Chris: Sonic originally starred in a comic stip with a human girlfriend named Madonna. Same name as the famous singer. He even replaced a bald Ted Rossevelt fellow in pajamas who would become his arch-nemesis Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik, who both replaced Alex Kidd.
Martin, "Sonic later hot his own game for Sega featuring Eggman called simply Sonic the Hedgehog.
Later Sonic the Hedgehog 2 where he gained more fame for him and his new sidekick, Miles Prower
nicknamed 'Tails'. and multiple more games featuring more characters from Knuckles the Echidna to Silver the Hedgehog. Our kids love playing his games.
Chris: Later, so we studied, he starred in an arcade game in 1993 with Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel.
Martin: Real hedgehogs cute creature—not deadly as porcupines to smaller creatures—from Earth can curl up into balls but not the way Sonic can attack enemies. Their quills cannot harm metal.
