Days went by and while Hikaru was training his ass off, i was finding out more about the village's situation. I learned about Sasuke from Kakashi, he seemed to care about him, so I kept my mouth shut, but I honestly didn't get the guy for treating people that way, he didn't appreciated what he had, but on the other hand, I didn't know what he felt. I found out about the Akatsuki from Tsunade but she didn't seemed to know much either. Everyone was training to get better and so did i, i had people around me now, people i cared about and wanted to get better, to be able to fight alongside them, to prove to everyone that even though I wasn't a shinobi, I could still defend and fight for this village, my village.
I was on my way from my intense training to meet Hikaru and Genma to eat, when it happened, we were under attack.
Everything was happening so fast, I couldn't see clearly or hear anything except buzzing. I didn't knew what to do, I started to run to reach Hikaru, but then all of sudden I heard something, I heard screams and crying and then i saw children and started running to help them, hoping that Hikaru would handle himself. People were evacuating, so i took everyone i met on my way, clearing path with my powers so that no one would get hurt and took them to safety. Then i got back in the streets and did it again, and again, trying to help as many people as i could. Buildings were being demolished, everything was out of order and everyone was panicking. I wasn't able to spot any familiar face and couldn't help but worry about everyone i knew. I guided my third group of people to safety and was on my way to find others when i saw Hikaru engaged in intense battle. It was one of them, the Akatsuki, he had orange hair sleeked behind and metals pierced into his face, it seemed like he was absorbing Hikarus chakra, which meant that my best friend would lose. I ran in front of Hikaru and got ready to defend him with everything i had.
- "Get out of here, i got this!" I screamed at Hikaru.
- "You think I'll just leave you here alone?!"
I didn't have time to argue, he looked terrible and drained, I used my powers and moved him away in the crashed buildings, far enough to keep him safe for a while. The enemy smirked and attacked me, almost hungry for my chakra, but of course I didn't had any. He looked at me confused and I lifted him in the air, the markings on my face expanded again, I felt my powers running through my body, I hated him for what he did to Hikaru, just the thought of my best friend dying was enough for me to kill him, for the first time in my life i wanted to hurt someone, my mind got blurry and as i was about to crash every single bone in his body, I felt hand on my head. I looked up, still holding my position and saw another man in the same cloak with red clouds, he had the same eyes, same colored long hair and same metal shit in his body. I didn't even had time do move a muscle, he just yanked the soul out of my body and everything went black.
