"Funzo," states the disgruntled Funzone owner "Take them out."
"With pleasure," speaks the mascot as he chuckles towards the kids "come on,"
Webby stared, knowing full well the man standing before her was none other than Bigtime Beagle in disguise. What he was after however, she wasn't positive on just yet. Usually they try and fail miserably attempting breaking into the mansion.
"You heard him, kids. Funs over, follow me, guys."
That is, until she watched and analyzed the manner in which Bigtime acted towards the boys. Herself seemingly forgotten entirely as Bigtime motions the nephews closer with his hands, pushing on the ducklings backs when they're not moving fast enough.
"Uh, Sir?" Questions the red shirted and eldest Huey "Where are we going? The exits the other way."
Webby almost face palmed as reality struck, of course the bad guys would know the only great nephews and blood relatives of the vastly rich Scrooge McDuck.
"You'll be leaving soon enough, we got a special place for you boys first."
Bigtime was after the brothers. So it was a ransom scheme then. Webby kept quiet and to herself as the group were lead towards the back. All the while her head starting to spin, what should she do here?
"Look," speaks up Dewey "Whatever this is, we're not interested."
Huey, Dewey and Louie didn't seem to have any idea of the danger they were blindly walking into, but that's how normal people act right, Unknowingly?
"That's too bad," mocks Bigtime
They aren't like Webby and can spot kidnappers right away, they can't escape easily from their bindings and attack the perpetrators.
"Yeah," starts Louie nervously "It's been fun visiting... Whatever this is, but we're gonna go now."
She had to admit though, being captured, let alone allowing it to happen at all, sucks. Once far enough out of sight, Bigtime and his brothers corralled the boys into the back room and tied the three tightly together in a circle, legs also trapped in fiber knots. Herself being bound alone.
"Ow! That hurts, you know!"
"Stop it! Who are you and what do you want with us?"
"Let us go!"
The boys seemed panicked, so she should be too. The moment that door opened to reveal Ma Beagle, Webby played the role of a helpless hostage and screamed for help along with the boys.
"Let us out, let us out, let us out!"
"Help, help us!"
"No, no, don't close that door!"
"No, no, no!"
Webby calmly sat and explained everything to the boys. The kidnappers identities, the plot and the tidbit of one of them, more than likely her, being thrown off a cliff to prove a point to Scrooge to pay the ransom.
It was all going perfectly, she wasn't acting weird at all, the guys were no longer angry, devastated or annoyed with her. She was playing her part well.
What changed the tides was the moment Bigtime went to attack Louie after the youngest duckling made a joke that angered him.
"I'll show them, I'll show them all!" Declared Bigtime after Ma locked him inside the meat locker with the kids.
"Well, that's not something you wanna hear when you're tied up in a meat locker." Joked Louie towards his brothers
"Starting with you!" Yells a now charging Bigtime straight for the defenseless ducks
Webby would have remained tied up there so long as a normal person who hadn't been stuck in a mansion their entire life would have, but she drew the line when it came to any bodily harm being done to her friends.
"I'm gonna break every bone in his body."
Normal or not, Webby was going to do anything and everything in her power to protect Huey, Dewey and Louie. The female slipping her ropes and preparing to attack.
