Another update.

In a way this is my way for making up for the reactions some of you may have for the next week. Which if I'm being honest myself I am kind of dreading. But it's not added just for giggles or with no regard to who Carrie. So I hope that the next one doesn't change your mind or put you off reading.

I'll most likely double update Chapter 15 and Chapter 16, when i put them up, like I did on Wattpad. Only for the sole purpose that I feel bad and want to make it up it to you readers. Or I might even do a triple update hoping Chapter 17 eases the fury that might unleash.

You have been warned and will be warned again at the end.

Carrie looked out her window and saw Half Sack sitting out there. Just like he had been for the past week since she went to talk to Piney. She had no doubt it was under his orders since she still hadn't heard from or seen Jax, since the almost run in at the garage. This time the results had taken longer but she had gotten them last night. She had yet to open it but given how Opie's had been a match she had no doubt these would be too.

Carrie opened her door, startling the prospect. "Why don't you come inside? Have you had breakfast already?"

"Uh, I'm just supposed to sit and keep watch out here."

"Well come on in." Carrie motioned him inside. "Before my neighbors report you for suspicious behavior."

"Have a seat anywhere you like." She called out as she walked into her kitchen."I hope eggs and bacon are okay with you."

"I'm actually a vegetarian." Half Sack informed as he watched her take out the ingredients.

Carrie paused, turning to look at him before continuing with the task at hand. "Then good thing I have pancake mix. I'll make sure not to add any eggs or dairy to it."

"You don't have to worry about that. I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian." Half Sack informed before further explaining at Carrie's confusion. "It's just means that I don't eat any meat or seafood. But I still eat eggs and dairy products."

"Okay then." Carrie said giving him a smile that put him at ease. Before going back to making breakfast. "So what's your real name?"

"Kip Epps."

Carrie looked over her shoulder. "Well Kip, what did you do before SAMCRO?"

"I was in the Army." Kip answered looking around her place from his seat. "I was medically discharged because of an accident which caused me to lose a testicle."

"Well, thank you for your service and let me guess. That's how the name Half Sack came to be." Carrie looked back at him, seeing him nod, before turning back and flipping the pancakes.

"Yeah but that wasn't until I started to prospect for SAMCRO."

"Why did you decide to prospect?"

"I missed the brotherhood and the camaraderie that I had in the Army. The club helped get that back. Even though I'm doing grunt work I know they have my back." Kip answered before standing up. "You need any help?"

Carrie nodded. "Sure. There's some fruit in the fridge. If you want to take it out and start slicing it up. That way it's a semi healthy breakfast."

"Here's the folder with what you asked."

Gemma looked up at Juice. Taking the folder from him before browsing through the files.

"Everything that I could find is in there." Juice explained looking over his shoulder before stepping closer. "She's got a clean background. No criminal history but she's got ties with the club. Not sure how much she knows about it."

"What do you mean she's got ties to the club?"

Juice nodded before taking the folder from her. Rifling through the papers until he found what he was looking for. "That's her birth certificate filed after her adoption. This is her original birth certificate. Look at the father's name."

"Shit." Gemma breathed out as she read the information. Staring at a name she knew all too well. "Fucking Piney."

"I don't even know if the old man knows or if she knows. But other than that she's clean."

Gemma nodded. "Okay. Don't mention this to anyone. At least, not until we figure out if Piney and Carrie know about this."

Carrie opened the door. Motioning for Piney to come in. "Thanks for coming by. Do you know if Opie is going to make it. I thought it'd be easier to explain it to him and give the results without having to repeat everything twice."

"He said he would. He was just stopping by the house to see Donna and the kids." Piney answered before taking a seat at the table next to Kip. "You can go back to the club. See if they need you there."

"Thanks for breakfast Carrie." Kip said before getting up to leave.

"You're welcome. It was nice getting to know you. I hope you'll still drop by even if you're not on guard duty." Carrie smiled at him, while walking him to the door. Waiting for him to ride off before shutting the door.

"You made the prospect food? He was just supposed to sit there and watch over until you went to work."

"I work the night shift today, I'm not going in until seven. Besides it's the least I could do since he's been out there for a week." Carrie shrugged as her doorbell was rung. Receiving a grunt in response as she walked towards the door.

"Hey, come on in." Carrie opened the door, stepping aside to let Opie in. "Have a seat at the table. I'll be right back."

Carrie walked down the hall just as Opie greeted Piney. Quickly grabbing everything before making her way back down the hall to the kitchen. "Did you guys eat already? I can make something or order some food?"

"I should be heading back to the club soon." Opie informed while he looked between Piney and Carrie.

"We'll see how this goes first," Piney answered before motioning towards her. "We're both here, so the floor is yours."

Carrie cleared her throat before placing the paperwork Stahl had showed her in from of Opie. "That's my adoption paperwork with both of my birth certificates. Pre adoption and afterwards. According to the original birth certificate Piney's my dad. I didn't know until Stahl took me down to the station a couple of weeks ago. She's the one who broke the news."

Opie rifled through the paperwork. Before looking up at her. "What's to say this is true? Stahl is ATF and she's after the club."

"That was what I thought too. Until the initial DNA test using a sample from you, showed a match." Carrie placed that paper in from of him. "Siblings tend to have a fifty percent DNA match while half siblings tend to have a twenty five percent match. Given that if it were true, you and I would be half siblings since we share the same father but not the same mother. So if there was any familial link it'd be at twenty five percent, which you see here."

Carrie pointed out the information. Explaining what the medical jargon meant. "Before you ask, Donna got the sample. I asked her not to say anything until we knew there was a possibility. That all this could be true." Carrie explained motion towards the papers. "Once I found out. Phase two started, which was to get Piney to do the paternal DNA testing. Only this time we did blood samples instead of swabbing his cheek. That way we got a more accurate read."

Carrie held up the unopened envelope. "I just got this yesterday and I haven't opened it yet. So the results are still sealed in here. Now I wanted you two here, to not only explain to you, Opie, what was going on but to read the results together. That way we all know at the same time and there's no need to repeat information."

Piney and Opie were quiet. Opie was still processing the information while Piney waited for Carrie to read the results. They both watched as she took a deep breath before opening the envelope. "It's a 99.99% match. You're my father."

Carrie dropped into her seat handing the paper over to Piney. Staring a hole at the table, feeling a swirl of emotions run through her. She knew this was going to be the result but she wasn't fully prepared. A part of her hoped that it wasn't true, that there had been some type of mistake. Or that this was some elaborate plan of Stahl's to get information from the club. But the proof was right there.

"Shit Pop, I knew you weren't a saint but I din't know you had another kid out there." Opie broke the silence before looking back at the papers in front of him.

"Believe me, I didn't know either." Piney answered taking a deep breath. "Something still feels off though."

"Well according to this. You knocked up June Stahl back in the summer of 1981." Opie held up the paper.

"Well I surely didn't knock up that ATF bitch." Piney pointed out. "That summer we were over at Indian Hills. Visiting Jury and helping them out. Met a young redhead, spent the night with her and the rest is history. I may not remember every woman I've slept with, but I remember this one."

Carrie sat up, leaning towards Piney. "Do you remember her name?"

Piney mulled it over for a moment. Trying to recall if he ever got a name from the fiery redhead. Before finally remembering. "It was Julia. I don't remember if I got a last name. But she said her parents were Irish. She was on break from school and a friend had invited her to the club for a party."

"Well at least you can testify that her mother isn't Stahl." Opie pointed out. "So that part was falsified here. She most likely thought you wouldn't look into it and just take her word for it. Given that this seems pretty legit."

Carrie looked between them. "So what do we do now?"

Opie shook his head. Looking between Piney and Carrie. "We can use this to our advantage. I say we bring this up to the club. Let them in on it and see how they want this to play out."

So there you have it.

Not only is it confirmed that Piney is her father but he just debunked Stahl's possibility at being Carrie's mother. Not to mention Opie wants to bring the news to the table.

How do you think that little info will go down?

Anyways fair warning the next chapter may frustrate or anger some of you. So I apologize in advance but keep in mind that everything happens for a reason. Even if that reason isn't explained right away it will eventually be answered.
