A.N - Hi guys: I just wanted to clarify what the different gym leaders teach at this school in case anyone was wondering.

Ash: Gym

Clemont: science

Valerie: art/textiles

Ramos: English/history

Olympia: RE/astrology

Korrina: sports science/PSHE

Grant: drama/music

Viola: photography/geography

Wolfric: maths/DT

Those are the ones I originally came up with but if any of you have any better ideas then please comment and let me know! I figured because Ash and Clemont are younger than the other teachers, they'd have less subjects to teach. Enjoy!

Ash's PoV

"There we go kids!" I yell at my class of 12 year olds more commonly known as the orange class - we have the classes ordered in the colour of the rainbow - but anyway they grin at me and we all do a victory cheer.

"See - Dannie: I said that you could do it!" I say enthusiastically to a bashful girl with pink pigtails; she grins and nods happily, crying with joy: "You were right! I scored a goal in an actual match!" She says, nervously coming up to me and asking:

"D-Do you have anyone in mind for the football game next week? When are the team sheets going up?"

"Oh yeah - GATHER AROUND GUYS!" I yell at them; they all come running over to me and listen expectantly.

"Team sheet time!" I say: they all cheer at that so I laugh before reading out the names.

"Riley on goal; defenders are Kate and Sam; midfield are Jane, Saffa and Louis; and then our strikers are Finn and Dannie!" The kids I mentioned look incredibly happy to be chosen, but Dannie looks nervous. Of course she's smiling at me but I see it in her eyes - she's scared. I can hear a few murmurs and whispers behind her so I say: "Congratulations to the guys and girls that've been chosen but this doesn't mean that the rest of you are out of the game. Train harder, show dedication and a will to make a great team! That's what's important - Team Spirit! So good luck to you all next tine, but here you are. I'm leaving the sheet here - subs are also on it. Dannie; can I have a word?" As the rest of the class congregate around the sheet, she comes tip to me nervously.

"Am I really playing in the next game?" She asks; I nod and she grins happily. "Thank you so much Mr Ketchum! I won't let you or the team down, I swear! Bring it on!"

"And that's why you're on the team! You've got such detriment Dannie, and I'm proud of you! You can do it! Don't give up until it's over - the only message I hope to teach, and a lesson you already understand!" She goes red from the praise, hastily utters a thanks and heads of to see her friends for much. Aww man, lunch! Hopefully I'm not on lunch duty...

"There's the bell kids! Let's go!" I yell, seeing them all run onto the seperate changing rooms - girls and boys - so they can all go to lunch. About 10 minutes later when all of them are finally gone, I head back to the staff room to check the router for staff duty and... phew! Grant and Korrina today. That's good! I turn as I hear the door open and I hear Ramos having a debate with Clemont!

"... but if it's gone from the computer it's gone! If you have it in a book then it's there forever -"

"Untill something happens to the book. And for that matter you can make a copy of files, save them to the hard-drive or copy it as a PDF. Besides; you can adjust the layout of the extract you want to stop the kids from reading ahead and ruining the plot! If you copy and paste a short extract to be printed before the lesson then they can't skip bits of pivotal information!"

"Well - you teach with your fancy gizmos but I prefer the good ol' times." The older man sighed, limping heavily on his walking cane!

"Clemont!" I call - he looks at me and... goes red? Maybe he's cold or something?

"Hey Ash!" He replies nervously, asking me; "What do you have after lunch? I have a break followed by the orange class. I'm nervous - I've just had the blues and then yellows!"

"Oh yeah - I had the yellows then oranges. I saw the yellow class talking from walking from your class to the cafeteria and they looked happy! Next I have a double break, but the oranges are really great kids; don't fret" I exclaim; he gets nervous and asks; "The yellows didn't happen to... I don't know... mention anything about the science lesson they had before? I tried to make it fun for them but it was a test to check their abilities..."

"Yeah - a few were complaining about it but they were mostly just comparing answers. Apparently you set some mean equations Clem!"

"Oh..." he says quietly before looking at his feet awkwardly.

"Don't worry - I'm sure you did great! Grant said happily as he walked in with a slightly frustrated Viola.

"Yes, because of course you would know about setting an example of a good lesson. All you did do for an hour and a half today was leave them with some gloky-thing!" The photographer fumed. "Yes - I also have issues Grant. I was peacefully teaching them about how meditation is a big part in Buddhism and then the peace is disturbed by about 20 kids banging on tunes metal bars." Olympia grumbled, walking elegantly over to the coffee machine and pouring herself a cup.

"First: it's called a glockenspiel. Second; they were experimenting. Third; I was supervising them all. And finally... wait no, point three was the last point." The middle aged man said crossly. Clemont looked at him and asked incredulously; "So it was you that distracted them all from their tests?!"

"Sorry bro." Grant shrugged, also going for a coffee and biscuit.

"Aren't you meant to be on lunch duty with Korrina?! I ask - he goes pale, grabs a few biscuits and sprints out to everyone's laughter.

"That's Grant for you!" Valerie laughs, walking over to Clemont and asking, "Was your first morning ok?"

"Yup! It was great thanks. Yours?" He asks politely: the black haired woman laughs and said kindly; "I've been working here for years now but yes, my morning was good. Thanks!" As Clemont grins and blushed nervously, I stare at him, taking in all of his features: his long, shiny blond hair hiding his face like a curtain; his large oversized glasses making him seem even smaller; his tight fitting clothes revealing rather a skinny and weedy looking figure; and his ocean blue, drawing me in and making me feel calm. Oh yeah - he's gonna meet my mum today! Oh that's gonna be awesome!

"Still good for after school?" I ask him - he grins and nods.

"After school?" Olympia asks me; I say nervously despite Clemont doing this funny dance where he slides the sides of his hands across his neck; "Yeah; Clemont's coming on over to my house to meet my mum!"

They all stare at me and Clemont looks like he wants to sink into the ground for some reason and... oh, I think I said an oopsy!

"Saying that he's coming to yours after school to meet your mum makes it sound like you're both students here Ash." Viola mutters as Wolfric walks in and says; "Grant essentially got his ass whipped by Korrina because he came holding 2 biscuits and she went to take one, but as she did he put them both in his mouth at once!"

We all stare at him in silence untill he eventually gives up and walks back out, Clemont awkwardly shuffling over to make coffee.

"You have a phone?" Viola suddenly asks in a slightly aggressive tone; Clemont hastily nods and pulls it out. She grins and asks him; "You have ChatsApp? Great! We need to add you to the group chat."

"For professional reasons?" He asks and we're unable to hide our laughter. You see, the chat is more used for me, Grant and Korrina spamming them with videos of seals playing the saxophone and memes that I recaption and resend a lot of the time than actual work reasons - it's the most unprofessional thing ever!"

"Suuuuuure... totally professional!" I say, wrinkling at them all. The others get the message and Viola adds a very bewildered Clemont's number to the chat. Knowing that I can use the chat to get his number, I grin. This is going to be awesome!

Clemont's PoV

Um... that got a bit strange! So... yeah.

Anyway - the little kids were a nightmare to get to settle down at first but they aren't a bad bunch. Academically, they have a lot to learn but they have potential in my eyes! I truly think they'll do well, in exams and life! As I do with all of the kids, it's best to do an icebreaker activity befire the test to try and convince them that I'm not such a bad persons for giving them a test straight away! But I still can't help worrying as I stand in the corner with a cup of untouched coffee in my hand and a head full of queries and worries as I can vaguely hear everyone else talking in the background. Before I know it, the bell goes and I panicked to remember what class I'm teaching next untill Ash says; "Want to spend our break together?"

"S-Sure!" I reply, unable to stop my heart from thrashing itself into my chest. We nod at each other, and I decide what I'm going to do during my break...

"This is boooooooring..." Ash moans some time later as I'm sat with him on an outside bench marking papers.

"Yes well - it has to be done! Wow - some of these kids are quite smart!" I say in awe, looking at the test scores of the red class.

"Sally: 34/35. Jack: 33/35, Alex and Beth both got full marks." Ash says in wonder. I grin and say cheekily - "I have a spare test for the blue class. Want to see how smart you are?"

"OK!" He exclaims as I hand him the test.

"On one condition."

"Sure!" I say nervously.

"Providing that I do the test, you have to do a bleep test!" He cries - I stare at him in fear. Athletics are not my thing...

"Ok." I say, knowing that in my hearts, it's the right thing to do.

After he's handed me the test back, I read some of his answers out loud in utter exasperation.

"Cars use what type of energy to get around? Vroom vroom power. Gravitational potential is how high up someone is - look at the labels picture and calculate: how high was Frank when he jumped off the roof? High enough to do something that stupid - was he at the weed this afternoon?! What is the equation linking Mass, Volume and Density? The more Ash you have, the louder he is and the denser he is too! You should know this by now. General knowledge questions - can you identify this moon? That's not a moon... insert Star Wars music here. What historical event lead to the extinction of Dinosaurs? Trick question - they still exist. We all know the truth because of live videos. Watch Jurassic Park. REALLY ASH? DID YOU TAKE THIS TEST SERIOUSLY AT ALL?!"

"You looked like you needed a laugh..." the raven haired boy replied sheepishly and I'm unable to holdback a smile at him.

"No... don't encourage this Clemont... screw it. Ash: you just made my day!" I smile - he grins at me and I'm unable to to stop myself from feeling warm and happy that he'd do something like that for me! I... I don't know, there's just this feeling I feel around him.

Is it... possible that I've fallen for him?!

Is it possible that I'm in love with a guy I've barely known?

Is it possible that...

... he feels the same way?
