Sometime after the events in Wonderland, Raven was walking down the hall with people chasing after her.
"Raven, can you help me, I chipped my nail and gave myself a splinter," said Cedar as she held up her right hand.
"Alright, but next time ask someone for a nail cutter, or maybe a tweezer," said Raven before using her magic to heal the wooden girl's nail.
"Hey Raven, you on your way to visit you know who?" asked Apple as she walked up.
"I am," said Raven before leaving.
"Remember, stay away from the glass," said Apple. A few minutes later, Raven was climbing up a staircase to the tower.
"Nevermore, oh, who's been a good dragon?" asked Raven as she approached the dragon.
"It's alright, Nevermore, I can handle my mother," said Raven as she looked up at the spiral staircase while the dragon hid at her feet. After climbing up all the stairs, Raven approached the mirror.
"Raven dear, it's good to see you," said the Evil Queen who was on an elliptical bike within her prison.
"So, how do I look?" asked the Evil Queen as she changed out of her work clothes and the bike vanished in a puff of purple smoke.
"You look good, mom," said Raven with an eye roll.
"So, Raven, are you ready to give up on this whole Rebel thing and to learn some of my magic?" asked the Evil Queen.
"How many times do I have to say it, I'm never going to be like you," said Raven.
"Why are you so stubborn, with the power you got from signing the book you could take over this world, don't you remember what it felt like to let loose with all of that power?!" asked the Evil Queen.
"I remember how cold and dark it was, I remember how I almost killed someone because it drove me crazy, if it had not been for Apple," said Raven as her hands started to tremble from the memory.
"Yes, if it had not been for that pathetic princess," said the Evil Queen.
"Don't you dare call Apple pathetic!" said Raven as her magic started to burn in her eyes. But it was snuffed out almost as fast as it had started burning.
"Tch, nice try mother," said Raven as she noticed a small grin on her mother's face.
"You were trying to make me mad enough so that I would lose control and break the mirror, but you're not getting out that easy," said Raven.
"Since when were you this calm?" asked the Evil Queen who was surprised by her daughter's demeanor.
"People can change, mother, I had hoped you would learn that first hand, but obviously that will never happen, you will always be the Evil Queen," said Raven as she turned to leave.
"Don't you walk away from me, Raven, Raven!" said the Evil Queen as she pounded on the glass of the mirror. Raven just kept walking away with Nevermore behind her and her mother continuing to scream her name.
