The Medic had found some internal bleeding inside of Janine's skull and some other small fractures along her back, but there was nothing he couldn't fix with his trusty Medigun and advanced surgery skills. He was able to cure and heal in ways that your regular surgeon or doctor wouldn't.

Because of this, he took great pride in his work and did his best to take care of the Bruiser in his lab. He was able to open up her back and point the Medigun towards her fractures, which steadily created new bones in the place of bends and cracks that were caused by the impact of her back hitting the wall. He then did the same to her head.

Eventually Janine was "like new", as Medic likes to say with lots of pride in his skills. She was laying on the patient bed in the hospital gown Medic put her in to make it easier for him to perform surgery. He was now looking for The Scout and The Sniper to let them know of The Bruiser's status.

He noticed The Heavy watching television on the couch. "Where have Scout and Sniper gone?" He asked the large Russian.

"They are in training room with Spy." Heavy answered. Medic raised a brow in confusion at the mention of the Spy, but headed into the training room anyways. When he walked inside, he saw Scout and Sniper in front of Spy with worried faces. Spy held an open folder and Medic headed over to him, interested in what was happening.

Medic could see a photo of Janine in the folder and his eyes widened. "What is this?" He asked Spy, trying to grab the folder. The Frenchman quickly moved his arm out of Medic's way. "These are Ze Bruiser's secrets." He explained smugly.

Medic sighed, irritated. "Zat means you should put it back where you found it, Spy." Spy only shook his head at this statement and continued to read from the folder.

"First name is Janine, daughter of..." He then froze mid-sentence. Scout and Sniper looked at each other and then Scout looked back at Spy. "Daughter of who? Some bad guy?" He asked, eyes wide in interest.

Spy ignored the question and looked at Medic with a look of great concern. "Doctor, you do still have ze body of Harold, correct?" Medic winced at the mention of this name. "I thought we would not speak of the name since the incident." Medic mumbled.

"Harold?" Sniper said out loud and thought for a moment. "Now, hold up a sec, ain't that..." He caught himself and stomped a foot, nervous.

Scout looked at him again and then back at Medic. "Jeez, spit it out, one of ya! Who's this Harold guy and why's he so important?" He asked, impatient. He felt the energy of the room suddenly change and he became concerned.

"Somethin' bad happen to him?" He then asked after thinking. "Harold was ze first Bruiser brought here to fight." Spy explained.

"He was ze first of his class." Medic continued. "He invented the weapon all bruisers use. He was on our team for a short while, though." Spy nodded. "Ah, yes, ze incident." He cleared his throat to explain.

"A severe concussion to the head from his own gloves. He had not received ze respawn surgery yet and died from a quick loss of too much blood. Ze doctor was unable to heal zat bruiser at the moment." After listening, Scout spoke up. "And you're tellin' me that Doc's still got the guy's body? What's the purpose of that?" He asked.

"Screw the man's body, why's the bloke important right now?" Sniper asked right after. "A perfect question," Spy began with a smile. He then looked back at Janine's papers. "It seems zat our bruiser is a direct descendant of ze very first bruiser. In other words, Janine Daecan is ze daughter of Harold Daecan." He revealed with great flourish, shutting the folder closed.

"That a good or bad thing?" Sniper asked. "Zis is a terrible thing!" Medic realized with eyes wide. "Ze Daecans were sent a letter stating that he died in battle!"

Spy nodded. "This is indeed bad luck on our part." He agreed. "Nobody but us knows how he truly died, much less that we still have his body in zis base." Sniper thought for a moment. "What if the sheila gets curious and finds the dead bloke in Medic's room? What's the worst thing that could happen?" He asked with caution.

This made Medic think. "She blames his death on me and decides to join the BLUs." He answered. "Yeah, if she survives whatever happened to her head just now!" Scout began with worry. "Don't go killin' this Bruisah, too!" He warned, pointing a finger at the doctor.

Medic almost growled at the runner. "She will survive, Scout. In fact, the reason I came in here originally was to tell you that she is resting. She needs time to recover from her head injury. The reason the first bruiser died was because I didn't have the equipment I have today to save him."

Scout rolled his eyes. "Excuses, excuses. If I see anythin' wrong with her after she heals-" He began, angry. Sniper put a hand on his shoulder. "She'll be foine. Medic knows what he's doing this time, anklebiter." He said in a calm tone, annoyed at Scout's overprotectiveness over Bruiser.

"Whatever. We were looking at her gloves before you guys came in." Scout showed Medic and Spy the gloves Bruiser was wounded by. The two mercenaries looked the gloves over.

"Ze weapons that killed ze very first bruiser and injured our very second..." Spy muttered to himself. "Any way to make 'em not give Bruisah concussions?" Scout asked Medic, hopeful. "Well, they'd be less helpful when battling BLUs if we made them hurt her less." Medic answered.

"They're a dangerous weapon to both ze user and ze enemy, it seems..."

(If you'd like an idea of what Janine's weapons/gloves look like, take a look at characters from the game ARMS on Google! I got the inspiration for her from the game uwu I'll make sure to draw her soon!)
