After a slow start to the day because 79's doesn't deliver (liquor anyways) Rex and Cody finally were ready to begin screening again.
With a heavy sigh Rex called on their first Sue of the day.
"Ok next" Rex called out to the crowd.
A girl with regular brown hair walked in.
"My name is Amarosa and I'm going to join the grand army of the republic" She almost demanded.
"We will be the ones to decide that" Rex told her
"What are some of your skills?" Cody asked
"Well obviously i am a pretty good fighter. I know karate and I'm also a great leader because people flock to me for advice." She bragged.
"I'm pretty sure no fighting style called karate exist within the known galaxy" Rex pointed out
"Don't question it, it's a fighting style from another dimension that only I know!" She yelled at Rex
Cody made a "Shes crazy" gesture at Rex but they continued nonetheless.
"Ok and what do you mean people flock to you for advice?" Cody asked
"Well i'm a great strategist because i can see the bigger picture and formulate a plan for victory in the heat of battle" She told them
Cody looked her up and down. "How old are you?" He asked.
"15 why?" She answered.
"Have you ever been in battle or at least near a warzone?" Rex asked?
"Well no but i know i can do it i just feel it" She told them
"And you want us to risk the lives of hundreds of our brothers based on a feeling?" Cody asked her.
"I just know these things" She told Cody
Cody and Rex looked at each other and nodded. "Next" They said in unison.
Amarosa stomped out of the office.
"Pfft teenagers" Rex said
Then a guy with insanely dark hair walks guy was wearing all black with red highlights even his eyes were black.
He just stood there silently with an unamused look on his face.
"Uhhhh name please?" Rex asked after the awkward silence.
"My name is Shadow Sjena Schaduw Umbra Sombra" He replied, still looking unamused.
"Ok and what skills can you bring to the table" Cody asked.
"You'll have to see my work, it speaks for itself" He said, still unamused.
"If you won't tell us then how can we be sure you will be useful?" Cody asked.
"Death to all who oppose me" He yelled suddenly before resuming his unamused look.
"Uhh that still does-" Rex was cut off.
"Death walks among you" He kept blurting out random quotes.
"Did you just cut me off?" Rex was getting narked off.
"But I, for one, refuse to be a puppet. These feet take ME wherever I want to go!" He yelled.
"OK GET O-" Rex began to yell before an explosion happened right behind Shadow showing off his edginess.
"Sorry that just happens when I'm around guess your office can't take in all of this" Shadow said with a smug look on his face.
"For the love of the force get the heck out" Cody yelled
Soon after Shadow left Echo walked in carrying some paperwork
"Sorry about the delay sir we got all of the applicants right here." He told Rex and Cody as he put a mountain of files on the desk.
"Alright thanks Echo maybe we can finally get some order to this" Rex said
"Alright let's see here" Cody opened the first file.
"Ok Lila Prosa is next." Cody called out to the crowd
Just then a beautiful woman with golden blonde hair and amber eyes that could light up a room walked in. She had an elegant silk dress that was the most regal of purples. Her necklace was covered in vibrant green emeralds that just complimented her dress and eyes and hair. Her sandals were befitting of a goddess. Her hair framed her face in such an angelic way that you could almost hear the divine choirs singing praises of her beauty .
And with that description in mind Rex threw the paperwork in the air and stormed out not able to handle anymore today.
20 minutes later they were already in 79's halfway through a fine pitcher.
