Here's your update! ^.^

"Y-yeah.. that's only a small bit of my powers though.."

"...Huh?!"

"Wait, what do you mean? Don't you only control the four elements?" Jack asked, shocked.

"Yes, but there's more to it than that. There's more than those four elements. There are dark elements as well.. " Kat looked down, almost reluctant to explain all of this to Jack. She looked at him, expecting her to give him that same look, that look Bunny gave her when they fought all those years ago. But.. she got the opposite of what she was expecting. Her eyes widened, and Jack actually looked curious.. he.. he wanted to know about the dark elements?! Alright then.. if he wanted to know so badly, she would just have to tell him.

She sighed, looking at the patient, curious look he gave her. She laughed humorlessly, "You aren't going to give up until I talk, are you?" He smirks and shakes his head. She rolls her eyes a little, cracking a small smile. "I suppose I have no choice then."

"Nope." He grins. She rolls her eyes.

"Like I said, there are dark elements. Shadows, Dark Light, Hell Fire, and Poisurn." Jack looked at her a little confused.

"Poisurn?" (Pronounced: Poy-shurn.) She nods.

"It's like the equivalent of tainted water.. but it's much more dark and sinister." He slowly nods, kinda getting and kinda not. She sighs, "I'll explain more about that later, lemme finish what I was saying before." He nods quickly.

"As there are the light elements, Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth, so there are the dark elements, Shadows, Dark Light, Hell Fire, and Poisurn. They are both fairly equal in strength, but when you put them together... they're nearly unstoppable."

Jack's eyes widened. "Unstoppable?! Do the other Guardians know about this?!" He asks, shocked. Kat shakes her head rapidly, her eyes showing a hint of urgency.

"But you can't tell them! Please! That will only give them another reason to lock me back up!" She folded her hands, begging him to keep this secret. "They only know I have the four Light elements, they mustn't know about the Dark Elements!" Jack looked at her, a look of sympathy overcoming his features. Another emotion was there.. but I just can't find the right word to describe it. He shook his head.

"Adaline.." He sighs and shakes his head again. "Katherine. Don't you remember? It was only this afternoon the Moon spoke to us and the Guardians. You are free.. nothing is going to change that." He took her hand lightly. "Please.. believe me." He said earnestly, his eyes glimmering with hope and honesty.

She looked at him, hesitating greatly, before nodding with a small smile. "Okay.. I'll believe you." He grins, noticing he still has her hand. He chuckles and uses this to his advantage, and pulls her in a hug. Her eyes widened a little, feeling herself suddenly lurch forward, managing to figure out that Jack had pulled her to him by his hand. Her chin ended up on his shoulder, and his nose buried in her hair.

She blushed a deep red, wondering just what was going through his head. He's hardly blushing, well, until he fully realized what he was doing. He pulled away, and she pulled away as well.

He couldn't help but chuckle at her perturbed face. She pouted more, nudging his arm. "Don't laugh at me!" Her pouting only made him laugh more. Don't get me wrong, he was blushing a little too, but not the tomato red she currently was. She playfully glared, waiting fro him to stop laughing.

He eventually stopped, seeing as she was waiting, but he still kept that idiotic grin on his face. It made it look like he wanted to keep laughing. She stopped pouting and simply rolled her eyes. The blush they both had went away, and they just looked at each other.

After a few minutes, the silence was getting slightly awkward, and Jack coughed.

Kat yawned cutely, making Jack chuckle again, but not loud enough for her to notice. "Did I forget to mention that using both Dark and Light elements seriously drain my energy?" She spoke sleepily, rubbing her eyes. Jack shook his head, looking a little worried, even though he knew she would be okay after she got some sleep.

"Yeah, you did. You should go sleep.. I'll stay here and watch out for Pitch.. you know, in case he comes back I'll be here to protect you and you won't be vulnerable.." He spoke a little rushed. She nodded, only catching about half of what he said. She tilted her head.

"What about you?" She asked.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, you look tired too." She explained curtly. He chuckles and shakes his head, closing his eyes.

"I'll be fine. I don't need sleep." He says. She shrugs lazily.

"Whatever you say. So.. are you going to stay in my room? I have a special chair you can sit on while watching out for Pitch." She asks innocently. He nods.

"Of course. It would be kinda hard to protect you if I wasn't in the same room as you." He says as if it was common sense. She nods and stands, heading towards her room, and Jack followed suit.

Jack sat in the comfortable lounge chair she had mentioned earlier as she lay in her bed. He smiled a little, she looked like a child when she was tired, and he thought it was just too cute. She snuggled underneath her blankets, and, after some tossing and turning, she was asleep. He looked at her, thinking she looked even more like a child when she was sleeping.

He shook his head and looked out the window, up at the moon.

Pitch paced back and forth in his lair. He knew it was her. It had to be. Sure, she looked different, but that was definitely Katherine. The way she spoke and how she reacted to his sudden appearance said everything. And even if she hadn't reacted like that and acted like she was a different person, he still would have known she was Katherine. He's been a terrible father, the least he could do was recognize his own daughter.

He sighed. A small part of him wanted to make amends.. but the rest of him screamed something else. Make them be afraid.. give them a fear they have never experienced before! Go on, make your mark! He smiled wickedly, his eyes growing darker.

"Of course. I'll make them wish they had never been reborn!"

I would have updated this sooner today but.. I was in the middle of typing it, and I have save it where I was so far. Then my laptop did the thing and went back a page randomly, and even though I had saved where I was it freakinG DELETED HALF OF WHAT I HAD DAMMIT. I HAD TO RETYPE HALF OF LIKE, A BAJILLION WORDS.
