Chapter 2 The princess in the bag

With a knock on the door Naruto waited until he was allowed in, him hearing come in Naruto opened the door and walked in. Behind a desk he saw the old man the third Hokage, as the old man looked up, he gave a warm smile toward the fox-like boy and ushered him to come closer. Naruto doing his best to return the smile walked up and stood Infront of his surrogate grandfather and waited for him to speak.

"Ah Naruto my boy how have you been these days."

It has been some time since Hiruzen seen Naruto since he doesn't like spending to much time in the village, and who could blame him, if he was treated the same way Naruto was, he would have left the village along time ago. Although he is the Hokage he can't go out of his way to treat Naruto different from the rest because then that would show him favouring Naruto more, which he does.

"I'm doing fine old man what did you call me here for." Naruto says trying to get this smile thing down, it was proving quite hard, for the fox-like boy.

Although Hiruzen knows he's old, it still bugs him hearing it. He has tried making Naruto call him grandfather, but atlas that didn't work out so well in fact its what fueled the young fox to call him old, since grandfathers are typically old people. With a sigh and admitting defeat he looks into Naruto's eyes, the eyes of the Kyubi. When Naruto was starting to change, he was worried that the seal wasn't working, but a call for help to one of his former students and a master of the sealing arts, he was told that the seal in fact was working. He was relieved but didn't know why Naruto was changing like this. He was broken out of his thoughts by Naruto waving his hand back and forth to see if the old man was ok.

"*cough sorry Naruto I got lost in my own thoughts."

Naruto just simply shrugged it off, thinking it was a common old people thing, and let the old man continue.

"I didn't ask for you here for anything important, I just wanted to make sure you were doing alright since you never ask me for anything, or come and see me that often. Is there anything you need, anything at all"?

Hiruzen was praying to Kami him self at this point, hoping, just hoping, that for once Naruto would ask him for something. At this point if Naruto wanted, Hiruzen would give him SS ranked scrolls just so he could finally give something to his grandson. Unlike every other child, Naruto didn't want the new fancy toys, or to go play in the park, he likes to sleep and that's it, a five-year-old that only seems to enjoy sleeping, and being alone. Hiruzen got a spark of hope in his eyes when he saw Naruto thinking to him self, wondering if there is something he needs. The old man just sat there patiently, and eagerly waiting for his Naruto to ask him for anything, anything at all.

"Actually, there is something I could use your help on old man."

Those words, those words were like heaven to him. No matter what it was, no matter what he needed help on, he swore to Kami that he would do anything Naruto askes.

"Y-Yes of course Naruto, what can I help you with." Hiruzen was trying his damn hardest to not show his excitement.

"Well I need your help on this." as he channels his Chakra to his stomach, the seal appears, the same one that was placed on him when he was born, five years ago.

Hiruzen seeing this immediately gulps. Did he find out? When did he find out? No maybe he doesn't know, maybe he just found it and has questions about it. What ever the case was, he needed to find out just how much Naruto knew.

"Umm Naruto what do you mean about this"?

Hiruzen then payed close attention to Naruto's movements, it didn't help the old man that Naruto barely showed any emotion if any at all. He was a closed book, and no amount of prying at it, will it ever open. Hiruzen then simply looks at Naruto and waits for him to explain him self.

"This is a seal right"? Naruto asked and looks at the Hokage, since if there was anyone to know about seals, it would be the Hokage, since he is supposed to be the strongest in the entire village.

Hiruzen didn't know how to answer, in one hand he didn't want to lie to his grandson, but on the other he didn't want to tell him at such a young age. But Naruto isn't like other kids, or adults for that matter, he was smart and cunning and if there was something he truly wanted to know, then not even he could stop him. With a simple nod to Naruto, he waits for him to continue on this matter.

"Yeah I figured as much. Well what I need your help on is to teach me how to remove it."

"And may I ask why you want to remove it Naruto"? Hiruzen asked, worried that if the seal does get removed will his grandson become the fox itself?

"I'm not an idiot old man, I know that I look quite a lot like the Kyubi. And it didn't help that the civilians called me demon every chance they got."

Hiruzen at this point was pissed, he hated how Naruto was treated in the village and that because of the pathetic civilians that don't know the difference between a scroll and a kunai, Naruto found out about the seal and what he housed. Although it was just a matter of time since he resembles the fox quite well, almost like the fox itself had a child with a human and Naruto was the outcome.

"I hoped to keep it from you as long as possible in hope of giving you a normal childhood."

"I think that was going to be impossible, since you know I have 9 tails, red eyes and fox ears." Naruto says as he scratches the back of his neck.

Hiruzen then bursts out to a chuckle, which seemed to last quite a while. When he settled down, he wipes away the tears of laughter that were starting to form and speaks up.

"Yes, yes you are quite right Naruto. I supposed that was a foolish dream to have. Now why do you want to remove the seal."

"Because I can't use ninjutsu's."

At this Hiruzen was surprised, was Naruto training him self already? He decided to ask the young fox him self.

"What do you mean Naruto? Are you training your self already"?

"Yes and no. A couple of months back I figured that I could stick to things, like walls, trees and even water. If I thought about it I could do it, and now I can do it like its second nature to me. I also found out that my speed is something out of a fantasy book, I found that out the hard way when I ran into the Hokage Monument and left a full body print on the side of it."

Hiruzen then releases a small chuckle, imagining his grandson running at speeds that would surpass his father, then to just simply run into a mountain. Naruto seeing the old man laughing at his pain, glares at him and continues talking.

"when I sneaked into your library, I found a scroll about nature affinities and the paper to which shows you what element you can use. After reading the scroll I poured my Chakra into the paper revealing my affinities, but when I tried the first steps into one of my affinities noting worked, nothing at all. I tried for days but nothing, then when I got angry and poured all my Chakra into it, this seal appeared, and still nothing happened. So, I realised that this seal is blocking my Chakra from allowing it to do anything big."

Impossible was Hiruzens only thought. That seal was blocking the Kyubi's Chakra not Naruto's. But if what Naruto says is true, then that means that when the Kyubi was sealed into Naruto, something went wrong and that's why Naruto looks like this. Maybe I should ask him what he thinks about this, why he thinks he looks like this, and why he thinks his Chakra is sealed away.

"Naruto do you perhaps have an idea why you look like this? I assume that you have read about jinchūriki if you have been in my library, and you know that jinchūriki don't look like there Biju, at least not to this degree."

"Yes, I have, I've looked into it my self and my only conclusion is that somehow, someway, when the fourth sealed the Kyubi into me, he sealed its Chakra first into the seal, then when it came down to its soul, it couldn't go into the seal."

Hiruzen had a confused look on him.

"What do you mean Naruto? What do you mean the Kyubi's soul didn't get sealed away"?

"Well I'm just guessing, I know as much as you know but what I think is that instead of its soul going into the seal, it went into me, but not into the seal but into my body. And having no where to go, it went to the only place that it could go, where my soul is."

Hiruzen's eyes go wide.

"To your soul what do you mean."?

"Exactly what I said, the Kyubi's soul couldn't or wouldn't go into the seal, so it went to the only place it could go. When it arrived at my soul, and since I was just born, instead of my soul expelling the Kyubi's out the two merged together thus making me half human half fox or Kyubi. And as I grow older just like any regular limbs, my fox features will also grow. But since I am half human, I don't think I will one day turn into the fox it self."

Hiruzen's jaw drops and his eyes widen to godly proportions. But not only him, every anbu in that room was also speechless, not like they were going to say something at all, but for sure couldn't now. Hiruzen forgot about his anbu and the entire time they were listing to their conversation. Breaking himself for his shock, he quickly shakes his head and rubs his eyes. He looks up at his grandson and sees how unfazed he is about this.

"So that would mean that the Kyubi's Chakra is yours, and the reason you can't use the Chakra to perform Jutsu, is because its locked away in the seal."

"Exactly, but this is just speculation. But its pretty hard to find another explanation as good as that one." Naruto says since he has tried to come up with something else but nothing came to mind.

Hiruzen rubs his temples, he is getting far to old for this. Naruto wasn't just a jinchūriki, he was the Biju it self. He couldn't preform Jutsu because his Chakra is sealed away. But that also means that Naruto has the Kyubi's Chakra, its limitless Chakra.

"I think I understand Naruto, but I don't know how to remove that seal, only one person I know can and he's not in the village. But I will send word to him and have him return to the village so he can remove the seal from you."

"Thanks, old man, now is there anything else, id like to get back to my nap." Naruto was beginning to get tired from all this talking and just wanted to sleep.

Hearing this everyone in that room except for Naruto starts to sweat, after everything that was just said in here the only thing that Naruto cares about is going back to sleep. Everyone in that room has the same thought, we should have asked the Nara Clan to adopt him. The Hokage smiles at seeing Naruto not worried at all, simply nods and tells him that's all. But as Naruto was about to leave the Hokage calls out to him.

"Oh, Naruto one more thing, you were talking about your Nature Affinities earlier and by the way you said it, it sounded like you have more then one affinity." Hiruzen said and that immediately made all the anbu look at Naruto waiting for his response to find out what his natures was.

"That's because I do old man, I have three to be exact." Naruto says with a small smile, getting it down the more he does it.

Hiruzen was in shock, to have more then one affinity was rare and usually the ones who have more then one are those who have a bloodline. But even with a bloodline its extremely rare for them to have more then two. But seeing Naruto and everything they talked about today it wasn't much of a surprise.

"Three that's impressive, what are they"?

"What is it that you always say old man? A ninja's greatest technic is depiction." Naruto smiles and simples walks out of the office.

Everyone felt cheated. Like they were reading a good book or watching a good show and it ending on the biggest cliff hanger. In that moment everyone in the room including the Hokage vowed to them selves to find out what Naruto's Nature Affinities were.

A few hours later and it was starting to get dark, people were returning home and kids were being picked up from the parks by there parents. Naruto was napping on top of the Hokage tower since it would be far too bothersome to go all the way back to his forest, as he was napping, he felt someone terrified and incredibly sad. Naruto whose interests have been peeked darts towards the area where he can sense it from. As he arrived, he saw a man with a cloak on and carry a bag to which looked like it was carry someone, someone who definitely did not want to be in there. Naruto quickly putting two and two together realized this man was kidnaping a child, and with speeds that would make the Yellow Flash himself quiver at, he diapered and tackled the man to the ground. As the man was rolling on the ground in pain wondering if he somehow just got ran over by a train, Naruto heads towards the bag which he can clearing see someone is squirming in there.

As Naruto opened the bag, he sees a girl around the same age as him, looking up at him with those white eyes of hers that contain no pupil. Naruto only says three words.

"Well hello there." And smiles.
