squashed and unleashed a thunder shock Drag went up to Brock showing the new Pokeball in his hand as He asked "Hey Brock, does this happen often."

The man went on to declare love and friendship as brock and Drag conversed "I just joined recently so I can't say. Is that a Zubat?"

Drag nodded "Yup, make sure to catch one yourself. Zubat are Difficult to get to their final evolution and are a great way to test new trainers, plus they help navigate in caves. I've been looking for a decent one for a while."

Brock went over to the downed Zubat as the Man began to yell "I'm Alive! Thank you so much, Thank you!" After a comment by the girl about his poetic bout earlier he continued "Did I mention how grateful I am?"

Ash looked at the man in concern "Um, Yeah. Anyways why were the Zubat attacking you mister?"

"Never call me mister. My name is Seymour, Seymour the scientist." As he took a pose "Knowledge! Research! I am Seymour the scientist."

Drag walked up the them and Raised his hand, Luna had her head down looking like a fur mantle on his coat. "I'm Drag of Veridian I was only able to assist Ash because I don't have much in the way of Pokémon who have decent area attacks."

The Group turned and introduced them selves "I'm Ash of Pallet town I saw something Sparkly his the Zubat with Pikachu thanks for your help."

"I'm Misty, a water Pokémon trainer over there is Brock. Nice to meet you." Seymour began to walk into the Cave as everyone followed.

"The cave is all lite up inside, somebody has put these light through the whole cave." Seymour's sad tone was very apparent. "The Pokémon in these caves need the dark. These lights are upsetting them and making them confused."

Brock spoke up "Which is probably why the Zubat left the cave and attacked you."

"Any development of wild Pokémon habitat has to be inspected and approved be fore any work can be done to prevent wild Pokémon attacks. It could be criminals we should be careful." Drag stated League law while Brock and Misty nodded, Ash looked at Seymour who began to talk about the Pokémon they encountered.

"Look here, these Paras are planting their mushrooms everywhere, and these hot lights are drying up these Sandshrew. That's why I'm here. I patrol the mountain to protect it from the troublemakers attacking against these caves."

Misty asked him "Troublemakers? Why attack a cave?" Seymour stopped

"I'm afraid its because of the moonstone." As he turned Poetic. "The moonstone is an awesome boulder, a million years old or possibly older, deep in theses caves the meteor hides, though no explorer has found the place, of the legendary rock from space, we've studied it fragments for many an hour, and discovered it increases a Pokémon's power, and that is why the attackers are here, to take away the moonstone. Or so I fear." Drag gave a quick clap. It may not be the best poem he heard but Seymour had put some though in it.

Ash spoke in confusion "The moonstone."

Seymour continued. "Every since I was a little boy, I believed that Pokémon came from outer space." As the other spoke up in surprise

"There are indeed some Pokémon that are known to have come from outer space but they are rare in Kanto and Jhoto. Your best bet to see one is to head to a new region. I believe most Pokémon were made by the God Pokémon Arceus." Drag was quickly ignored by Seymour.

"Were you ask is the spacecraft that brough them to earth. It's in this cave, it's the moonstone."

Drag snickered as misty told him "It sure is an original theory."

"Don't you see. It means The Moonstone belongs to the Pokémon. We humans must not take it from them!" Seymour turned and clasped Ash's hands "You agree with me don't you." As Ash nodded quickly seeming to try to ignore the serial killer like turn about a Clefairy passed by.

"Clefairy, Clefairy, Clefairy." It bounced by chanting its name hold a shiny stone in its hands.

Brock who had been quite for sometime said the obvious "That looks like a Clefairy."

Misty gasped at how cute it was while Ash used his Pokedex Clefairy, this impish Pokémon is friendly and peaceful. It is believed to live inside mount moon, although very few have ever been seen by humans. Drag spoke up "It is also a fairy type Pokémon. They are known as one of the most mysterious types and are immune to dragon type attacks."

Ash grabbed a Pokeball "I've got to catch it" he was stopped by Seymour

"you can't. Its best if you let it stay here, I hope you understand." Ash looked into his eyes and nodded. Soon the Terrified voice of Clefairy could be heard ahead. As the group ran to see what happened they saw a Meowth.

The Meowth had cornered Clefairy and Spoke "Don't be scared of Meowth."

"It's Meowth"

"Nya, what are you doing here."

Ash Raise his fist as he spoke "Looking for troublemakers like you." Pikachu had snuck around to Clefairy "So team rocket is causing all the trouble around here, what a surprise."

Brock was next to speak "we've got to stop them before the start any more trouble."

(Author note; Jessie and James speak together to often and with the increase in dialog, I have decided to bold When James speaks when the speak back to back. It May be subject to change. Also Drag isn't speaking as much as he could. This is because with just the group ther are four people add team rock the standard guest and it takes time to figure out how to mesh dialog. I will try to improve it as I continue to write.)

"Trouble, make that double" A man and woman walk out from the shadows the woman had long red hair wearing a white pencil skirt and top with a red R emblazed upon it. The man had blue har wearing white pants and jacket also with a red R.

"To protect the world from devastation,

to unite all peoples with our nation,

to denounce the evils of truth and love,

to extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie, James,

Team rocket blast off at the speed of light,

Surrender now or prepare to fight,

Meowth that's right."

Seymour spoke up first followed by Ash "they sure are showoffs"

"Don't you get tired of saying the same thing over and over."

The Rockets weren't phased one bit "You're just jealous boy, because we won't let you join us."

Brock looked angry "You put up the lights in this cave its your fault the Pokémon who live here are so confused."

"What a shame, how will we ever forgive ourselves" Meowth "we want the moonstone so we can power up Pokémon with it." Jessie raised her arm still carrying a shovel "With the moon stone in our hand nothing will stop us."

Ash and Brock were mad "we wont let you get away with it." "you want a rock take one of these, then get lost."

Jessie and James tossed the digging tools aside "Get lost how rude. Let's teach them manners." Jumping off a ledge "Ekans, Koffing."

Ash whispered to misty to escape with Seymour and Clefairy while grabbing his own Pokeball. Drag and brock followed soon after "GO Butter free" Brock "Go Zubat" finally drag "Dracula, time to battle"

Ash called out in surprise "Zubat" Brock was quick to boast "We caught them before we entered the cave. When did you name yours anyway Drag?"

Drag shrugged "during one of Seymour's poetic moments. I just let him out to name him and see what he could do. I always name the Pokémon I plan to keep, makes it easier to Identify them during team battles like this." Ash was depress looking down at his feet "I should have caught one."

James moved first "Koffing smog"

Ash called out "Butterfree use whirlwind." As brock directed his Zubat to help. As the smoke cleared Ekans burst through trying to attack Butterfree.

"Dracula, intercept Ekans with wing attack." While Ekans was stopped Koffing tackle Brock's Zubat.

Brock called out "Use supersonic" Drag then "Dracula help him Supersonic" Both Ekans and Koffing turned on each other as James and Jessie called out to them to stop fighting each other.

Ash used this opportunity "Butterfree whirlwind, Blow them all the way out of the cave."

As team rocket flew away, they called out "Its time team rocket blasted off, you may have won this round but we'll be back."

Drag spoke up "Guy's Meowth wasn't with them, which way did Misty run off to."

As Ash, Brock, and Drag ran to catch up with Misty they saw Meowth flying through the air water spewing from his mouth. Down by a river Misty, Seymour, and Clefairy standing in was a Staryu. Staryu looked like a brown starfish with a red gem in the center of its body. Drag assumed it was Misty's Pokémon as Ash asked if everyone was alright. Misty took a pose "We won't be bothered by Meowth anymore due to Misty the Mighty."

Drag noticed Seymour shiver "Misty the Mighty may be a bit wet. You should both get out of the river and change into new cloths." With a change of clothes, the sun began to set as Brock took out some Pokefood.

Ash asked what it was and Brock was happy to comply "This is Pokémon food made from my own secret recipe the ingredients are specially blended for each Pokémon." Ash gave some to Butterfree and Drag gave some to Dracula. "I've been developing it for years. I keep improving on the recipe. I'll make a batch for Pikachu."

Drag asked "What do you have for other types" as he scratched Luna behind the ear. She raised her head *Vulpix* "I have a few Ice type Pokémon along with several others when we stop to camp, I'll let you see the others."

Misty was a blur as she tackled Drag. As drag was knock to the Ground Luna was being held by Misty as she pets the White fox Pokémon. "She's so cute! What Pokémon is she and why was she acting like a fur accessory to you outfit." Hearing Ashes Pokedex in the back ground Drag looked at Misty. She was straddling his waist her short road up, they left little to the imagination when she wore them regularly.

Drag Coughed to get her attention. "I know I may be attractive but please of some shame. I am engaged to another after and if you want to be in a relationship you will have to go through her." Misty turned red as Luna escaped her grasp. Seeing as she wasn't moving Drag decided to act, placing his hand on her waist. "Would you like me to help you move?"

The Pokémon and Ash were laughing as Misty yelled about perverts her face red. Drag had been left laying on the ground a red handprint on his face. Seymour was sampling the Pokefood, as brock crouched over and drew circles in the dirt. Apparently Drag having a significant other was a significant blow to the single teenager. Soon Pikachu got everyone's attention and they started walking through a forest up the mountain. Luna was back wrapped around Drag's neck as Misty occasional peeked at them and turned red.

Soon they came to another cave as the entered inside Drag took out his camera and stayed towards the back of the group. He started recording a Clefairy placed her stone next to several others at the base of the rock. The rocks gave off a glow as more Clefairy joined the first soon they were all jumping and dancing around the moonstone. Seymour was quick to comment on their society as the others tried to interpret Pikachu's charades "The Clefairy pray to the moons stone."

Soon team rocket appeared. "Stars that our que." Meowth

Ash Called out "You guys don't know when to quit" as Seymour got in front of the group

"You keep away from the Moonstone or else!" His knees where shaking. Drag decided to just record, if their face is well known for a crime, they may have trouble with their schemes later.

"Or else? I think we've been threated. What's that unusual sound? His knees are shaking." Meowth not wanting to be left out called Seymour out "Sounds like a wimp."

Seymour charges arms failing "I'll show you." His eyes closed he didn't notice Meowth putting out his leg to trip him as he fell, he lost his glasses "My glasses. I can't see a thing."

As misty called out in concern Ash Yelled "That wasn't fair." Drag shook his head. They were criminals of course they wouldn't be fair. They should have sent out Pokémon not have a scientist who doesn't know how to fight charge out. Ash sent out Pikachu while Brock sent out Onix. Jessie sent out Ekans who used Dig as James sent out Koffing who used smoke screen.

Using a diversion Team rocket stole the moon stone. Drag put away the camera for now as the team gave chase. As the team caught up to team rocket Drag turned on the camera just in time to record Brock's Onix being knocked down by Koffing.

"Hey look is Seymour," Following the direction Misty was pointing they could see Seymour sticking his head out of the tunnel Onix made as Clefairy after Clefairy jumped out. As they stood in from of Team Rocket that started to way their fingers back and forth Drag quickly recognized the move "Metronome." Ash and the others heard him as team rocket was still confused

"What are they doing? Waving their fingers." As team rocket and their Pokémon stared moving back and forth with the Clefairy Meowth spoke up "This way and that way, this way and that way."

Ash, Brock and Misty also started to sway Seymour started to explain. "This is an attack the Clefairy use called the metronome. I've never seen the Clefairy use the metronome before. Who knows what will happen next?" As soon as he finished the Clefairy stopped and a bright white light shone out. Soon a blast of energy erupted from the earth sending team rocket and several Clefairy flying in the air.

"Well it looks like team rocket is, Blasting off again." Meowth "that was the metronome." "I give it two thumbs down, Me too." As they blasted off into the sky leaving a twinkle in the sky the sun began to rise.

Ash and the others were awed by the power of the attack "Wow," as parts of the once large rock fell slowly glowing Drag pocketed a few pieces he grabbed from the air and the ground. Several Clefairy glowed as they evolved into Clefable. "The Clefairy are evolving" Misty and Brock spoke as Ash got out his Pokedex Clefable; the evolved form of Clefairy these creatures are some of the rarest Pokémon in the world.

Seymour in awe "The power of the moonstone did this." Drag turned off his camera and every got some rest. The team helped the Clefairy and Clefable gather most of the pieces from the moonstone when they woke and placed it back in the hidden cave. As the fairy Pokémon resumed their dance Seymour expressed his wish "I've decided to stay here with the Clefairy. Its been my dream to find the moonstone, some day I will travel to the stars with the Clefairy."

With a tone that was hard to tell whether he meant it or not brock asked him if he remembered them to send a postcard. The following day the group set off and, in a few hours, reached a sign pointing the way toward Cerulean City. "Well I guess were going the right way." Brock said "There is something else scribbled here."

"Yeah, well they say some kids like to write silly notes on these signs. What does it say?" as Ash stood next to the sign Gary was here! Ash is a Loser! "Gary was here…Loser." Shouting up to the sky "I'll show you" Ash raced ahead.

"What's the hurry!" Misty called out at ash's retreating figure

Brock muttered to himself "He'll never learn."

Drag chuckled "I'm going to stick around. If he is like this all the time at the very least, I'll never be bored. Anyways well catch up went he notices he left Pikachu behind." *Pikachu Chua. *

As the team neared Cerulean Misty was constantly trying to get them to go anywhere else. Everyone ignored her pleas. Every time Ash tried to come off as a confidant Pokémon trainer Brock would use the opportunity to prod him using Gary.

Ash was the first to notice Misty's disappearance. "So, this is Cerulean City. Pretty nice place eh guys"

"Yeah pretty cool" Brock responded but Drag just grunted. It was no Alola.

"Hey look. That weird misty is not following us anymore." As the looked around Brock pointed out how she didn't want them to come here "I wonder why she hates this place so much. I'll never figure out girls."

They came across a crime scene further into Cerulean City Ash and Brock went to investigate they were almost arrested by the local Jenny as she mentioned what was stolen Drag spoke up. "If they stole a Massive vacuum and a hose it could mean they plan to use it themselves. The Official Gym in this town uses Water type Pokémon and have several rare ones I would not be surprised if they were the culprit or the targets."

The Jenny turned toward Drag and began asking questions." Your friends are cleared but how do you know so much about Cerulean City." It was time to act on his evil scheme.

"I am Drag Morgan of Veridian City here my license. I heard about how the Official Gym leaders in this town refused to battle trainers who had Pokémon strong against water types and just gave Badges away. They may try to stage a robbery in order to sell the Pokémon from the league before they end up shut down. The only sister who accepted challenges hasn't been heard from for several weeks. Ash and I came to challenge this gym, if you come with us in disguise you can see for yourself if what I say is true" Ash was asking Brock if what drag said was true. Brock just admitted he hadn't asked about other gyms before.

Jenny gave it some though and agreed. Drag decide to stay with Jenny as Ash and Brock went ahead. Having some time to himself as he waited nearby for Officer jenny to finish Drag release his Pokémon to be fed and Started his recording of Daze. "hello this is Drag in this series of videos I have been recording Daze my Feebas it has been almost a month, and her skin has been getting noticeable better. Now for our star to appear, come on out Daze," Soon after she was released, she started to glow. After shining brightly, she turned into Milotic Serpentine with long feelers her scales golden in color. "Well I guess that proved my theory and she is a beautiful specimen. That's all for now once the League confirms this video many are going to try to raise a Feebas. I want you all to know it takes time, even with a prism scale it took nearly a month and the scale is no longer present. Drag signing out."

Drag turned to Daze and had discovered her personality and intelligence soared from when she was a Feebas. "well Girl I think I will use you in my next gym battle so we can test your strength so be ready." Daze seemed to enjoy that Idea and nuzzled Drag before she was recalled. Adding a few Tm moves to his team he waited for Officer Jenny.

It took some time before they headed to Cerulean city gym and when they got to the entrance no record keeper was there. "This is suspicious, if there is no keeper available during challenge hours how will trainers get their badges. Lets head to the Main field." Jenny grabbed his arm and pulled Drag to an arena with a large pool in the center.

Just as they entered ash and three young women walked in. "Come on I challenge all of you." Ash could be heard clearly though out the arena. The arena was silent.

The Blonde spoke first "we Don't feel much like battling anymore." Then the Blue haired one "We just got beaten three times in row by kids from this nowhere place called pallet town. It was just one defeat after another. My eyes were spinning from all the loses." Jenny was not happy seeing a young trainer being denied a challenge. Once the Blonde spoke up again "We practically had to rush all out Pokémon to the Pokémon center." The red-haired Woman sent out a Goldeen as Declared it as the last Pokémon in the Gym. As they motioned to the water a Seel jumped out with a badge in its mouth.

Jenny Jumped down as the Three were about to give Ash a badge "Hold it right there in the name of the Pokémon League. You three will be escorted to the station where you will answer all questions about your criminal activist as a League Auditor checks all transitions and Badges you gym has given this past year." Soon after Misty appeared and jumped down

"All right Daisy if you don't want to battle I will."

"As these three lied to this young trainer and broke league laws they will be questioned and this gym will face an audit no exceptions. If you are a register gym leader you will also need to be questioned about what has been allowed in this gym. All gyms have their own medical staff so any Pokémon that had been injured can receive medical treatment these three blatantly lied. If any of them owe any money to the league this gym will be taken as payment." Jenny walked towards Daisy as Drag and Ash watched nearby. Ash was still somewhat confused at the turn of events. "Is she a registered trainer of the gym?"

The blonde woman identified as Daisy replied "Yes, but she has been out for several weeks now. We put in her absence form. Our sister has done nothing wrong." Misty was turned towards her sisters.

"What did you do. This was our family's gym it, has been an official gym for decades." Drag stepped forward to explain.

"After meeting Jenny at the scene of a crime she mentioned that a vacuum and a hose had been stolen. I had heard rumors about this gym giving free badges and told Jenny that they might have stolen the equipment in order to stage a robbery to cover the sale of league Pokémon before fleeing. I'm sorry, but I didn't know you were the other gym leader. The rumors started after they said you had left." Misty just started crying.

As her other two sisters went to try and hug Misty they were pushed away. Daisy tried to explain. "We never like battling and just wanted to do our shows. We totally didn't think it would hurt anyone. Most of the trainers who challenge use are just going for their first or second badge. Anyone who has more we seriously fought them."

Soon the building started to shake as a metal object burst through the walls.

"Sorry to break in on you ladies, allow us to introduce ourselves.

"The water Pokémon have the advantage, but if we steal that water away. Then the Pokémon are ours for the taking." Meowth raises his paw "Meowth knows just how to do it." A hose rises from the back of the machine and lands in the pool. In a belch of fire in smoke the water starts to be sucked through the hose.

Ash who had been Confused by recent events exclaims "A massive vacuum and a giant hose. Team rocket was the one who broke into that store back there. I should have known it was them"

Daisy exclaimed "Our swimming pool! There sucking it dry."

"Stop right there criminals, return everything you've stolen can come quietly." Officer Jenny held up a pair of hand cuffs.

"You're right I should give it back." Meowth turns the machine into reverse and spews water out of the hose knocking down everyone while Pikachu and Seel fall into the water.

"Hey wait a second water conducts electricity." Ash called after Pikachu to use thunderbolt. The energy traveled trough the water and the metal machine to shock team rocket.

"Its times like these that make me want to come clean." As team rocket fell into the water they were quickly sucked in by the hose. "Now I know what it feels like to be all washed up, we'll never come clean." As team rocket when through the hose and we blasted out the other side Pikachu was quickly heading towards the hose itself. Ash ran to the machine turning it in reverse to release Pikachu before turning it off.

As Ash had saved the Pokémon, he was given a Cascade badge. Which Officer Jenny approved due to extenuating circumstances, that Just left Drag. It was agreed that while the gym might not be shut down, they would be under strict observation. "Misty, I challenge you for a Cascade badge. Since this is still an Official Gym, I can challenge it as long as the leaders haven't received league approval to close it."

Officer Jenny spoke up "Very well this will be a two on two battle Misty Waterflower versus Drag Morgan of Veridian city. This will be his reward from the Pokémon League for informing them of the circumstances surrounding Cerulean city gym." Several floating mats were placed in the pool as the two stood on opposite ends.

"While I am not happy about what my sisters did I don't blame you Drag, However I wont take it easy. Go Staryu." Misty tossed a Pokeball, as it landed on a mat Staryu appeared.

Ash brought out his Pokedex as he stood on the sidelines to watch the battle, Staryu; the core of this Pokémon shines in rainbow of seven different colors. The core is valued by some as a type of jewelry.

Drag grabbed a Pokeball tossing it into the air "Grace, its time to battle." Grace laned on a mat as her blue fur seems to sparkle with the water splashed up by her landing. "I really haven't had time to show of my other Pokémon. With all that happened I don't think you've even seen them. The past few day event just goes to sleep and I release them in my tent so the can eat and return them soon after waking up"

As Ash tried to use his Pokedex he received an answer that baffled him No data is available on this Pokémon. "Hey, my Pokedex can't tell what Pokémon that is. Does anyone know how to fix a Pokedex around here?"

Drag yelled out "Grace is a Glaceon, which is and evolutionary from of Eevee. It wasn't discovered in Kanto so its not considered a Kanto region Pokémon. Most Pokedex' can only hold a few regions worth of information at a time. If you haven't had anyone download a new region for you it should only know Kanto Pokémon."

"If your done boy's its time to battle Staryu use water gun." Misty seemed impatient as she called for Staryu to attack.

As the starfish Pokémon spewed water from the tip of one of its points Drag called for his Glaceon to use protect. "Grace protect, then use ice beam to freeze the water in the pool." Water splashed of the barrier pushing Grace back one the attack ended Grace started to freeze the water.

Misty called out "Staryu use swift." As countless star began to shoot out of Staryu center Grace was unable to defend and was hit several times. "Staryu use it again."

"Grace use Ice shard to counter." Grace got up and sent several shard of ice hurling forwards as the two attacks collided a light show of blush what flashes and sparkling Icey power took their place. "Use quick attack to get close and hit it with iron tail." As the Glaceon rush forward its tail glowing Misty called out.

"Staryu use counter." The Pokémon spun straight towards Grace and the two collided. As both flew back and landed on the Ice only Grace got back up "Well done Staryu, return. Go Starmie"

"Return Grace you did a great job. Steal the show Daze it's time to Battle" Drag returned Grace to her Pokeball and Sent out his recently evolved Milotic, Daze. No data is available on this Pokémon. Again, Ash's Pokedex had no answers for him "Milotic is from another region as well she recently evolved from a Feebas so this will be a true test of her strength. Milotic is said to have the ability to rival Gyarados. Now Daze Ice beam and try to get closer." Daze shot off several short beams of ice as she advanced on Starmie.

"Starmie dodge and use rapid spin lets show him who should be afraid of getting close." Starmie jumped spinning as it flew upwards the down towards Daze.

"Daze use water pulse and knock it off course." Drag called out to daze in time for the attack to force Starmie into the ice. Starmie got stuck a third of the way through. "Now use you tail and tackle attack."

Daze spun using her tail hitting Starmie with enough force to knock it free of the ice. "Oh no, Starmie." Starmie flew through the air and hit the wall. As it landed it slumped over and is core started to flash. "I surrender Starmie won't last long like this." As Misty returned the Pokémon, Jenny called Drag the winner and handed him a Cascade badge.

"It was a good fight we should have a rematch sometime. By the way Ash I know you also want to fight but what happened to Brock anyways." The group headed out of the gym it was close to evening as the sky had turned a reddish orange color.

Misty Had started a fight with her sisters and decided to continue on with her Pokémon journey. As her sisters told her to take care, Ash turned to see Brock running towards them. "Ash hey man"

"Yo Brocko"
"How'd it go."

Drag spoke out "Really he just called you Brocko, that makes no sense. It just makes you name longer and gives the feeling that you sell herbal medicine. Also, we both got a badge." Misty's sister snickered as Brock turned away and started walking

"Come on let's go."

Drag sighed and ran off with misty to catch up to the two who seemed to want to leave quickly. Ash started a fight soon after. "Misty you aren't going to be sore loser are you."

Turning towards Ash she Clenched her fist "Drag may have beaten me, but you never even faced me I could squash your Butterfree like a bug." Soon Ash was fleeing from Misty as she chased him into the sunset.

(Author note: Most Pokémon battles end quickly at this stage, plus most of Ash's gym battles end up being interrupted by team rocket. In several such battles I will have Drag challenge the gym earlier. I also plan on having Drag battle an Authorized Gym in the future, if anyone has ideas for some OC. gym leaders make sure to add several Pokémon, they could have I would suggest anywhere between 1-4. I will probably use two in Kanto.)
