SUPERSONIC CREATURE POWER
Chapter 8
The showdown was beginning, but Eggman and the villains weren't expecting what was coming.
Well, Egghead little do you know that the power of teamwork always prevails." Sonic said slickly.
"And we're always BORN ready to to take you down!" Added Aviva, "Koki, Jimmy, back to the Tortuga, it's too dangerous!"
"Righty-O!" Agreed Jimmy Z, as he raced back to the HQ, but a skeptical and jealous Koki couldn't have it anymore.
"B-but I have creature powers!" Koki stated. "Cant I-"
"You can have fun with tails on the Tortuga, questions later!"
"But, I could help y'—"
"—Epp! You are staying on the Tortuga whether you want to or not, end of discussion! Done!"
"Argh I'm tired of you singling me out like that! You always forbid me on your missions with the Kratt brothers, I want IN on this!"
"Watch your tone Koki! I know I'm your bestie, but know this, I am also your boss, you must treat me respect with due ways."
"But I wan't IN on this! PLEASE!"
"I don't WAN'T you on this mission, I want you in the Tortuga where it's SAFE!" Aviva said strictly ordering her employee kicking her to the Tortuga's latch. She then approached Koki giving her a warning glare.
"This can't end well." Chris muttered, as Martin nodded.
"You're telling me." Sonic agreed.
"MY team, My rules, you are abiding by them what so ever. End of discussion." Aviva said firmly, "I don't want to hear anymore about it. SO give up, and give into me, otherwise,If I see you sneaking out, you'll have to answer to ME! Comprende'?"
"But—" Koki said but Aviva quicly cut her off.
"COMPRENDE'?!" Aviva snarled eyeing her.
"…Yes ma'am!" Koki said, once again sad and defeated, as she reluctantly did what her boss ordered.
"Don't worry Koki, I'll stay with you on the Tortuga, so we can test out your Creature Powers." Said Tails, as he followed Koki on the metallic mobile home base.
"Woah, you sure, li'l bro?" Asked Sonic.
"If Koki's gonna take a strict order from her boss, like that, then I'm staying too." Tails said. "No offense Aviva." He then said sheepishly to Aviva.
"It's all good." Said Aviva.
"Later everyone."
Everyone waved good bye to the twin tailed fox, as he headed inside of the Tortuga as Jimmy Z put down lockdown mode.
"Ugh, Finally! Let's defeat you guys!" Zach said relieved from Aviva and Koki's argument.
"Ready dudes—and dudettes?" Said Sonic.
"Ready!" The brothers and Aviva agreed in their Sonic powers.
"LET'S GO!" Sonic ordered as the four spun into balls and attacked but there was dug shooters coming out of one latch of the Zach-Bot, and the four got attacked in a blink of an eye. Then suddenly the quartette got pose beamed.
"HA! Score!" Donita said!
"Ahhahhahahha! now to take you ALL down once and for all!" Eggman laughed.
"MY intuitions exactly! "AHAHAHAAAHAAAHHH!" Cackled Zach as Eggman pressed a button to eject a ray to shoot a beam to shock our heroes to death.
"Looks like it's the end for us bro." Said Martin.
"You said it, dude!" Said Chris.
Meanwhile, in the Tortuga, Koki was supposed to be having fun with Tails, but instead, she was too focused about moping about, joining the fun with Aviva, Sonic and the bros.
"What's wrong, Koki?" Asked Tails.
"Uh, YOU saw what happened. My boss Aviva, ALWAYS forbids me to go on hers, and the Kratt Brothers missions."
She's just looking out for you."
"Yeah exactly! She's always treating me like a little kid." Koki complained. She's a self righteous, an arrogant hero. And she's really bossy. I am only younger than her by two years, and she thinks I'm her child."
"Well, she IS your boss."
I know, I know, but we were like sisters when we were roommates in college, but NOW, since Chris and Martin put her in charge, she's her 'bossy' role too far!"
"Well, sometimes Sonic and I have our rivalries."
"Well, look on the bright side, Aviva's overprotective Martin's…heh-heh, ….hardly protective over….. Chris." Jimmy explained, later sheepishly.
"Oh THANKS JZ, I feel SOOO much better now! Ugh….." Koki snarled at her co-worker sarcastically.
Suddenly Koki got a signal on the Tortuga's main computer.
"Oh no! That machine Dr. Eggman and the villains—mainly Zach—built is about to murder my friends." Koki shrieked. "I don't care WHAT Aviva says, I'm rescuing my friends. I have an Idea."
"I'm coming along too. I think I know where you're coming from." Tails agreed. "Let's go!"
"Jimmy, put this ship on lockdown and stealth mode, as soon as we jet." Koki ordered, turning to Jimmy.
"Righty-O said," JZ agreed as the two snuck out.
"Gl'p! …..Aviva's gonna kill me!" Jimmy wailed, as he fainted.
