Part 2

We entered the forest and there was uncomfortable silence ever since. It was getting dark so we stopped and started a bonfire. Me and Hikaru knew what was going in each others heads, while Kakashi was confused and wondering why were we acting weird.

- "Are you okay?" Hikaru whispered to me.

- "I am now, i just hope i will be okay after we get out of this place."

- "I got you okay, you'll be fine." He smiled and hugged me. My eyes met Kakashis and he quickly looked away.

Hikaru went to catch some fish for dinner and I decided not to bother him, i was playing with my powers and moving stuff around, when i noticed Kakashi on the tree, reading his book. I got curious, he read that book every time he had chance, i had to know what was so interesting about it. I snatched the book from his hand with my powers and he jumped down and started to run towards me but i used my right hand to stop him and he was practically frozen in place.

- "Mayumi stop it!" He said irritated.

- "Come on, I'll just have a quick look, what's the problem."

- "Don't open it!" He yelled.

- "Wow, it's the first time you lost your cool, now i just have to know." I smiled and opened the book.

- "Hey, stop it!" He started to get angry and struggled trying to move.

- "You're a pervert." I started to laugh and stopped using my powers.

- "Shut up!" He snatched the book away from me and I noticed his blushed cheek.

- "Oh come on, so what, I'm not judging." I try to talk with a serious face but can't stop smiling like an idiot.

- "It's not funny." He said with his usual calm voice and went to sit near the bonfire.

- "I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable. But how was I supposed to know what the book was about." I try to defend myself.

- "You're like a five year old." He lets out a deep sigh.

- "Sorry, I was just trying to distract myself." I say starting to worry again.

- "From what?" He asked as he noticed my concerned face.

- "My own thoughts." I shrug.

As he was about to say something, Hikaru got back and Kakashi decided to stay quiet. He insisted on making dinner as Hikaru caught the fish. Usually I would try to make everyone talk and get to know each other, but my mind was somewhere else and i just didn't care, I wanted to get out that forest as soon as possible, it was bringing a lot of bad memories back. I laid down and tried to fall asleep, so that the morning could come sooner.

Hikarus pov.

As i was about to give Mayumi her fish, I noticed that she had fallen asleep.

- "Is she okay? She's been acting weird today." I hear Kakashi.

- "This place has an impact on her." I say covering her with a blanket.

- "what kind of impact?" Kakashi said confused.

- "I met her here 3 years ago, she didn't remember her past, still doesn't. We've been together ever since, she used to have nightmares every night at first, but they kinda faded away, last time was 3 months ago. This place brings her back and she's afraid that the nightmares will come back. To be honest I'm worried too."

- "Than we can sleep in shifts, so we can wake her up if something happens." He says with calm voice.

- "It's not that, when she's having a nightmare, sometimes she can't control her powers, she's worried that she might hurt us."

- "Why? Did she hurt someone before?"

- "Mostly herself, but she's healing pretty fast."

- "Mostly?"

- "Once she broke the windows and i got several cuts, she was so worried that she refused to sleep when i was at home. She's been doing great for the last couple of months. once the nightmares stopped, she got more confident and got her powers under control, i just don't want her to lose faith in herself."
