Saturday August 1st. It was exactly 2 weeks after the wedding. They were back to normal life now. They had a set schedule that worked for them perfectly.

With a schedule like this they didn't need a babysitter. One of them was home at all times with Emmalyn. It was better then they ever thought it could be.

It was 8am in the morning they were all up eating breakfast.

"Did you figure out if your picking me up to go to the appointment or should I come home first?" Eddie said chewing her eggs and toast. Jaime swallowed what was in his mouth.

"I think I'll come pick you up. That way we aren't late." Jaime explained and Eddie shook her head agreeing.

"Where we going daddy?" Emmalyn asked taking a drink afterward.

"We are going to talk to a doctor! Sounds fun right?" He asked her. She made a disgust face.

"For what?" Emmalyn said Jaime at a loss of how to tell her it was for her temper.

"Honey it's a doctor for you! She's gonna ask you all about yourself and maybe play some fun games I think you'll like it!" Eddie told her which made Emmalyn smile and seem more excited.

They really didn't wanna jump right into seeing a child psychologist but the past few weeks it just seems like she's getting worse and it can't hurt to talk to someone. Being brought up in the household she was brought up in has to mess with her head at least a little if not a lot. Just the other day jaime was letting her color before going to bed and when it was time to clean it up she broke 2 crayons in half and threw them at jaime and across the room. He was so caught of guard he didn't even know what to do. After that he told Eddie, he agreed and thought talking to someone would be a good idea so here they are.

"Shoot I gotta go" Eddie said getting up and putting her dishes in the sink. She walked over to Emmalyn and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"I'll see you later okay? Be good for daddy!" She told her and then headed to grab her purse, Jaime stood up to say goodbye.

"Be safe out there okay? I love you" Jaime told Eddie who smiled. Emmalyn interrupted their moment by saying "I don't want this". Jaime turned away from his wife's beautiful face and looked at Emmalyn.

"No you need to eat breakfast remeber? Or no tv." Jaime put his foot down. He turned back to Eddie who kissed him and said not to worry about her as she opened to leave taking a glance at Emmalyn once more. Her face growing with anger. She could see the temper coming. Eddie pointed a finger at her.

"Ah! You be good missy." She said as she shut the door. She heard it almost instantly...the first tantrum of the day. She let out a breathe hesitant to leave Jaime deal. She looked at her watch. She had to go, so she did. She felt bad but she handled the tantrums alone too.

"Do we need to go sit on the stool already?" Jaime firmly said to Emmalyn who answered by screaming no at him.

"Okay. Let's go" he went and took her to the timeout stool they had sitting against the wall near their back door. She continued to scream no but sat on the stool.

"You need to take some time to cool down" Jaime said quickly in between screams. She wasn't phased and continued so Jaime raised his voice.

"And when your done we can finish breakfast!" He got up and took some deep breaths as he walked to the kitchen and loaded the dishwasher. Emmalyn just yelling the whole time, it was giving Jaime a headache. He knew he couldn't lose his cool. He tried his hardest to remain calm.

About an hour went by everyone was calmed down and relaxed at this point. It was time to go though. Jaime had a surprise for Eddie. Him and Emmalyn got out to the street and got in a taxi. They headed to a car dealership.

After 2 hours of signing papers and test runs he drove out of the parking lot and headed back home in a brand new 2019 white Ford Explorer.

When they got home they both ate lunch and then took a nap. Emmalyn woke up at 4 but it was partly because she didn't go down until 1. Jaime had to get her ready to go to her appointment. He never did this by himself luckily Eddie had set out an outfit for him and he knew how to do pigtails.

Jaime packed all 3 of them a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to eat on the way or when they got there. He wasn't gonna let Emmalyn eat that in the new car. He got the diaper bag and paperwork they needed and headed out.

He parked outside the precinct doors knowing Eddie wouldn't see him in the new vehicle. She came out at 5:05, he rolled the window down.

"Hey need a ride!?" Jaime laughed getting her attention. She was confused and walked over to the car.

"Jaime why are you driving this?" She asked and got in not wanting to be late.

"It's yours." Jaime told Eddie and merged back into the road to go to there appointment.

"What!? What do you mean it's mine?" Eddie was confused.

"I bought it today. It's your new mom car" Jaime told her. She was speechless.

"Jaime! Are you serious?" She started laughing and he smiled shaking his head yes. She leaned in and gave him a big kiss on the cheek and kept her head there and whispered

"You are the best I love you". He blushed and she sat back in her seat and started eating her sandwich and talked to Emmalyn, answering all her questions she had.

2.5 hours later. They got home and Jaime carried a sleeping Emmalyn to bed. He then went to go get ready for bed where Eddie already was. He went for the bathroom door but stopped. He heard Eddie throwing up. He immediately started to worry.

"Eddie..? You okay?" He said through the door.

She caught a breathe and said "yes" back. He heard the water run and she opened the door ready to go to bed.

"What was that about?" He asked her automatically thinking she's pregnant, it was the second sign she showed in the past few weeks. Not to mention they had sex multiple times on their wedding night. Being safe but ya never know.

"I had Thai food for lunch it just mustn't have sat well" she said brushing it off and crawling into bed.

"Tomorrow we'll have to go pickup the enrollment forms so she can start preschool in September" she said changing the subject.

The psychologist recommended starting her in a preschool, her mannerisms seem normal for a 3 year old and interacting with other kids her age is something she never had but it would be very beneficial. Being in a more structured schedule too. They were happy to hear it and were told to just keep handling it how they are. Being first timers to a 3 year old is not the norm and so they were relieved to know it wasn't them.

"Yeah we'll have to go do that..." Jaime said unsure if she was hiding it from him. He just wanted to blurt it out and ask her. She didn't seem like it though. She was so blunt she wasn't acting like she was keeping a secret. He went to the bathroom to brush his teeth.

He came back and crawled up next to Eddie. They shared. A few kisses back and forth.

"How do you feel?" Jaime asked as they laid there looking at each other.

"I think I'm fine. It was just a weird thing I guess cause I didn't throw up the sandwhich you made me. Which by the way was delicious." She said flirtatiously, Jaime did a half smile back. His head was spinning he just needed to know if she was pregnant and maybe she didn't even know, and if that was the case he wanted to tell her. Eddie looked at him concerned with his face.

"Something wrong?" She asked and he looked away for a second and then back at her.

"Are you pregnant?" He blurted out, she was taken back and in shock she laughed.

"What!?" She didn't even know how to react she just laughed. Jaime didn't think it was funny. He sat up in bed with a straight face.

"Are you?" He demanded again. She sat up and looked at him.

"I throw up and you think I'm pregnant? C'mon Jaime. No I'm not" she assured him. He was relieved, not that he wouldn't be happy about news like that but Emmalyn was a lot already right now.

"Well the other week you asked about adding onto the family more or somthing and-" he said but Eddie stopped him.

"Jaime I just had my period last week. Relax" she told him. He was finally calm about the situation.

"Oh thank god" he said and jumped on top of her kissing her playfully as she giggled. It turned into a romantic lovemaking night and they fell asleep immediately afterward.
