Wow, look at that, only a month later. You can blame that on college being hard and me needing time to get back into writing. I hope you guys are staying safe!

Sabrina Grimm prided herself on being able to always have the upper hand in conversations. She was smart, cunning and could predict your next move even before you knew what you were doing.

However, having entirely different expectations over the course of this meeting, and definitely not expecting to be asked to murder a complete stranger, something she's never done before, for the price of The Master agrees to help free her parents...So, She was surprised.

Sue her.

Apparently, the voice picked up on this because he gave a sadistic chuckle.

"You don't have to give me an answer right away, though, I don't know the next time I'll be able to offer your parents back..if ever," He trailed off. Sabrina couldn't see him, of course, but she was sure he was smirking. She closed her eyes tightly and sucked in a breath.

There was only one right answer.

"I'll do it," Her voice was quiet, but confident.

She was good at faking confidence.

Now there was a smile in the man's voice,"Excellent. I'll have you sent over there monday morning. Any information you need will be sent with the woman that brought you here," Sabrina noticed she was still standing in the doorway silently, her lips pressed together tightly.

Sabrina, sensing this particular meeting was over, made her way out before she could change her mind,

Her hand was on the doorknob when the voice spoke again.

"Sabrina…" She turned her head. She could hear a smile in his voice.

"I'm proud of you. This will all be worth it." Sabrina nodded, smiling slightly and ducked her head out of the room.

Back at training, Sabrina was practicing at knife throwing in one of the more secluded arenas in the kingdom with Belle, who was watching her above in a tree while flipping through a book Sabrina was certain she had seen her read ten times before this. She couldn't judge her, it's not like they were exactly offered a lot here.

"So, you're going to be gone for how long?" Bella asked, not bothering to take her eyes off her page.

Sabrina threw another knife. Bullseye.

"I told you, I don't know. I'm being sent over to the Trickster Kingdom and I guess I'll be back when I have what he needs…" She trailed off, focused on her target, and purposely not looking at Bella. She frowned.

"You don't know what you're meant to be doing there?"

She shook her head."No," She lied easily, "I guess he just wants me to get a feel for the kingdom, probably see how easy it is to infiltrate, learn the layout...You know." She trailed off, throwing another knife.

Bullseye again.

Bella nodded, lowering her eyes back to her book."I've heard the men there are quuuuuite good looking." She said, smirking slightly.

Sabrina laughed."I can promise you, that is not why I'm there," She said. Unless that would make killing one of them easier, she thought to herself.

Bella grinned."Oh, come on! Your missions are always all work and no play...maybe it's time for you to enjoy yourself there."

"I think I can find ways to amuse myself while keeping on the pants of those trickster boys," She scrunched her nose at the thought.

"Well, suit yourself. You ready for dinner?" Sabrina nodded, collecting her knives and putting them back at her side.

"Actually...I'll meet you up there in a bit. I need to see Daphne before I go." She said, and wandered off after Bella gave a soft 'okay'.

Daphne didn't really get to go out much. That is to say, she wasn't really allowed to. She worked in the potions room, slaving away and helping to make different potions and magical salves all day. It was quiet work, unlike Sabrina's, but she didn't hate it.

She did wish she get to see Sabrina more though

So, when her sister dropped in, she grinned at her and ran to embrace her."Sabrina!"
Sabrina smiled and held her for a moment."Daphne, you're going to crush my ribs!" She said, laughing.

Daphne grinned up at her."Like I'm going to be the thing that kills you." She said, sitting down and smiling up at her."What are you doing up here? Got any stories? Or do you need something? They have me working on something to help with dragon burns...You haven't got a dragon burn have you?" She said, suddenly panicking. Sabrina laughed with ease.

"No, no, I just…"She faltered, not sure how much to tell her. On one hand, this was Daphne and she told Daphne everything. On the other...She wasn't sure she could look at her innocent eyes and tell her what she had to do and wasn't ready to get her hopes up about her parents.

That and saying it out loud made it real.

She smiled at her again, wearing armor built of false confidence."I have a short mission coming up. I'm leaving tomorrow, just wanted to say goodbye before I left. It won't be long."

Daphne stared at her for a moment and pouted slightly."It's not fair I never get to come."

Sabrina rolled her eyes and looked at her, playing with one of the vials on the table."If you came, who would be here to make," she looked at the bottle and frowned," Daphne, what is this for?"

Daphne gave a sheepish smile as she took the bottle out of her hands."You don't want to know! Let's just say, it's for the men in this castle only." She said, blushing and looking down.

Sabrina guaffed."That's disgusting!"

Daphne laughed."I'm just the one who makes it! I don't touch any of this stuff…" She said, putting the bottle away."Where are you going?"

"The Trickster Kingdom."

Daphne squealed."They have the HOTTEST princes there!"

Great. This again.

She groaned."I'm not doing this with you!" She said, rolling her eyes. Daphne sighed and asked her a few more questions, Sabrina gave her the half-truths she gave Belle.

"Give me a hug, I need dinner soon, I'm heading to bed and leaving early in the morning."

Daphne smiled sadly and gave her a tight hug."I love you. Be safe?"

Sabrina pressed her lips to her forehead, scared she was letting on she was going to be safer than this was."I love you. Always."

Dinner was normal, Sabrina made light conversation with Belle and Mulan before making her way back to her cell. She tried to pack up the small things she brought everywhere-her dagger, the locket with a small note her parents had left her, and a bracelet Daphne had bought her for her birthday when she heard a knock and a man came in.

She raised an eyebrow."Hello?" She said, as the man stiffly nodded and handed her a small piece of paper.

She looked at it, then back at the man."What is this?"

He raised an eyebrow at her."It's from the master." He said as if she was dumb. He nodded curtly before walking out. Sabrina sat on her bed and flipped the picture over to see a blonde boy with bright green eyes staring back at her

Her first thought was of Belle and Daphne's words and she was a little embarrassed to be agreeing immensely with them.

Her second thought came with a stomach plunge. There was a reason The Master sent up this photo.

This was the man she was going to have to kill.

She read the name on the bottom. She hadn't heard it before.

Puck Goodfellow.
