Chapter 1

So dying wasn't so bad, but I don't think that it is very fair for me to say that as I died in my sleep after saying goodbye to my family. I had been sick for a couple of years and knew that I was going to die soon, so I got my whole family together to say goodbye. I didn't want them to see me at the end. I knew it was just going to make it harder. All of my kids, grandkids, and great grandkids were there. The oldest being 57 and the youngest 16, we could all have a quiet last day. We spent the day in the park near my house, and it was like the world wanted me to have one last great day with my family. It was early fall, so the leaves had turned but they hadn't fallen yet. We all just walked around the park, they took turns pushing me as I was in a wheelchair. I learned that I was going to be a great grandmother again. When it started to get chilly we went back to the house to have one last dinner together. We said our goodbyes one at a time and dragged it out for as long as we could. I finally kicked them out and went to bed. I didn't wake up in this world again.

The first time I was aware of my surroundings after my death I was surrounded by darkness. The only thing I could actually see was a blue screen in front of me. "Welcome to the Game of Life." I stared at it for about a minute realizing that I had died a lot quicker and easier than I thought I would before the screen changed "Is it ok if I continue?" I gave a sad smile and a nod then the next screen showed up quicker than the first. "Congratulations, you have passed your first world [Earth] and have no outstanding atrocities. You may now pick the next world you wish to live in. A list has been put together for your convenience. Please pick a world to join and then we may begin your character creation." As I look down the list of worlds I see that most of them are fictional worlds from my past life. When I finished scrolling down the list I selected one of my favorites, why not start out with the best. "Very nice choice, would you now like to start character selection?"

I nodded and the screen changed to a character creation sheet. "Would you like to make your body from scratch or base it off someone else?" I thought on this for a little bit, on one side character creation would probably take a while but it also didn't seem like there was any sort of time limit. So with that in mind I started creating my body. I was right in that it took a while most of it was normal stuff like gender: female, hair color: red, eye color: green, stuff like that but there were other things that took a bit more thought like bloodline or affinities.

There were a lot to choose from, so I decided on the Uzumaki as my bloodline and my five affinities were: Earth, Wind, Crafting, Stealth, and Combat. I wanted to take broad affinities because while I wouldn't get bonuses for specializing I would be able to branch off into a bunch of different directions. Once I had finished, a loading screen appeared. "Well done, now before you begin your second life there are a few more things that need to be done. First, you have no major sins against so you will receive no demerits. However you have a lot of graces such as giving to charity and instilling virtues into your children. This means that you will receive one randomized benefit for this world. This will carry over into all other worlds that you go to. In a moment you will spin a wheel which will have all of the different gifts that you could receive on it."

After that screen disappeared a big wheel appeared. It was split into about a hundred segments each with a different benefit inscribed on it. "There are many different things that you can get from this, you can get an extra bloodline or increased chakra pool. There are some that would probably be more a hindrance like increased popularity or inability to sleep. It all depends on your luck, now spin that wheel and see what you get." I reached out and spun the wheel hoping to get that extra bloodline. The copy eye would be really cool.

The wheel spun for about a minute before stopping on a space. "Congratulations you have received the benefit of Gamer's Eyes. This is one of the best you can get, right behind Gamer's Body, Gamer's Mind, and Inventory. Your eyes now have an extra ability to see information with the application of chakra to your eyes. What sort of information I will leave you to find that out. This will not affect your current bloodline." I thought for a while on what type information I would be able to see. After a couple minutes I gave up and waited for the next screen. "Three more things to say before it is time for your new life. One, both the time and place of your arrival will be randomized two, you will be four years old when you get there, and last but not least you will retain some of your knowledge that you have learned throughout your life but not your memories of this or your past life." Before I could say anything in complaint I was suddenly in some random section of woods.

I looked up to the sky wondering for a moment where I was before picking a direction and starting to walk. It took about 3 hours of walking and resting in periods before I made it to a road. By that time it was starting to get later in the day so I decided to take a little break on the side of the road. After about an hour of rest I saw something coming down the road. I got up and saw that it was a horse drawn carriage with one older man driving it with an older woman and a child sitting next to him. I got up and started walking towards them. They slowed down once they got close to me. The man leaned over "What are you doing all the way out here little one?" I paused for a moment realizing that he was speaking Japanese, speaking the language myself I was able to respond in kind "I don't know, I woke up in the woods about three hours ago." He looked at me with pity and motioned me to come closer which I did. "Would you like to come with us, little one?" I nodded and he picked me up, putting me on top of a crate in the carriage. "Where are we going?" I asked as I got settled in. The man started the carriage back up before answering me. "We are going to the hidden leaf village."
