Thank you for all the comments on the previous chapter. So to show my appreciation, here's the next update. BTW, the note at the bottom was written before i i decided to double update in a day. Just saying lol.

Carrie took a deep breath before stepping foot onto the lot. Taking in the bikes parked and the mechanics working in the garage. Nobody had noticed her yet and she was thankful. She needed to get her nerves under control or she'd run away.

Carrie froze, seeing Jax and Opie in the garage. It'd been a week since her run in with Stahl and while she had yet to go on with phase two. Which was to talk to Piney and get him to take the test. She had been waiting on Jax to make a move but he hadn't. Leaving Carrie to sit on her emotions. His silence and lack contact with her should have been enough. But she found herself waiting for him. Or at least to hear form him in order to get the closure she needed, if this was really over.

Looking over towards them, first she caught Opie's eye before he said something to Jax. Causing him to look in her direction. Feeling her emotions bubble up to the surface at the mere eye contact. She saw him start to walk in her direction, as the door opened behind her.

"Can I help you?"

Carrie quickly turned around, facing the person who now stood in front of her. "Yea, is Piney here?"

"Yeah, he's inside," the young guy, with sandy blonde hair answered. Silently question who she was, without voicing his question.

"I'm Carolyn," She introduced herself, looking over her shoulder. Noticing Jax closing the distance. Not wanting to face him at the moment she turned back around. "I really need to talk to him."

"Uh, yeah sure follow me," He said as he turned back towards the door he had just exited. Allowing Carrie to see the prospect kutte he was wearing. Before looking back at Jax, who had paused to stare at her make her way into the clubhouse.

Tightening her grip on the strap of her bag, she followed him into the dimly lit room. Adjusting to the lack of brightness compared to the outside.

"You can wait here. I'll go get him." He said motioning towards a table.

Carrie watched as he walked away, leaving her alone in the empty bar room. She slowly sat down while looking around. Noticing the stripper pole in the corner with couches in front of it. A set of closed double doors directly next to it. Empty round tables and chairs were to her right. The bar was behind her with stocked glass shelves. A tv was mounted in the corner, showing security footage of the lot and surrounding entrances.

Upon further inspection she noticed the pool table and another sitting area to the left, along with a desk and computer. Looking back towards her right, she noticed a doorway that led to what she assumed was a kitchen or break room. There was a window overlooking the bar area, same as with the double doors in front of her. But both had the blinds drawn, obscuring her view of the inside.

She bit her lip, getting antsy at waiting. Thinking it was better to just get the hell out of there. But it was either face Piney now or risk facing Jax outside. Carrie wasn't sure which was worse and before she could make her next move the guy from earlier was walking back with an older man following.

"Half sack here said you wanted to see me?'

Carrie froze, not able to speak as she took in the man in front of her. From his gray hair, blue eyes to the nasal cannula and oxygen tank. To his kutte that was different from the rest of the guys, with its faded look and made out of a denim fabric. But she could see the resemblance between him and Opie. As well as the differences, all while trying to see if there was any resemblance between herself and him.

"Is there anything I can help you with?"

"Do you have a couple of minutes. I need to talk to you, privately." She finally answered glancing at who he had called Half Sack. Hoping he got the hint.

"Get us a drink and then see if the guys need you in the garage," Piney said before taking a seat across from her. They remained quiet, while Half Sack poured them a drink. "Leave the bottle."

Carrie waited until she heard the door close before taking the shot. Feeling the patron burn as it went down leaving behind liquid courage.

Piney poured another round before looking up at her. "Now what is it you need from me? Because I know you didn't just come to drink with an old man."

"I think you're my father." Carrie blurted out before drinking the next shot. Slamming the glass down as Piney stared at her in disbelief. "I know it's crazy but I did a DNA test with a sample from Opie. The DNA match was at a twenty five percent. Which is common for half siblings."

"I also have paperwork proving it." She said quickly taking out the papers from her bag and laying home before him. Before pointing each one out. "That's the DNA results, my birth certificate. Followed by adoption papers."

"I know it's crazy, which is why I did the DNA test. Granted Opie doesn't know," She muttered the last part under her breath but Piney still caught it. Giving her another look of disbelief. "Look, Donna helped with that part. Bottom line is that your name is on the birth certificate and the DNA came back a match. Even if it's a small percentage, it's still a match."

"I came to show you that and hopefully get you to agree to do another one. Testing you directly will give us a better probability and fully determine paternity." Carrie said finally looking up at Piney, who remained quiet for the most part. He sat mulling over the information. Seeing the proof in front of him but knowing that something was off. He just didn't know what.

By the time Carrie walked out Jax and Opie were gone. But at least she'd gotten what she came for. Now she had to run to the Hospital in hope of catching Robbie. Hoping he would be able to get a start on the test.

She was too caught up in her thoughts that she didn't see Gemma watching from the office doorway. Otherwise she would have seen the contemplative look on her face. Which meant she was up to something.

Whether it was good or bad was yet to be seen.
