It was nearly midnight, yet Harry couldn't sleep. He couldn't stop thinking about his encounters with Ginny earlier. It was so…. weird. He didn't know that- wait. I'm getting ahead of myself. Let me rewind the story.
The day before...
Harry was just coming back to the Gryffindor Common room from dinner when he ran into Ginny Weasley. He had known Ginny for a while, after all she is one of his best friend's, Ron, sister. Ginny had had a crush on Harry when he was in his 1-3 year, but she grew out of that when she was in her 3rd year, and he was in his 4th. Or so he thought.
Anyways, when he ran into Ginny she had fallen backwards, and he had fallen forwards resulting in a sort of.. Awkward position. Harry caught himself by putting his hands on either side of the girl before he could crush her with his body weight.
"Shit." Harry said nonchalant, as he looked around trying to find a way to get up without falling atop Ginny, who was still underneath him. When he looked back at Ginny, he saw that her face was almost as red as her fiery Weasley hair. "I- um- we- hehe..." Harry stumbled with his words as he tried his best to keep himself up in a sort of sit-up position.
"Maybe try… rolling over?" Ginny suggested.
"What? Oh! Yeah, that could work…" Harry rolled over so he was on his back next to Ginny. He got up, then helped Ginny up off the floor.
"Thanks." Ginny said, before turning around and heading towards the girls' sleeping quarters.
"Wait Ginny!" Harry called after her before he realized what he was doing.
"What?" She asked, turning around to face Harry.
"Um.. I don't-" Harry began, trying to figure out why he had called after her. "I don't know." He finally said. "Um.. Nevermind- I guess." He went to sit in his favorite chair next to the fireplace. He thought that Ginny had gone upstairs, but soon after he sat down Ginny came over and sat with him.
Later That Night..
The second 'encounter' Harry had with Ginny was after quidditch practice. Harry is the captain of the team, and Ginny is one of the few girls on the team. As captain, it's Harry's job to make sure everybody is out of the locker room by 8, and he usually showers really fast after he does that. Today's practice was particularly long and hard however, so he decided to take a longer shower. Well, it just so happened that Ginny always stays late to make sure nobody sees her, as she is one of the few girls.
Now, you might be thinking, 'Why isn't there a girls locker room?' but I don't have a good reason, so let's just say there aren't enough girls on the teams to make one, or something like that.
Anyways, Ginny didn't think anything of it when she walked in the locker room and heard the shower running. Usually at least one other girl also stayed behind, so she just figured it was one of them.
Harry didn't notice that another shower was running until he turned his own off. And once he did, he was so confused. He stood there in the shower not sure what to do.
Meanwhile, Ginny had noticed that the other shower was turned off, and by the time she was done she figured that whoever was there, had left.
Harry eventually decided that it was safe to go out, but as soon as he opened the curtain, he knew he had just f*$!ed up. For Ginny had opened her shower curtain at the same time. Of course, Ginny didn't notice Harry had opened his curtain and thought that the locker room was empty, so she didn't wrap up in her towel right away. In her defense though, her towel was on the other side of the room. And surprise! So was Harry's. As soon as Harry realized who was in the locker room with him, he yanked the curtain back to its place. Ginny, now realizing that someone was there, but not knowing who, practically ran towards her towel and rapped up as soon as she could.
"Who's there?!" She practically shouted, a tone of slight anger in her voice.
Harry very, very slowly peeked his head out from behind the curtain. Once Ginny saw it was him, her face turned red again.
"Oh, um.." Ginny began, looking down at her feet. "You didn't- see me, did you?"
"Well-" Harry was about to lie, but he realized there wasn't really a point. "Yeah, kind of."
"Well, come out then."
"Pardon?"
"You saw me, I think it's only fair that I see you."
"Oh- um.. Ok" Harry slowly drew back the curtain, and walked over to where Ginny, and his towel, were. Once he wrapped the towel around his waist, he looked at Ginny, who was smirking at him. "What?" He laughed.
Ginny stood up on her tiptoes (Harry was much taller than her) and kissed the boy. As Harry was not expecting the kiss, he stumbled backwards.
"Oh- um.." Ginny fumbled with her words. "Sorry.." She said sheepishly as she reached down to help Harry up. Harry grabbed her hand, and stood up. Ginny was about to turn around and grab her clothes, put Harry lightly pushed her against the lockers, and started to kiss her.
There they stood, snogging against the lockers in nothing but towels, when suddenly someone walked in. Ron.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!"
