Meanwhile in the garden of Eden Aziraphale was having the time of his life. He got to play with snakes now that Gabriel had disappeared to who knows where.
Aziraphale was supposed to be helping with coloring their scales but every time he touched them they would slither up his arms and tickle his cheek with their tongues.
They were just getting his scent down but Aziraphale was definitely ticklish. He rolled around in the soft grass as the snakes continued to come for him and wrap around him and squeeze him with all the love and hugs in the world.
He giggled with glee and told them to stop moving so much as he could barely color their scales. Oh and some of them looked just dreadfully awful as they won't stop slithering.
Suddenly he was ripped from the pile of snakes and was facing a very angry Uriel.
"What have we told you about playing with the creatures! You are supposed to be coloring them in! Not playing with them!" She slapped him across the cheek with a loud smack and he did not cry but rather held tears back.
She pointed a finger at his nose and warned him about going off and messing up God's creations with his silly ideas and how he was only a Principality.
Aziraphale did the one thing he should have never done but almost always did when his anxiety reached high levels. Laugh like a tree of monkeys on nitrous oxide while wringing his hands.
"Shut it!" Uriel screamed punching Aziraphale in the jaw causing him to fall back. He stopped and looked down at his hands in shame.
Uriel got real close to him and said "No more of this nonsense. Do you hear me? We don't have time for your stupid antics. We have a tight schedule and we must stick to it!"
She then turned her back and huffed something about Princibablities being no good for any angel anywhere ever.
