Percy
Today was the day, June 20th. The day before everyone, beside Piper and the children who weren't seven yet, had to leave on the ship and head towards Athens. The Ship was huge and beautiful. Crafted beautifully, the rarest and strongest wood, gold and bronze details, and a ton of weapons. Armor was made for the gods and demigods. They polish and sharpened their weapons. But what really broke Percy and Annabeth's hearts was Lucy. Percy held Annabeth as she called for Lucy to come over. Everyone else was on board. Athena had little tears in her eyes and Poseidon held her as they waited for them to say goodbye to Lucy. Everyone was already heartbroken after seeing Piper cry her eyes out, begging Jason to stay with her. Jason told her he couldn't but promised he would be back. The naiads held her as she sobbed. Carol swore on the River Styx that she and her naiads would give their lives before they let anyone hurt the children and Piper. Lucy walked over to Percy and Annabeth, tears already in her eyes. 'I'm so sorry, Lucy. I really am.' Percy thought. Annabeth picked up Lucy and held her for dear life. Percy gripped them tighter. Lucy sobbed and Annabeth was weeping as well.
"Please, come back, Mommy and Daddy." Lucy begged.
"Don't worry, Sweetie. We'll be back." Annabeth said. Percy pushed a bronze barrette into Lucy's hand.
"Here you go, Lucy. This is from us and Grandma and Grandpa. It'll protect you when you need it. We love you." Percy said and kissed his daughter's forehead. Annabeth kissed on her cheek.
"Love you Mommy. Love you Daddy." Lucy whispered. Soon, the parents really did have to leave. Annabeth kissed Lucy's forehead one more time before handing her to Carol.
"Protect her." Annabeth begged, tears still in her eyes.
"With my life, My Lady." Carol said and bowed. They climbed onto the ship and waved goodbye as the Ship left in to the sea in an air bubble. Percy saw Lucy sobbing and yelled,
"MOMMY, DADDY, PLEASE COME BACK!" Percy's heart broke in two and Annabeth sobbed. Percy held her close as she continued to sob. Annabeth gripped him tightly as everyone took pity on them. The two are wonderful parents to Lucy and they loved her so much that leaving her in the palace, broke their hearts. Percy whispered into Annabeth's ear,
"We'll come back for her. I'll make sure we'll see her again. I swear on the River..." Percy started but Annabeth stopped him.
"Thank you." She whispered but she was still crying. Percy walked her down the stairs of the ship until Percy decided to carry Annabeth the rest of the way to their room. There, Annabeth still sobbed and Percy let a tear escape his eye. Annabeth caught it but she had much more tears in her.
Soon, Annabeth tears calmed down until Annabeth couldn't cry anymore. 'I swear I'll make sure Annabeth gets back to Lucy.' Percy thought.
"I love you." Annabeth whispered.
"I love you too." Percy said, kissing her.
Everyone waited for them to come back. Annabeth was still sad and Percy felt pain. 'I should have left her with Lucy.' Percy thought. The war council meeting was held in the grand dining room. Percy held Annabeth close as they sat next to their parents. Athena looked sad. Poseidon tried to make her calm, but Athena mood didn't change.
"Let's have order." Poseidon said. The room fell silent. Almost 200 demi-gods stared at the true King of the Gods. Rhea sat in the chair to the right of him, since Athena was next to him.
"We still have a problem. Athens is populated with millions of people we have to get them away." Rhea said. Athena looked down and said,
"I have an idea, I will give them shelter." Everyone looked at her, confused.
"When my people had been dying, they would go to my acropolis. I'll use my powers to make it like it was and we'll shelter them there." Athena explained. Everyone thought that was a good idea, but Zeus said,
"If you make like it was, that's a one way ticket to Olympus."
"What?" Athena yelled.
"I enchanted your statue in there to open a portal to Olympus." Zeus explained. "When that statue was destroyed, it caused your temple to fall because the magic in the statue exploded." Athena looked like she wanted to rip his head off as she stood from the Queen's throne. Poseidon put his hand on her shoulder and shook his hand. Athena nodded and sat again, still glaring Zeus.
"It was a good idea at the time." Zeus tried.
"Now, I have no place to put my people." Athena said, rubbing her temples. Hypnos woke up and said,
"I'll sleepwalk them to the docks and they'll fall asleep on the boat and we'll have the current bring them to the sea."
"That could work." Poseidon said. Hypnos waved his hand and mumble,
"They're... on... the... ships." Then Hypos fell asleep, again. Poseidon waved his hand and said,
"I'm sending them to Abyss. He'll bring then to the palace unharmed." Athena sighed with relief. Her people were safe. 'Well, with the mortals' safe, we can fight Gaea without problems with the mortals.' Percy thought. Dinner went on and everyone went to bed early. Tomorrow, Romans, Greeks, Demigods, and Gods, fighting together to defeat Gaea and protect Mount Olympus.
A/N Hey guys its been quite a while since I've updated this story and I know that my erratic behaviour hasn't been the best. To be honest, I've been finding it hard to do the things that need to be done with expectations and challenges being thrown at my face constantly.
It is with sad regret to tell you guys that this story is coming to an end, looking back on this story I really can't believe it would have gotten this far. With so many grammatical errors and certain sentences not making any sense. I feel with this story that it only has around 3-4 chapters and possibly making a sequel could be in the works if I actually got off my ass and started writing.
Thank you for all the wonderful people reading and enjoying this story, putting up with delays and all sorts. From the bottom of my heart I love you guys and hopefully I actually finish this. Eh?
