While Ichigo was getting dressed, Toshinori decided to do the same as he mulled over all of the information that he'd gathered on his new wife thus far. Chad had been fairly enthusiastic about telling him of her childhood.

Which was great and all, but made him just a tad bit envious as well. Not because he was actually jealous or anything. But because the younger man had grown up with her and knew practically everything about her. They were more than just besties.

They were practically siblings! Why Chad was like Ichigo's equivalent of her very own Sir Nighteye.

Toshinori's former sidekick, friend and number one fan.

Their relationship was a little bit difficult to define because it was literally all over the place. For example, the dynamic between the two seemed to constantly be changing from one extreme to another. And it wasn't a difficult change either. It was smooth, effortless.

But most of all, it was beyond comfortable for the two.

For god's sake, they didn't even have to speak to know what the other wanted! He couldn't help but wonder if his wife's relationship with her other friends was anything similar. Because if so- it was going to frigging fascinating to sit down somewhere and observe them in a casual setting.

But it also raised all sorts of questions with him too. Questions like, did she have a close friend that she considered her equivalent of his own David Shield? To be perfectly honest, he was pretty anxious to find out. So much so that he nearly choked himself trying to tie his tie correctly.

"You doing okay in there?" He heard Chad ask him from outside the bedroom.

"Yes. I'm fine." He replied.

"Alright," Chad said before then going on to say, "I got hold of Ichigo's sisters. They're going to have me pick them up and take them to the place that you picked. It'll take about an hour or so to wrangle Karin into a dress and make her presentable. Isshin is working late at the hospital so he'll have to catch you some other time. That means that you and Ichigo will be alone for a bit."

Toshinori glanced towards the door. Wondering what the man was hinting at when he went on to say, "She'll insist on walking to the place. And she'll probably wear flats because heels usually make her trip and fall. Also, there's a flower shop not too far from here." Toshinori blinked as it dawned on him what the other man was trying to do. "Her favorite flower is white peony. But purple cosmo's or something will work well too."

Once he finally finished tying his tie in place, Toshinori took a moment to give himself a once over before then walking over to the door and opening it and poking his head out and saying, "You're a good wing man Chad."

The other man merely looked at him and smiled faintly before replying with a small shrug of his shoulders. "Meh, I try." And then walked off to see what was taking Ichigo so long to get dressed. Because apparently it usually didn't take her very long at all to dress herself.

Toshinori heard the man mutter something about possibly being unable to figure out is she needed to wear flats with her dress or makeup. So she'd probably need a man's opinion on both.

He found that he didn't mind the other man helping his wife get ready for their first official date since she would be more comfortable with her friend helping her anyways.

Ichigo was trying to figure out if she needed to put her hair up or not when Chad poked his head into the bathroom and looked at her.

She had decided to wear the sapphire dress after all. Which was good since it looked really nice on her. However the fact that she was in the early stages of her pregnancy tended to show through in the sickly paleness of her skin. Honestly, she looked like someone had white washed her with watered down lead paint.

It was such an unhealthy color that it alarmed him slightly.

"Ichigo?"

She barely looked at him as she dropped her arms, letting her hair fall back into place. "I'm fine, Chad. I already plan to use some foundation and blush to try and look..." She motioned to the mirror hanging up on the bathroom wall and then sighed as she said. "More up to par. I wouldn't want to embarrass the poor man by looking like I'm a corpse or something, right?"

She meant it as a joke. But her words were anything but funny to him.

"If he gets embarrassed by his pregnant wife for looking pale and a tad bit sickly because of her morning sickness, then he isn't much of a man." Chad said, hoping to make her feel a bit better.

It must have worked a little bit because she gave him a faint smile before she grabbed a rhinestone covered hair clip and then began to pull her hair up again.

She didn't go for anything overly complicated, she didn't seem to have the energy for anything complicated or intricate at the moment.

Instead she merely twisted her hair and then clipped it up into place up off of her nape and then grabbed some of the makeup that he kept piled in the corner- just in case she or someone else- like Rukia or Orihime decided to drop in on him and stay a while.

"Do you need any help?"

"Nah. I got this." She said as she prepared to put some foundation on.

He nodded and decided to leave her be. Though he would be checking her before she left to make sure that she didn't overdo it a bit. She didn't need to go to dinner with her husband looking like a clown.

She'd catch all kinds of grief from her sisters if she did.
