Cassil was escorted back to his cloud by Raphael. Now it may have not been angelic of him to think but all he could think about was how he wanted to smash his head into the heavenly pillars they were walking by. And also why couldn't they just have flown there? Didn't they have these wings for a reason? But Cassil knew better than to question and he knew better than to let stupid Raphael get his day down.

He had created so many nebulas and when he was on earth he would be able to look up at the sky and point them all out to-

himself.

He was all alone. He was the only one who cared about the stars and helping make the creations of the Almighty look good. What Lucifer was telling the group calling themselves demons might actually have been right all along. Angels like Raphael did not deserve to have the power to create stars only to make it look like he had just thrown a handful of sand to the wind. He also didn't deserve his archangel status as he had only used it to abuse others. He was supposed to be an angel of healing for Almighty's sake but instead, he used his power over Cassil to beat him up and then used that same power to clear up the evidence and silence him. And it had worked. At least externally. He refused to let Raphael break his spirit.

But even Lucifer and the demons didn't care that much about God's creations. They only cared about getting power to make the universe however they wanted to. They even wanted to use the humans God was going to create on the sixth day of creation like puppets to see what kind of evil they could tempt them to do. Honestly, it made him sick to think of. And they certainly didn't care about him. He had only been recruited by them because he could stop time and that could help with the creation of one of their weapons against heaven.

But Cassil detested violence of any kind unless it was absolutely necessary. But he didn't really have a choice. Zadkiel promised to test whatever kind of weapon they were creating to use against the angels on him first if he tried to back out now as it could give some implication that evil was afoot.

And what was he even talking about going to earth for? He was a Seraphim so he would get to stay up here in heaven with the douchebag Gabriel and the asshat Raphael for all eternity. Yay!

Become a demon obsessed with power and only wanting to be able to see the universe through a lens of lust or become a boring robot who could be called and made to put on a show like a puppet with one yes Raphael sir and only wanting to be able to see the universe through a sense of divine self-centered righteousness?

The ones who called themselves demons may have hated the angels but at least the two groups could agree on one thing. Asking too many questions was dangerous because you would always be back where you started no matter what side you took.

When they got to his cloud Raphael told him he had better getting working on the designs for the animals. They were on ocean duty. Yeah! Far away from the beautiful plants and in a secluded area where Rapheal could beat him if he God forbid spent too much time making sure the animals didn't look like horrific and actually giving a shit and putting in the work, effort and imagination all the angels should be allowed to be doing anyway.

And another thing too is how fucking creepy it was how the archangels went from being these nice well literal angels to violent mindless abusers. They were also so manipulative too. They had a way of getting inside your head and making you feel like a piece of shit when they themselves were the pieces of shit.

And now Cassil was swearing in his head. Looks like he officially was a failure of an angel. He wasn't alone of course as most of those who were calling themselves in secret demons now hated all the peace and tranquility and literally wanted to watch the world burn. And he meant like literally wanted to have planets on fire.

Were these really the only two options he had because they both sucked?

Raphael lifted his hand causing Cassil to flinch violently. Raphael cocked his eyebrows obviously annoyed by the action.

"Playing the victim are we now Cassil?" He said in a mocking tone. "Because last I checked you were the one who took too long on the fucking constellations and the dumb nebula! You should be thanking me considering I fixed you up and put you on the right track. I only did it because I love and care about you. I am literally an angel."

Love? What he did was love? At least the crazier members of the ones who called themselves demons were upfront and honest about their psychopathic tendencies of wanting to torture others and didn't try to hide behind buzzwords like God's Plan or It's Ineffable. They openly admitted to how rotten they were on the core. But the archangels just would paint a smile on their faces as though they were righteous after they beat people and humiliated them and took away anything that made them unique. Super fucking creepy for sure! Perhaps Raphael had spent too long with Gabriel because now they were sounding a whole lot similar. And also if Raphael got to curse so should Cassil.

But instead, Cassil said "Of course Raphael sir. Thank you for the holy and angelic discipline Raphael sir."

Raphael dismissed him as Cassil silently cursed him out as he watched him fly off.

He turned and began to draw out all the beautiful creatures of the sea. Maybe he would get some weird and wacky ones as well. He personally was up for helping design the Kraken. He soon found himself drifting off until he was awoken by someone pulling him by the hair out of his cloud and down down down into the tunnels concealed by the lust mists being shot into the air. Lust and love were really hard to tell apart. (And no it ain't what you think. Get your mind out of the gutter)

At first, he thought it was Raphael and immediately assumed he was about to get a beat down. But the person who meet his gaze instead wasn't much better. Zadkiel.

"So dumbass did you spill your secrets along with your guts to Raphael when you pissed yourself when you got your ass beat by the literal archangel angel of healing? What the fuck did you do to piss off the most gentle archangel?"

Cassil wasn't answering that.

They eventually came up to a dark room lit only by a few candles and in the middle, there was a metal tin flaming with fire. But this wasn't ordinary fire. At least not heavenly fire. It made his skin feel like it was being burned off by standing too close.

"Now my demons this maybe it! Don't get too close!" Lucifer and the demons cackled.

The angel Azrael stepped forward. She was wearing a black robe rather than a white one that were more befitting to her dark long hair. She reached into her robes and pulled out a sharp dagger. She lifted her left arm out and rolled up her sleeve.

"Now behold! We have it! We finally have it! The thing that will destroy all the angels! Both their corporation and celestial forms!"

Cassil silently rolled his eyes in his mind. No way that was possible. A celestial form couldn't be destroyed.

Then Azrael held the blade up to her wrist and began sawing off her own hand as the demons cheered her own. Cassil started to feel sick like when Raphael had beaten him early that day.

She then held up her dismembered hand and threw it into the tin of fire causing her to scream loudly. She then held the stub up and attempted to miracle it back or put a new corporation back on the stub. But nothing. Her hand was gone. Both celestial and corporation.

"My demons I present to you the first flames of Hellfire! First the angels and then the Almighty then the universe! All of us baptized in our power! Together we stand as one!" Lucifer proclaimed as he raised his hands and the demons yelped and cheered.

Sure Cassil hated Raphael but having him completely destroyed in such a horrific way seemed a bit overkill.
