"this is so wrong," azula breathed, her voice thick and heavy. "no," ty lee said firmly. "no, it's not." they were only inches from each other, their noses practically touching. azula inhaled sharply. "if it's not wrong then why do hundreds get executed because of this?" she countered. ty lee waved her hand dismissively. "it may be illegal, but it's not wrong," she retorted. "love is love. there is no preventing it. no containing it." azula paused. "maybe you're right," she whispered. "i am right," ty lee insisted. "what if my father-" "he won't," ty lee cut off.

she cupped her face in her hands. "trust me?" "of course," azula said without hesitation. "i trust you." but before azula could say anymore, ty lee kissed her. it was long and lingering, passionate and trusting. azula felt her chest warm up and her face glow.

"did it feel wrong?" ty lee asked afterwards. "no," azula said. "it felt right." ty lee smiled "good. it should feel that way." they walked off together, hand in hand.
