"DT?" Scorpio asked, getting her attention.
DT turned to her friend. "Yes, Scorpio?"
"Can I show you something?" Scorpio asked. He seemed nervous about something.
"Sure." DT answered. "But why are you nervous?"
"Come with me." Scorpio answered, avoiding the question.
DT was confused. After all, Scorpio seemed unsure of himself, as if he was questioning if what he was doing was right.
DT followed Scorpio through the palace and into his quarters. He stopped and turned to DT.
"Just promise me that you won't tell everyone what you saw." He asked her.
"Scorpio, is something wrong?" DT asked, suspicious of her friend.
"Well, yes. But promise me that you won't tell anyone else about this."
DT sighed. "I promise I won't tell anyone. But knowing Jus, he might find out anyways." She laughed, before stopping when she saw that Scorpio wasn't laughing with her.
"Capricorn, I'm serious." Scorpio told her. "You're the one person I still trust. If anyone else finds out about this..." He went silent.
"Fine, show me what you wanted to show me."
She followed Scorpio into his room and he told her what he was hiding.
"I made an Undertale universe on my own." He admitted. DT's eyes lit up.
"That's great, Scorpio!" She congratulated. "That means you won the bet! You-"
"I didn't do it for the bet." Scorpio stopped her. "I did it for a different reason."
"What's that?" DT asked.
Scorpio sighed. He waved his hand and a portal appeared. It showed three people, a blue-skinned human with a sword and a shield, a purple dinosaur wielding an ax, and a black goat with a robe and a hat, all fighting a strange looking creature on what looked to be a bicycle.
"I know, I know." Scorpio said. "It looks nothing like what a normal Undertale universe looks like. But I did it all by memory, so this was what came out."
DT stared at the portal in wonder. "You still managed to make a universe, why would you want to hide something like that?"
"Go back to the beginning." Scorpio said. DT did so and started to go through the world as normal. When she was done, she started over but tried something different. She struck every enemy instead of sparing them. Very little changed.
"What the...?" DT asked.
"Try making an order." Scorpio suggested. DT did so, but nothing happened. She tried changing reality, nothing happened. No matter what she did, nothing happened.
"Why is nothing changing?" DT asked, frustrated.
"Because I made it that way." Scorpio answered. "I made it so that nothing can be changed. Everyone has free will. And most importantly, no Judge, not even I, can change it."
DT was shocked. "You made it this way? Why?"
"Because I don't want people to be puppets to us Judges anymore." Scorpio answered. "I want people to have free will and be happy. Even if I don't get any recognition for it."
"Scorpio, what you are doing can be considered treason. You could get banished for it." DT warned him.
"Which is why I don't want you to tell anyone about this. Promise me that, please." Scorpio begged.
DT gulped. "I won't. I won't tell anyone."
She than walked out of her friend's chamber, filled with regret.
Spoiler alert, she lied to me. She told everyone about what I did. Because that was what she thought was the right thing to do.
I don't get it. Why would she do that? I trusted her, I was her friend, I was someone she could talk to, and I loved her.
But she threw that all out for a better spot in the council.
But hey, the more we learn, the more we grow and change.
And besides, it's not like she'll be around for much longer.
Another spooky intermission, I see. Yay!
I understand this has no relevance to the story, but all of the Judges have horns. DT just covers her's up with her hair. That's why no one has mentioned it before now.
Just thought I should say that in case any madman (or woman) decides to make fanart of my characters.
