Mary stared at Sherlock, extremely confused by his behavior.
"Excuse me?" she asked, befuddled by his previous words.
"As the best man, I have taken the liberty of arranging a meeting with a wedding dress designer and I have already arranged for payment." Sherlock said bored, and Mary stared at him harder.
"Sherlock, there was no need for you to do that."
"On the contrary, it is one of my duties." He countered and Mary agreed after a few more minutes of staring at him.
She had no way to know that her agreement signified the start of a beautiful friendship with Sherlock, nor that she would faint when she learned just who the wedding dress designer he chose was.
Sherlock was clearly crazy and should not be trusted with his money.
