AN: Shameless self promotion. If you guys haven't head on over to Wattpad. I have published this story as well as my other story Rags To Leather on there. It's a free site but you do have the option to upgrade to Premium which is reading without ads. But the ads on the free version aren't bad. They don't really tend to interrupt your reading. And when they do pop up they're in between chapters and are skippable. But you guys are able to Vote on chapters that you like which helps the writer out on getting their story out there. So it'd be a big favor if you guys went on there to show some love to both stories.
I do tend to update there before here. So if you dont want to wait for an update that's another little incentive to show some love over there. And i'm also able to add media to the stories so that means you get to see pictures and gifs that go with the chapters as well.

With that said here's the next installment. I hope you guys enjoy.
"How'd you get this thing in here?" Opie questioned as he took a storage trunk out of the shed.
"By myself," Donna watched as they continued to take out stuff from the shed. Was her response sarcastic? It could be taken that way. But she did do it by herself while Opie was in Chino. She had to be self sufficient and learn to depend on herself to get things done.
"Mom, Carrie is here," Ellie informed, popping her head out of the sliding door.
"Okay honey, just send her outside," Donna looked over her shoulder at Ellie, who quickly nodded before going back inside.
"You invited Carrie over?" Jax questioned looking back at Donna. "I didn't know you two were friends."
"Yeah we met a little while ago," Donna shrugged, placing her hands in her back pockets. "Had a run in with her at the store. She invited me and the kids out for ice cream and I guess the rest is history."
Jax nodded briefly looking over his shoulder before pulling out the play pack. Which was a little difficult and almost had him falling before balancing himself.
"Looks great," He said taking in the condition the play pack was in. "How much?"
"Forget it," Opie answers picking it up to carry out. "It's a gift."
Jax watched Opie walk away before giving some money to Donna anyways.
"No Jax. I don't want it," She argued trying ti hand him the money back.
"Hey, I'm the one getting the deal."
"Hey Carrie," Opie greeted briefly pausing to let her through.
"Hey Harry," Carrie let out a brief laugh at Opie's facial expression. "Sorry Opie."
Opie softly laughed while shaking his head before leaving the back yard. Knowing she did it to get a rise out of him by calling him by his actual name.
"Hey, you actually came," Donna jokingly stated.
Carrie to laugh and shrug before greeting Jax. "Hey Jax," she gave him a small smile, trying to not sound breathless at the sight of him shirtless and slightly sweaty.
"Hey darlin," Jax greeted squeezing her hip and giving her a smirk. "How's the kid doing?"
"He's doing good," Carrie informed him before turning back to Donna who raised her eyebrow at the interaction.
"I was promised the best ice cream sundae," Carrie smiled at Donna, holding her hands up. "There was no way I could pass that up."
"I swear that boy has a crush on you. Next thing I know he'll be trying to score a date from you," Donna teased.
Carrie laughed, waving her off, "He's a cute kid and he's at that age where he's started to get interested in girls. He'll forget all about me and his crush soon enough. He just has to have a little girl show interest and you'll see."
Carrie glanced towards Jax, seeing him run his thumb across his lower lip, as he slowly looked her up and down. Ignoring the butterflies, she turned back towards donna when Opie walked back into the yard.
"All right, I'm going to get going," Jax said softly squeezing Donna's hand before squeezing her hip once more.
"I'll see you at the fundraiser," Jax lifted his chin towards Opie.
"That Taste of Charming thing?" Donna questioned looking between her husband and Jax.
"Yeah I'm doing the fireworks," Opie informed.
Taking in Donna's expression, they could see that Opie hadn't mentioned it to her. Carrie caught Jax's gaze, sharing a look, expressing how awkward the situation was beginning to get if it resulted in an argument.
"It's not a club thing Donna," Opie knew she didn't want him around the club. He couldn't blame her but he still wished she wouldn't be against a part of his life.
"Yeah, My mom started it years ago," Jax tried to help diffuse the situation. "It raises money for the school district."
Jax gave one last smile to both herself and Donna before leaving. At the awkwardness that had stayed behind, Carrie wished that Jax had offered to take her with him.
She was just starting to slowly inch her way towards the back door when she heard Opie speak up.
"Com on, it'll be fun. Give me some time to hang with the kids. You girls can hang out, spend some time together. Judge the gossiping busy bodies."
Donna smiled, looking over towards her in invitation.
"Okay, we'll go for a little while," Donna said after getting the reassurance from Carrie.
"Thanks," Opie leaned in to give Donna a kiss, causing Carrie to look away form the sweet moment between husband and wife.
"How much he give you?" Opie questioned pulling back and going to put everything back into the shed.
"None of your business."
"You going to the Taste of Charming fundraiser?"
"Isn't it that thing that raises money for the schools?" Kenz retorted, tightening her ponytail.
"Yeah, are you going?" Carrie questioned, giving a quick wave to Jax as he passed by.
"Oh I see, you're trying to go so you can see him. Finally decided to get you some of that," Kenz laughingly pushed her back.
Carrie rolled her eyes, "Give it a rest will you. How many times do I have to say it's not going to happen?"
"Neve say never," Kenz sang while walking away. Leaving Carrie alone with her thoughts about a certain blonde who should be off limits.
"You seen that guy before?" Jax stopped Carrie as they watched the man he was referring to leave the NICU.
"No. Why?"
"It's probably nothing but he just kept looking at Abel through the window," Jax shook his head. "Could be nothing but it threw me off."
"I can ask around see if they've noticed him here before," Carrie offered taking in the close proximity between them.
"Nah, it's alright darling," Jax answered softly squeezing her hip. Giving her a smile that had her heart stopping. "You going to the fundraiser right?"
Carrie nodded before clearing her throat. "Yeah I'm meeting Donna and the kids there."
"Alright, I'll be seeing you there then."
"Isn't that guy SAMCRO?"
"Not anymore," Opie replied looking towards where Kyle Hobart was parked.
"He got out?"
Opie looked at Donna, "Sort of."
He knew the truth but he didn't want to divulge club business out in the open. The real reason was that he had been excommunicated after he had gotten caught and sent to Chino for a five year sentence.
"Look there's Carrie, why don't you guys take the kids and I'll meet up with you in a little bit," Opie pointed out Carrie who was making her way towards them.
"Okay," Donna replied waving at Carrie in greeting.
'Hey guys," Carrie greeted. "You ready to have some fun?"
Opie watched them walk a couple of feet before looking back at Kyle. The resentment he had put aside, coming back tenfold. Shaking his head remembering that this was the time or place to get even, he decided to just walk away and catch up with his family.
"Kenny," Jax called out in greeting, giving him a high five before kissing Ellie on the cheek. "Ellie."
"Hey," He greeted Donna before kissing her cheek. Turning to face Carrie, "Hey darling," he greeted before kissing her cheek, lingering a little bit longer.
"Hey Jax," She replied back, giving him a soft smile before turning back her attention towards the kids who began talking about what they wanted to do first.
Jax watched them walk before greeting Opie, "Hey bro. She know about Kyle?"
"No," Opie shook his head ;looking over his shoulder. Both him and Jax pausing at the gate into the schedule school. "Kyle looks like he's doing alright."
Jax noticed the resentment in Opie's eyes before patting him on the back, "Go hang with you family."
He watched Opie walk off before looking back towards Kyle, his arm around a young blonde, as he made his way towards the gate. He already knew shit could go sideways but he didn't want anything to go down. At least nothing that would cause his mother to throw a hissy fit.
"No need to say anything Jax," Kyle informed holding his arms out. "I know my boundaries."
"Yeah well I'm, going to tell you anyways," He retorted stopping in front of Kyle. "You stay away from everyone. Kid's done playing, you and your teenager climb into your pretty little cage and drive away."
Kyle nodded while looking down at the ground. Seeing that Kyle understood, Jax decided to leave and started to when Kyle called out to him. "Jax, wait."
"I have something for the club," Kyle began walking closer to him. "This thing fell into my lap man. I'm making stupid money, funneling stolen car parts through my gig over at Sparks Brothers," He shrugged. "I want to hook you guys up-"
Jax didn't even let him finish his last sentence before he had him up against the wall. "That's why you're here? Trying to buy us back?"
"Pull us into one of your bullshit schemes," Jax shoved Kyle back into the wall.
"It's not bullshit," Kyle argued looking around. "Okay, I want to share this with you guys."
Any retort that Jax could have had was cut off from the look his mother gave him, as she caught him cornering Kyle up against the school building.
Letting Kyle go, he stepped back giving him some space but not enough where he was free to go, "Get out of my sight."
"Isn't she pretty Uncle Jax?" Kenny questioned briefly looking up at the man before returning his gaze to the person in question.
"Shouldn't you be aiming at someone your own age?"
Kenny scoffed and shook his head, "Girls my age are dumb. Others tend to be mean. The only that's okay is my sister. Don't tell her I said that though. "
Jax laughed, shaking his head thinking back on his own childhood and when he started to notice girls. Only difference was that he paid attention to girls his now age but he couldn't fault Kenny. At least the kid had good taste even if it was on a woman and not a little girl.
"You mind if I talk to Carrie?" Jax questioned, not wanting Kenny to get mad at him.
Kenny shook his head, "You'd probably have better luck at getting somewhere with her than I would. I'm just a kid and she's a woman. A smoking one at that. She'd never go for a kid like me."
Jax smirked, "If she went for a kid like you, she'd be in jail." He ruffled Kenny's hair. "You'll eventually find someone your age who grabs your attention like Carrie."
"I doubt it," Kenny shrugged before motioning towards Carrie who finished paying for the nachos. "She's all yours though. Go ahead and make your move."
Kenny moved to walk away but quickly turned back around, "Just don't hurt her or you'll have to deal with me." He said pointing at Jax in warning.
"Don't worry little man," Jax said before taking some money out. "Here go buy you and your sister something."
"Thanks Uncle Jax. You're the best."
Jax watched as Kenny ran away. Shaking his head at the ten year old. He wasn't even in his teens and he was already fawning over girls.
"Hey, where'd Kenny go?" Carrie questioned as she stopped by Jax. Who was standing where she had left the little boy.
"Gave him some money and he ran off."
Carrie nodded before sighing, "Guess I'll just have to eat these nachos by myself then. The sacrifices I make for that kid." She tried to keep a straight face but couldn't help and laugh, which caused Jax to laugh along with her.
"Let's go for a walk," Jax suggested and watched as Carrie debated her answer. Before she nodded motioning for him to begin walking.
"You know when you invited me for a walk. I thought you meant around the fundraiser not somewhere secluded," Carrie pointed out as she sat beside Jax on the bleachers.
Jax shrugged before smirking, "Wasn't my intention but we can go if you want."
Carrie quickly shook her head, eating some nachos and offering him some. "Nope, too late I got comfortable already. I'm not moving anytime soon."
Jax laughed, shaking his head. Resting his arms on his knees he turned his head to look at her. Watching her as she ate nachos, offering him some until they both finished it.
"Here, you got some cheese," Jax said wiping the corner of her mouth with his thumb. Lingering longer than necessary afterwards.
Carrie leaned forward, noticing Jax eyes become darker she could see the lust swirling in the blue depths. She knew she should pull back and put a stop to whatever was happening between the two. Yet she continued to wait for him to make his move.
Goosebumps slowly appearing as his hand moved down, caressing her skin before finally moving to the back of her neck. Whether to hold her still or pull her closer, she didn't know. But it got her heart racing in anticipation.
Jax licked his lips before closing the distance between them. Stopping when there was only a couple of centimeters of space between their lips. Waiting for some sort of indication that she didn't want this. When he didn't get one, he swiftly pressed his lips against her.
Finding them soft and plump, better than what he had imagined. He heard her sharp inhale of breath and slowly started to pull back, but she quickly reached up. Placing her hand behind his neck o keep him from moving any further.
"Smooth Teller," Carrie softly said, not letting him pull back immediately. "Real smooth."
Jax softly laughed before slightly pulling back with a smirk. "Smooth is my middle name."
Carrie laughed, shaking her head. The smile slowly fading but the amusement not leaving her eyes. Slowly the amusement began to turn into a different emotion and with it they both began to lean towards one another.
This time there wasn't any hesitation like the first time. What started off as a soft and tender kiss, quickly started to turn into more. Before she knew it, she was straddling Jax both hands on his chest. While his held her in place. Both were too intoxicated by the others kiss but finally the need for air broke them apart.
Carrie was just starting to regain her breath when Jax started kissing her neck, making the fire spark within her once more.
"You know anyone walking by will think we're crazy. Making out on the bleachers like a bunch of high schoolers," Carrie jokingly said, moving her neck to side. Giving Jax more space to continue his ministrations.
Feeling him smirk against her neck, briefly pausing before speaking between his kisses. "They'd just be jealous because they wish they'd thought of doing this sooner."
Carrie softly laughed before pulling back from him. Not moving off him but enough where she could see his face. "You know there's a no fraternization rule with patients at work?"
"I'm not a patient," Jax softly rebutted, slowly running his fingertips up and down her spine. "You want to keep this on the down low. We can do that, but all I know is that I want to see where this thing between us goes."
"You think you can manage to keep your hands to yourself," Carrie teased, biting her lip to keep from laughing.
"Darling it's going to be a challenge," Jax leaned forwards slowly kissing her again. "But we'll just have to get creative on when and where I can get a little taste."
I really debated on whether to finish it there or continuing. Writing more of what happened. But that might have just dragged on. Besides this is a telling of Carrie's story and not the retelling of SOA.
So while yes it does have some scenes and lines from the show. Don't expect to completely see everything that happened in the show happen here.
With that said READ, FOLLOW, COMMENT and ENJOY.
Stay safe guys.
