Hello, my lovelies. Ready for the next chapter? No? Yes? Well, either way, it's here. ^^

You'll just have to deal.

I'm glad... they're okay.

I just hope it stays that way.

Back at Santoff Claussen...

Bunny growled, "What's with her? Couldn't she just tell us what she was going to be so busy with? I mean, she's our friend now, right?" North looked like he was thinking about something, so Tooth had to answer him.

"Well... you didn't sound very friendly when you demanded that she tell you what sort of business she would be tending to.." Tooth said, being honest, but trying to be gentle. Bunny growled, glaring at her at first, but then looked away as his gaze softened.

"...I...I guess you're right.." He actually looked kinda ashamed. Tooth put her hand on his shoulder, looking at him with empathy.

"I understand that you find it hard to interact with her since she looks so much like Katherine.. but you can't take your frustration out on her. She's not the same person. She's Adaline, not Katherine. You need to get that through your head." Tooth starts out talking sympathetically, but then it turns into scolding. Bunny looks down at the ground, sighing.

"You're right... again. I guess... I need to go apologize to her..." He admitted. Tooth stopped him before he made a move to leave.

"Uh-uh. Nope, not now." When Bunny gave her a confused look, Tooth had to explain. "Never apologize just after a fight. Things will always end badly. Give it a little time for her to cool off, girls stay mad longer than guys do." Bunny mouthed, 'Oh..', and suddenly it looked like he understood. Tooth rolls her eyes a little. "Give it a few days.. then you can apologize." She says, before she flutters over to North to tell him she needs to go back to her palace. North nods absentmindedly, still thinking deeply about Manny knows what.

Tooth sighs and leaves, leaving just Bunny and North standing in the lounge room of Santoff Claussen. Things were quiet for a long time, and Bunny felt like it was awkward. Just when he was going to break the silence, North beat him to it.

"Do you think... Adaline has Katherine's memories?"

Kat sighed, walking into her home. Jack followed suit, walking in with her. When she plopped on the couch, Jack looked at her, a little confused. "Hey.. I thought you had elemental business to tend to." She looks at him and nods.

"I do."

Then why are you just sitting there? Shouldn't you go take care of it?"

She stares at him blankly, and then she laughs. "Oh, Jack, you really don't know how powerful I am, do you? I don't have to move at all. I can use my powers to affect the North Pole while still sitting here in the comfort of my home in the South Pole. I don't have to go anywhere."

He stares blankly, then his jaw goes slack. "Are you serious?!" She laughs and nods. He looks at his staff, then at her. "Could you teach me how to do that?" He asks, and she shakes her head. He frowns, "Why?"

"It's not something that can be taught. And besides, if I could teach you how to, you would end up sitting around and giving snow days instead of bringing them and having fun with the kids." He looked down.

"Yeah.. you're right." He smiles at her. He then notices what she doing with her hands. She's making something sparkly.. a.. snowflake?! His eyes widen, "Woah, how are you making snow? I thought I was the only one who could do that.."

She looks at him for a moment, then looks at the snow forming in her hand. "Oh.. I didn't notice I was making snow.. Well.." She looks to the side, then at her hand. "Snow is a sub-element.. it's just a solid form of water."

"Cool.. Any other sub-elements?"

"Yeah. I can make clouds by combining air with water, and also make rain, and thunder. Things like that. I can make fire into lava by mixing earth with it. I can make mud with water and earth, and lots of other things." She explained in a tone that mad it sound like it wasn't a big deal. But Jack was shocked.

"Woah.. that's really cool!" He exclaims, excited. She giggles a little.

"Glad you think so." He nods.

"So.. You think you can hide from me?" A voice resonates within the room, and Kat freezes up because she was hoping she would never have to see her father ever again. Jack jumped up in a battle stance.

"Pitch! What are you doing here?" Jack asks harshly, and Pitch chuckles.

"Oh, only to claim what's left of my humanity. You probably already know that she's my daughter, correct?" He asks, and Kat stands abruptly.

"I stopped being your daughter the moment you let the fear take hold of your heart! The moment you betrayed me and mom.." He comes out from the shadows, wearing a look of hurt on his face, but she glared as she knew he was faking.

"Oh, what a thing to say to your father.., come now.. give daddy a hug." He says, talking to her like one would talk to a baby. She growls , her eyebrows furrowing and her eyes glinting dangerously. Jack noticed that look in her eyes and decided to back off.. this was her fight, he had no right to get involved. Pitch laughed, "Oh child, you can't do anything to me. You're too weak."

In the speed of light, she launched blue fire at him. (Blue fire is the hottest fire ever. Like, literally.) "I'm no child, and I'm sure as HELL not yours!" While he was distracted by the fire burning his skin, she ran to him and tackled him. "And I'm not weak." She whispered when she was close to his face. Afraid, he disappeared in the shadows and left.

Jack looked at her, appalled at what just happened. Was he just dreaming? He pinched his arm. Nope. Not dreaming. That really did just happen. She stood up straight, fixing her hair a little. She sighed and looked at him nervously. "I'm sorry you had to see me like that... I can get pretty scary..." She rubs her neck, embarrassed.

"You're more powerful than I thought.." He admitted. She blushed.

"Y-yeah.. that's only a small bit of my powers though.."

"...Huh?!"

Well, that's it for now. Until next Friday my Kitty Kats.
