If Cassil had known creating the stars would be this blissful he would have begged to have done it sooner. The nebula he was helping to build each star carefully put into place. He grew into an abnormal size in order to be bigger the stars so they fit in the palm of his hand. He shaped them by color and heat flung them out like little discs into the whole nebula he was working on which was truly a sight to behold.
He swirled his fingers around allowing the stars to catch on his fingertips and dribble down like delicate drops of water off a leaf. He moved his wrists carefully not wanting to mess up a single placement of a star or to accidentally shift the nebula over too far.
His golden eyes gleamed as he put the stars up and he pulled and pushed allow the nebula to take place before his eyes. He had never seen such beauty in all of God's creations and he doubted he ever would.
Doubting? That wasn't a very angelic trait. But it didn't matter. It won't matter soon. Soon they would have all the Almighty's powers and be able to create stars like this however they wanted.
He suddenly felt a yank on the back of his long curls of red hair and turned to see Raphael was the one behind it.
"Yes, Raphy?"
Raphael grabbed his wrist and he felt nothing but burning pain.
"What in God's universe is this nonsense?" He motioned towards the beautiful nebula with utter disgust in his voice and seemed to despise what Cassil had done with the stars.
"I call it a nebula. I figured we should make a place for stars to be reborn once they die out so that the universe will have every blank corner filled with stars." Sarcasm was dripping within his words.
Raphael lifted him by his hair and slapped his face harder.
"I know what a nebula is you fool! I was wondering why you took so much God-forsaken time building it! We have other star systems to work on besides this nonsense!"
"I just-I just-I don't understand?"
"Enough with your stupid questions Cassil!" He proceeded to slap him harder and then punched him in the gut.
It hurt but Cassil wasn't about to let that show to this prick Raphael. He grinned despite his pain and this only seemed to make the archangel angrier as he punched him harder in the stomach and on his chin.
Cassil continued smiling and clocked his eyebrow in a cheeky way before saying "What's wrong Raphy? Scared my stars will make the Almighty prefer my flawless design of depth and perception over yours of slopiness and rushing? Did someone leave their angelic patience back in heaven? How not very angelic of you!"
In response to this Rapheal socked him the stomach. It appeared Raphael had not been one of Cassil's favorites. He continued to spin him around in zero gravity and hitting everywhere there his fists could reach. His face. His eyes. His legs. His stomach. His chest
Cassil began to choke up blood but still, he smiled through the broken teeth. It was just a corporation that he could heal or even have replaced if Rapheal did end up beating him to death. Everything was just a whirlwind of colors. However, even when Cassil was bleeding and hurt everywhere he still could not get over how beautiful the universe was.
Absolutely screw Rapheal for not being able to see that. His nebula was awesome because he put love and respect into it which was more than he could say for the sorry excuses of stars Rapheal made.
But then again perhaps Raphael was right. Perhaps he was in the wrong here and-but no. Cassil would not let Raphael take advantage of him like this. At least not without making him go to far. A little revenge od his own. If beating him to a bloody pulp over a stupid nebula was his idea of divine justice then Cassil wanted no part of it.
Cassil continued to laugh and berate the angel before him allowing him to sink his fists and knees and feet into his flesh. Within minutes Cassil felt something he had never felt before. Sickness.
He felt as though he was going to hurl from the flips he was being forced to do by Raphael or the various assaults he was taking from him. But Raphael didn't need to know that. All he needed to know was that even if he destroyed Cassil's corporation he would just be issued a new one.
Suddenly everything became dark. The stars were going out. No. Cassil was just going to sleep. No, he was being forced asleep. His corporation was shutting down because of the beating he took. Or maybe it was from the dizziness. Or both. Only God would know. And She wasn't helping him. Cassil thought of the stars and how they felt in between his fingers. The small balls of light within his palms. The curls within the nebulas he had helped create. This would be his favorite memory. Sure he had only been alive for three days now but at least he had one happy memory to go off of.
Suddenly he was pulled awake by the yanking of his hair pulling him up like a doll. And a loud "Get up Cassil!" was yelled into his ear. He peeled open his eyes and felt no pain or sickness. He looked down and the angelic robes of his Seraphim status and did not see a single drop of blood. He reached into his mouth and all his teeth were there. Had he died and gotten a new corporation?
He reached around and felt his long curly hair and pulled it before his eyes to make sure and yes it was still as red as his fiery personality. He saw Raphael with Gabriel. He was still in-universe or in outer space as Rapheal had called it. But where was the blood? Then his stomach dropped. Raphael had healed him so there won't be any evidence he had hurt Cassil.
Raphael flew over to him and gave a false smile.
"So Cassil have we learned our lesson. We mustn't ask too many questions or we will face the consequences."
Cassil smiled and said "Yes Rapheal sir. We mustn't ask too many questions Rapheal sir." If Cassil had been wearing a mask it would have been less obvious of the rage that was boiling beneath him.
