First off, whoever came up with the idea of Fin the SeaWing, I already had a similar idea, but I'll try to incorporate him into this anyway. Here's the IceWing.

Snowstorm was very proud of herself. She had managed to make it into the First Circle, as well as being the only princess in line for the throne. Even better, her first dragonet was about to hatch. Her mother and father, the king and Queen of the Ice Kingdom, sat and watched proudly as cracks spider-webbed across the eggshell.

There was a little squeaking noise as the third moon appeared through the side window, round and full to the max. Soon enough, a tiny, pale blue dragonet forced her way through the shell and out into the world.

She twisted her neck around to look at her mother, who, with a startled gasp, realized that her daughter had three colour-changing scales that swooped over each eye, shifting colours constantly, then settling on a beautiful, pale sea-green. The tiny dragonet also had a silver scale on her forehead, the mark of The Ten. As she edged further out, Snowstorm realized something else. The dragonet had patches of pale gold dappling her wings like the starscales on a NightWing. This is obviously a sign of animus magic, Snowstorm thought. Which was absolutely forbidden in the IceWing tribe after Darkstalker.

"Mother." Snowstorm hissed, her voice so full of sadness that the elderly Queen had to strain to listen. "My dragonet is an animus." she choked out with a sob. "What a shame. We'll have to get rid of her before she decides to run away, like Arctic did. We'll make it look like she was caught in a snowdrift and you couldn't find her." said the Queen, a look of sadness, but an obvious fear, in her eyes. "I'll find a snowdrift." Snowstorm replied. But she knew she couldn't to that to her own dragonet, especially her first one. Could she?

Replies to reviews: I know that these first ones will be short, and I apologize, but the chapters will get longer soon enough.
